The subs are great, really fresh bread even when you order close to closing time. I have Celiac and ask that they make mine up normal but put it in a dish for me to transfer to my own baguette. Very accommodating!
THE BEST! Every trip to MKE we have to go to Suburpia. ICONIC!

Based on reviews, Suburpia on Layton serves delicious food. The sandwiches are so good, with the best sub being the brisket sub. Subs come in plastic bags because of how oily they are. The price is reasonable for the food quality and time it takes. The hand crafted homemade bed of meats is on a bed of bread of unfathomable comfort with a well balanced Italian dressing and vegetables. The bread is superior, like a fresh baked Sciortino's roll, nice and chewy with an awesome seeded crust. Suburpia is not skimpy with ingredients; a sandwich is almost twice as wide as others. The food is always excellent, and customers crave their sandwiches. The location can be a challenge due to traffic, but the staff is excellent. The restaurant has stayed true to the original sandwich for over 50 years. The Davey Jones is great. It is a must try when visiting Milwaukee’s Mitchell International Airport Area.
