“I stopped by here just a few days ago. I got my order to go because I'm at a hotel and getting food for all.This place was absolutely packed, but well worth the wait. The food was so delicious when I finally got to bite into it.My sub was juicy, the bacon was very crisp, just the way I love it. The lettuce was super fresh as were the tomatoes.Per my son, the buffalo chicken sub could be a little spicier, but he's a glutton for spicy foods, I don't doubt it had a good level of spice to it.10/10 totally recommend!!“

“I've been a relatively frequent visitor of Cheba Hut ever since I went to the one in Madison some years ago. I always get the Panama Red with half the chicken, striking a perfect balance of meat and ingredients, with two cups of jamacan red hot sauce that pairs PERFECTLY with chicken of any cut. The garlic bread bun is a must-have, and the cookies are a fine finish, and big enough to split in half to save for later or share with a loved one.

I've had my share of lesser experiences there, but recently I've had nothing but a string of happy experiences. Everything is reasonably priced for the amount of food you get, and the atmosphere alone is a meal to take in. The stoner/psychadelic aesthetic is a hard one to execute without it feeling tacky or too-much, but the murals that spread over the walls by the bar are excellent and the merchandise is made with a surprising amount of detail and charm.

I do wish the wifi at the Oakland location was better, though, it's the only thing at present that holds the experience back as a whole. Other than that, it's a place I rarely hesitate to go out of my way to visit. I wish there was one downtown!“

“The subs are great, really fresh bread even when you order close to closing time. I have Celiac and ask that they make mine up normal but put it in a dish for me to transfer to my own baguette. Very accommodating!“

“I had several people mention this place to me so my husband and I checked it out the other day. My husband said it was probably the best sandwich he’s had in Milwaukee. Very tasty , service was good. The decor is very weed themed ,if you couldn’t get that from the name ,so if that goes against your delicate sensibilities it might not be for yo. But that would be a shame because you’d be missing out on a very tasty sub. Highly recommend this place“

“Went to Jake's today for a pastrami sandwich. Very tasty: toasted rye bread, brown mustard, and a goodly pile of seasoned meat with tiny, flavorful fat pockets. Also ordered the potato salad, but they were out and subbed an order of less expensive fries. I would've preferred more meat on the sandwich. There weren't many customers inside--kind of odd, I thought, for Friday at noon.“

“They made the 3 subs I ordered to perfection! VERY GOOD! The gal at the shop (Ethel) was very helpful and very nice as well. It reminded me of going to one of the first Cousins in Milwaukee back in the 70's... (60th& SilverSpring) Of all the sub shops around now a days, Cousins are STILL the BEST! I'm now over 64yrs old, but give me a break... I've tried them ALL, and keep trying new places but...always end up at a cousin's to get THE BEST SUBS!! “The food and service is amazing even with only 2 people most of the time with great pizza, footlongs, and sandwiches. The atmosphere is very dull and bad with no music or noise since most people don’t eat inside. They also accept every app that I can think of that delivers.

Vegetarian options: Subway is very vegetarian friendly but I’m not vegetarian but I worry about cross contamination since employees don’t change gloves and keep meat and vegetables next to each other.

Dietary restrictions: You don’t have to worry about dietary restrictions since you make your own sandwich but if you have a deadly allergy I don’t recommend since cross contamination.

Parking: Very easy to find a parking lot but might have to walk a bit.

Kid-friendliness: As long as you keep your kid under control it should be fine and is very kid friendly as the workers are very understanding.“

“Great place for a quick fresh made right in front of you meal unlike some fast food restaurants where are the employees are behind some kind of partition or wall I don't know about you all but it always makes me wonder why they got to have hidden they the prep cooks could easily drop a chicken chicken nugget or two on the floor and I would have no way of knowing on the other hand at Subway if they drop something I'm right there to see it“

“Wanted to make this review for the location in South ridge Mall, but I see it's been permanently closed down. In 2016 me and my bf (now husband) were homeless teenagers, both of us just 16 years old. And we went to sit in the tables near the subway, and the manager/women there offered us two meals. We had no money, she took care of us and was kind. We ate for the first time in days. Once we became adults and got our footing, we made sure to pay it forward to people we see who need help. We still do to this day. We've been to Subway many times since then, obviously as paying customers, and never had anything but a positive experience (including the subway I'm reviewing) Subway is awesome. And that woman was awesome. The food is great and the people are amazing people. Keep doing your thing subway!“

I've been getting Subway for decades now all from a wide range of locations, since Subway is a very large and well known restaurant and I will admit there are a few locations that barely reach 3 stars within the "Subway" franchises. Luckily, at 98% of my home States have all been 4 stars or more. I usually call ahead, place my order for specific pick up time. I've been going nearly every day for several years to a handful of locations and they top 3 are my 1st places to call. If you have any problems with the stores and the actual Manager isn't there, please complete your due diligence to ensure fairness to the store & the employees. This is to ensure you're not cheating yourself while keeping a shotty store afloat.“
