While visiting Milwaukee, I decided to stop by Cousins Subs instead of my usual Jersey Mike’s. I’m from out of town and wanted to try something different — and I’m glad I did. The subs here are excellent. They even talked me into trying the cheese curds, which everyone has to try when visiting Milwaukee.

The older gentleman at the register was incredibly friendly and patient with all my questions since it was my first time at Cousins. Great customer service goes a long way, and he made the experience even better.

I ordered the Wisconsin Cheesesteak (no bacon), and it was fantastic — flavorful, fresh, and cooked just right. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth the stop if you’re in Milwaukee.“

“The prices are even better than they have been in the past. Sandwiches as low as 3.99 and 4.99. Fresh ingredients. Staff is friendly and efficient. They make the sandwiches the way you want them. You can have your sandwich, hot or cold. Plenty of parking.“

“Packed as hell so give them credit for that. But was the thinnest sub ive ever gotten from there. Usually sub is packed full. Got the ak47 and had like a slice of beef snd cheese. Missing the shrooms and onions. Looked like they were swamped at 1am and not enough staff. All tables were dirty and gross. So hopefully managment brings on more staff when local events are happening. Not sure what event but had to be something.“

“Went for the first time today for a doggo lunch date with muh fur baby. Wonderful staff and quick service. I noticed negative reviews complaining there was dogs, well no crap it’s the business model and there’s an actual picture of a dog on the door and logo. ANYWAYS price is a little steep but when I got my food holy cow it was delicious. And I love that they have dog friendly menu items available as well. The place is super clean for the amount of guests and animals that come through. Loved that the food pickup and service area is separate from dining. The only downfall was I did pay for pickles and there wasn’t any but I didn’t even notice it until I devoured the first half of my food. No big deal. I ordered the steak sandwich and strawberry limeade which I also love is made by hand with fresh fruit. My dog is now sleeping in a food coma as am I.“

“Take out deli that makes their sandwiches fresh to order. Known for their corned beef and pastrami but there are many more offerings worth your visit. The prep of your order takes time, be patient. You can wait in your car as they call your order over a speaker outside the restaurant. Delicious sandwich hack: order your sandwich on toasted Texas toast, thank me later. The sandwiches are great, the portions mirror the times, but it is a lunch sandwich you will find memorable. I highly recommend, I would visit again and again. Mark this on your must go.“

“The subs are great, really fresh bread even when you order close to closing time. I have Celiac and ask that they make mine up normal but put it in a dish for me to transfer to my own baguette. Very accommodating!“

“Was very good. I had the Mediterranean salad fully loaded. It showed the chix sliced but it comes in cubes. Get the extra cruasant buttered(thx to Joey for making it special). Oh my my my! I like to take the salad and flip it upside down into the cruasant bowl and use the cruasant to make a sandwich. When it comes out to you the chix and veggies are on the bottom. Ask for extra Italian dressing. The prices are comparable to other restaurants. Its a nice clean place. Only problem is the parking. Not much room. Though there's parking not to far. Its kinda hidden back behind a hotel and a apt building. I relaxed over by the splash pads over by the Town center and took a nice walk. Lots to do in the area. So get up and get in your hoopdee and get you sum Chocolate Factory grub.“

“The traffic is so noisy you can hardly converse when sitting outdoors. Also, we had to move indoors cause of so many bees. These things are NOT the restaurant’s fault. *It is a nice ,clean,place, with good food & friendly staff. I highly recommend it! As tempting as their large patio is, think about eating indoors instead.“

“Food was fresh. UPDATE!!!!! 5/3/26 ordered a hot ham and cheese on Parmesan Aisgo bread. As you can see from the picture that is not the bread that I ordered and that’s the second sub. The first one was cold and I asked for A hot Sub. When I brought the sub back, nobody apologized nothing. These subs are not five and six dollars a half inch Sub is running every bit of 10. Not cool“

“The in-house team at this Subway station in Oak Creek is super friendly and fast. My order was bit tricky as I wanted a Vegan sandwich, and I was taking a bit time of my own , but they were very helpful and made a really good sandwich for me. Even during their busy hour.
Happy to see business owners and employees being welcoming and caring towards their customers after a long time.

“Ordered pick up online. Arrived early and aplogies given despite I was few minutes early, they were also in dinner rush. Waited on side in lot for drive through pick up. Manager came out apologies for wait...needed family size chips for my order and they were out but said he would CHECK THE DELIVERY in process and find the box or make it right! Customer service impeccable for this. Food delicious...cold food cold and fresh hot food fresh and piping.

“Food is standard Subway fare, but what makes this place is the excellent service. The staff are unbelievably friendly and remember a shocking number of people's faces and orders. I love coming here just for the top notch service, but the predictable and familiar sandwiches are not bad either.

Vegetarian options: The staff are mostly vegetarian. If you like bold flavors, ask them to make you what they like to eat there.“

I've been getting Subway for decades now all from a wide range of locations, since Subway is a very large and well known restaurant and I will admit there are a few locations that barely reach 3 stars within the "Subway" franchises. Luckily, at 98% of my home States have all been 4 stars or more. I usually call ahead, place my order for specific pick up time. I've been going nearly every day for several years to a handful of locations and they top 3 are my 1st places to call. If you have any problems with the stores and the actual Manager isn't there, please complete your due diligence to ensure fairness to the store & the employees. This is to ensure you're not cheating yourself while keeping a shotty store afloat.“

The guy said that I will receive my food in 10 minutes. That was out 458 and at 5:08. I’ll receive my food. Thanks for telling me the truth. Any really do have good customer service this name is Carlos m. It was two females in there as well. They also greet me. Offered to serve as soon as I entered the building. What crazy is that He said 10 minutes and I thought it was gonna be like 15 and I was gonna get him a four star because I don’t like being lied to this was my first time visiting. This is the only picture I got, but believe that from the ceiling to the floor was clean. I did not want to be weird and got the taken pictures.“

“My first time there today,the sub was delicious ,better than most sub places Ive been too. However,I wasn't asked what size sub I wanted,the employee just assumed. Then,I told the employee what I wanted on the sub but she keep asking .She was about to remake my sub due to me begin Allergic to tomatoes,but i keep Benadryl in my work bag. “The food and service is amazing even with only 2 people most of the time with great pizza, footlongs, and sandwiches. The atmosphere is very dull and bad with no music or noise since most people don’t eat inside. They also accept every app that I can think of that delivers.

Vegetarian options: Subway is very vegetarian friendly but I’m not vegetarian but I worry about cross contamination since employees don’t change gloves and keep meat and vegetables next to each other.

Dietary restrictions: You don’t have to worry about dietary restrictions since you make your own sandwich but if you have a deadly allergy I don’t recommend since cross contamination.

Parking: Very easy to find a parking lot but might have to walk a bit.

Kid-friendliness: As long as you keep your kid under control it should be fine and is very kid friendly as the workers are very understanding.“

“I order for delivery from JJ all the time. It always arrives quickly, made correctly, and tastes great. I always get their veggie sandwich; not because I am a vegetarian, but because they are the only place that makes a tasty veggie sub! Their service is fine for their other sandwiches, but other places make equally good ham, beef, or turkey sandwiches so they don't stand out. But their veggie sub? Delicious, and nobody else has anything like it.“
