“The Small Hall is the perfect area for a party/gathering. The hall is clean, spacious, and convenient. The owners respond quickly and are very nice and accommodating. Parking is behind the building, and easily accessible from Durand. Absolutely will host here again!“
“The food is fantastic and the price is even better. I was quite surprised by the low prices, to be perfectly clear. When ordering, we forgot to mention that a couple of the meals had to be gluten-free. We ended up swapping meals to make it work. I had ordered a build your own burger, but traded for the boneless breaded wings. The burgers looked amazing. While I didn't end up having one, I did have the buns...which were nicely toasted with buttery goodness. The wings were outstanding, tender and juicy, while not overly breaded. They offer a multitude of sauces. Teriyaki, BBQ, and DOA were all good. DOA was untamable, leaving my mouth blazing even after the Murphy's Irish Stout.Service was slower than desired, but it was fairly busy. If you want something, it seems you have to ask. This isn't a complaint, but rather an observation of what is likely the norm here. Also, the bartender was periodically playing darts, but was quick to get back behind the bar to take an order.“
“Ordered the 14" cheese pizza with pepperoni, sausage and bacon. When it arrived I was in disbelief, this thing was not 14", it was closer to 16! The thin crispy crust and pizza sauce they use made this the best pizza I have ever had. I ate the whole thing with 2 pints of spotted cow, which made a great combination. As a first time customer, if I'm ever back in the area I will be visiting again.“
“I want to say I was very welcomed in, the staff were amazing once they weren’t so hectic with all the guests and reservations they had for a Saturday/St Patrick’s day. Very wonderful family atmosphere. I didn’t have any food, and the drink selection was amazing. The axe throwing is a must, especially if you were like me and haven’t thrown an axe before. Staff trained well on safety and guidelines. I even had gotten to meet one of the owners; she was amazing, friendly, plus willing to help in anyway that she could. Definitely will be back again!!! Also make sure you call in for axe throwing reservations. My friend and I were lucky to get a half hour session in last minute. They do fill up fast!!!“
“I grew up on Chicago Pizza. I've been making pizzas since I was 14 years old and I'm now 77 years old. If someone came from New York or California and wanted to sample the classic Chicago thin crust pizza, I would take them to Wells Brothers. It's that good.“
“The last 5 years I have been opening & running both neopolitan “style” pizza restaurants as well as the only VPN certified neopolitan in Milwaukee & this is my favorite neopolitan “style” here in Kenosha! It is not for everyone this is truly an art form. Perfectly outer charred crust & a delicate soft center. It is traditionally eaten with a fork & knife. Beautiful job??we enjoyed it so much that we have been there the last two Wednesdays. The lasagna was also a super classic dish that tasted like grams kitchen. I know Cut Stone will continue to grow & be our go to for great pizza. The price is extremely generous if you understand the quality of ingredients as this is not you average garbage bar pizza! Awesome tiramisu & espresso to finish?“
“Everything was great. Got a large chicken parm pizza, as well as meatballs and spaghetti very delicious. Gaby, our waitress, did a wonderful job and made sure everything was taken care of for us. Coming on a busy night, nice to see so many smiles among the staff!“
“I absolutely LOVE Bernie's. Simple, delicious menu. Extraordinary taste in every dish (I've had almost everything on their menu). Fine dining atmosphere and super friendly staff. Bernie and his family are super sweet and love their customers, making sure they are pleased with their meals. I suggest trying them out if you've never been. If it's the weekend, make a reservation!! My favorite meal is the Chicken Parm meal, sauce on the side, with mostacolli buttered, garlic noodles with garlic bread. They have Italian bread that's delicious and their cheesy bread is fantastic! I always have Pepsi, but they have wine, beer, and cocktails. Enjoy!! Also kid friendly ?Kid-friendliness: Bring the kids!!“
“My family went here because the reviews were so good and we were not disappointed. The Renzo fries and pizza were delicious. I wish I would have ordered the chicken parm though because it looked so good. The sauce is thick and sticks to the entrée (not at all soupy like some places). Everything has a lot of flavor and they definitely don't skimp on the cheese. It was just two ladies taking orders, cooking, and serving, but they still got stuff out pretty quickly and were super sweet.Just a note, when you walk in, you have to order at a window and pay with cash. Most people got their stuff to go, but there are tables where you can sit and eat as well. This will definitely be a go to place for us in the future.“
“Ordered a thin crust with extra cheese and my goooodness it was good ! It had some garlic taste to the cheese and it was perfect. Different from other pizzas here in the best way possible. We’ll definitely be here more. Only been a day and I’m craving it again lol“
“Based on Pizza alone I would give Pa's 5 Stars. I do not recommend the fish fry nor the "mojo's"The Pizza is very good in a town full of very good pizza. They could refine some things, but all told very well done. Good ingredients, good flavor, relatively inexpensive.“
“Went and met my son in Kenosha, and he said to meet him here. Very nice place to eat at. Lots of cool things on the wall to look at. Did not know but they were closing in 20minutes when we got there, but these people stayed open longer just for us. They made no qualms about us coming in or try to make us leave so they could end their shift, they open again ai 4pm for supper business (We got there at 1:10 and they close at 1:30). Anyways.... their food was so good the service was awesome. So stop there sometime , they are well worth it“
“Hadn't been here in a while. Went to watch the mayoral elections results roll in. Food was excellent and love the broad selection on the menu. You get a ton of food and it's excellent. Our server took great care of us. It was fantastic - will be back soon. Thanks.“
“We have been going to Mario’s for years. The food is kind of hit or miss, you have to know what to order. The Pizza Bomber is a great sandwich and I have never been disappointed with that, their Saturday night rib special used to be my favorite, I’m sad they got rid of that. Their Italian food is good too. Their prices are fair I will say that, this is mainly the reason we keep coming back. The waitress is kind of abrasive (if you know what I mean) she comes off rude but she can be friendly if you get to know her. If you have a party larger than 4 don’t expect them to move the tables for you. You will be doing the moving. The main reason for my low service rating is because the food took forever. We were there on a Sunday night (after 7pm) there was hardly anyone eating there. Of course the bar was full (hence great atmosphere) but I believe we were one of a few tables occupied. We waited over an hour for 2 burgers, a salad, and an order of stuffed shells. I think these are relatively easy dishes to make and there’s no reason it should have taken that long. There was also a group that came in and got served much quicker than we did, almost like there was some preference there. Put it this way, it will be a while before we come back.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly unless you go when the bar is not busy. The bar tends to get rowdy.“
“They did a wonderful celebration for a baby shower in one of their reserved rooms. I was very impressed, they even had cloth napkins ?. Pizza's and salad ? very nice variety of pizza's and they were good. We will plan to come back sometime “
“Atmosphere does not really count as it is a pickup place.I've merely ordered from these guys twice and found them very responsive & both times they delivered a really good Pizza.I've encouraged my son to try them out, my treat. And I am encouraging you to try them out!“
“Hooray for beer! This ended up as my "office" for the evening and thanks to an RV parking app, my overnight space. After a nice chat with April, who was lovely and welcoming, I did my work stuff for a bit while enjoying a beer. And then, a tasty (if overdone) pizza was dinner with a second beer.On a Monday evening, the place was almost completely empty. I was the only person here (other than April) for a couple of hours until I was just about ready to turn in and another couple arrived. They're well set up with an outside beer garden, inside table games and a TON of space. Oh, and the beer is great![Review 20654 overall - 225 in Wisconsin - 1635 of 2023.]“
“The food was delicious! This is the closest I have found to the fish my dad used to cook up. Service was excellent; Brian was great. We asked him what he recommended, and most people ordered the pizza burger, the bomber, or roast beef. The bar has a nice old-school feel to it. I recommend checking out this bar!“
“First time going here. We met someone at WI State Fair that told us about the great food here, so me & my friend came last night & were definitely not disappointed!! Food was so good & the portions were so big, have leftovers for 2 more meals. Service was great too!! I had the lasagna, my friend had Chicken Parmesan & we both loved the food. The soup was really good too!! I definitely will go back!! I can only recommend 2 dishes because that's all we had had so far, but I'm sure everything is great.“
“I ordered in person. It was simple and my requests were delivered. I asked for extra sauce and for the pizza to be crispy or well done. Cheese and sausage. I took delivery in a bag and ate it immediately. I will definitely visit again. The crust was excellent though different from their biggest "competitor" in town.Yeah, I really liked this pizza.notes//•the sauce, while not sweet, is flavorful•I presume the reason the photos look so red is for the Xtra sauce•the cheese has decent "pull"“
“AMAZING!!! I have been having a HARD time finding a good flavorful Mexican restaurant in Kenosha (especially coming from Waukegan where there are good Mexican spots everywhere) and I was soooo impressed here! Flavorful food and their spicy red hot sauce is bomb!! Highly highly recommend 10/10!Customer service 10/10 they were all so sweet inside as well! Very family oriented (: let’s support this local business!“
“Many times I go here and order pizza to reward my students for positive behavior. When I go, my food is hot and ready to go. The workers are super nice and more importantly, the place is clean!!! Thanks!!!Parking: I had no problem with parking. There was more than enough room!“
“Pretty good pizza at a fare price with the coupon I had for half off. Staff was very nice. Pizza prices everywhere are very high since Covid and wage increases. Overall 4 stars.Vegetarian options: Not a vegetarian. Just know it's offered.Parking: 3 spots in front of building. Not sure if you can park in back. Some street parking out front.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level door but no auto opener.“
“Mark this place as a must go if you’re in Green Bay. The food is amazing, so is the environment. We personally enjoyed the upstairs bar area. Employees are friendly and welcoming. We also met the owner, Shawn, who was very welcoming and great to talk with about the history of the building and the city. Also, you HAVE To try his on tap old fashion that he has made from scratch, it is a fantastic drink. 10/10 recommend!“
“We had a small gathering at our house and we needed something quick to eat for our guests that was close by. We actually used DoorDash to order from here. As soon as I placed my order - the restaurant/bar called me to confirm they had the order right (above and beyond service). We never ate here before so we were taking a chance on taste- quality of food. Im glad we did! Pizza and wings were delicious! Great taste and good quality food. I was pleasantly surprised. Will give them our business again!“
“I'll admit, I was a little thrown off that s pizza place also had sweets, but it works! Not only that, but both are actually really good. Sauce is nice with a hint of sweetness - which works well, especially if you're getting pineapple on your pizza. Yes, pineapple DOES belong on pizza. Have had the chocolate covered Nutter Butters and the s'mores bark - VERY good! My favorite pizza place in Racine.“
“We order from Jimano’s occasionally for dinner but recently used them for a party. I called a week ahead and spoke with Ryan. He helped me decide how much to order, took my order, scheduled delivery and took payment over the phone. He was very friendly yet professional. On the evening of the party (a Saturday) the order arrived precisely on time. The delivery person was very friendly, polite and accommodating. The pizzas were hot and the salad was cold! They even included silverware packets and plenty of napkins. It was a great experience and we’ll definitely use them again!“
“I like to go here for Fri night fish fry, after work.Lake Perch is really good and also the Cod. I have had Bluegill here also which is excellent but they tend to run out of that, so come earlier if you want the bluegill. Fishfry comes w/ fries & cole slaw, is reasonably priced, & you can have your choice of the items on the salad bar which usually includes bread/rolls, veggies- carrots, celery, radishes, pasta salad, potato salad, & jello (I like it with the pineapple chunks in it!) You can eat in the dining room or go sit at the attached bar THE MEET MARKET & watch the large screen tvs. It is a family friendly atmosphere & everyone is really nice.“
“Had some delicious subs here! I'm from Kenosha and having Hungry Head close was really sad. These subs are so close to the same, it makes me so happy! Recently tried to get more and it's currently closed since they have new management. I can't wait until it's open again!“
“I have not lived in Racine since the 80s. Still today, I miss the pizza from this resturant. Never since, have I ever had pizza like this family makes. We also used to go to Giovannis, so many wonderful memories of Wind Point and the west side. ❤️“
“The Calamari was outstanding and a generous portion. The Margherita thin crust pizza was rather bland and a sparse amount of cheese. The crust was par with a cheap frozen pizza. The texture & flavor was definitely lacking. I would however give them a second chance and try a deep dish pizza.“
“I’ve gotten Nonnas twice before. The first time the pizza wasn’t crispy at all and it was kind of disappointing, however the second time was much better. The sauce is awesome and crust is good when it’s crispy. Paid about $16.50 for a Large with one topping. They charge about $1 more if you pay with a card.“
“It's been a family tradition since I was almost 9 years old. If there's one thing to always look forward to when returning to KTown, it's Luigi's. It's definitely evolved a bit since ownership has changed...I believe the recipe has as well. I love the powdery crust to the pizza but I feel it's a bit thinner than what it used to be. Still a delicious pie. And the Mojos??!! ? ? ?See you guys on my next visit.“
“We've not eaten at Charcoal Grill for several years, since the Kenosha location closed. Our visit was a pleasant surprise. The food was excellent. Our server did an awesome job, and the timing of our food was perfect. We will definitely be returning.“
“I brought my kids for a cousin's birthday party. They had never been to a Chuck E Cheese before and were fairly blown away. I didn't eat or drink since I was chasing them all but the kids liked the pizza and the swirly straws. It was a really fun kids party, the kids were engaged with the staff who were dressed in costumes. They got all fired up and ready to go wild.“
“Exactly the atmosphere you expect in a pub pizzeria. Our server Kirsten was friendly and on top of everything. We were extremely impressed with the nachos that had pot roast meat in place of beef. Such a simple change made a good appetizer great. We had the thin crust, which has the crispness of a cracker. This is new to me and I prefer a bit thicker crust but it was still very good. The sauce was perfect we just wanted a little bit more on the pizza. We plan on coming back and trying the beer nuggets and pan pizza. Definitely recommend!“
“This place has such a cozy feeling. Got to know some of the workers and come here quite often for lunch. The food is great, and when you get the super fresh batch it's amazing!! It's a great place to go for school lunches as food is already sitting out waiting for orders too. Great place to go for quickly prepared food. Also it has amazing pizza!!“
“First day of being open and it was a great experIence. We’ve been needing another pizza place here. Havent found a good place until now. We got ours with hand tossed and it had the garlic seasoning on it. Beats napolis crust any day. And the sauce and cheese was done right too. Hopefully its gonna stay like this, turnover rate is pretty high at restaurants. Also the staff was very friendly. They greet you when you come in and ask you how your day was“
“The staff here really are hilarious lol. Obviously the pizza is incredible. We stopped here twice for breakfast. Try the smores cookie if they have it, too! I didn't even know they had pizza by the slice, but it makes sense! Well worth it.“
“Great service & great atmosphere!! Walk in to pick up a to go order and Giovanni and Chris were hard at work cleaning on their down time! A work ethic like that, you just don't see very often! Way to go, Your boss better be proud! I will definitely be back.?“
“They ran out of breadsticks and the fryer went down for the chalupa shells but the staff were really apologetic and went above and beyond to compensate.Historically this place is pretty good but sometimes they goofy something with the order. Still, we keep coming back“
“This place is such an absolute gem! My husband and I go on dates here pretty regularly. The food is fresh and flavorful, and the staff is friendly and attentive. There are many vegetarian options, and even some vegan ones. The food menu is concise and well-rounded; there’s something for everyone. The Mushroom Pappardelle pasta (pictured) is my husband’s favorite pasta dish not only from this restaurant, but probably*ever*. We’ve really enjoyed every single pizza we’ve tried, but his fav is the Ravioli Pomodoro, and I think mine is honestly the humble Margherita. When the ingredients are such great quality, you don’t always need a lot of bells and whistles on a pizza! You can tell that everything you’re being served is high-quality and fresh here. Their salads are generously-sized, and their red wine vinaigrette is crave-worthy. The San Marzano tomato sauce that comes with their Angioletti appetizer (pictured) is probably the best tomato sauce I’ve ever had. Honestly, I wish they’d offer a tomato soup based on it. It’s simple, but incredibly well-balanced and flavorful. The angioletti are fluffy, pillowy, and a perfect vehicle for that incredible sauce.(Very minor) Critiques: It’s a nice, clean, modern space, but there are so many big televisions suspended throughout the dining area. When I’m indulging in such a nice meal, I’d love to have more of a cozy vibe. I dislike the distraction of bright, flashing televisions hanging above our heads broadcasting sports. It just feels like a bit of an identity issue—sports bar, or upscale pizzeria? But the booths are comfortable enough, and there’s a lot of natural light. It’s a very nice space. The Four-Cheese Ravioli (pictured) is amazing; its Parmesan Cream sauce is truly next level delicious. My only note is that it seemed odd as an appetizer. We assumed the ravioli would be toasted and dippable. I’d rather see it served in a bowl as a main course rather than as an appetizer.Overall, we love this place. It attracts a diverse range of customers; I see people having business meetings here, couples on dates, and families with kids eating their cute Mickey Mouse-shaped pizzas off the children’s menu. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with automatic doors and plenty of disabled parking. They play music at a reasonable volume, making for easy conversation. Give it a try! Enjoy!Wheelchair accessibility: Oak Fire is wheelchair accessible with button-activated automatic doors. Plenty of disabled parking right in front, I’ve never had an issue finding a disabled spot here. For those with sensory sensitivities: the music volume is low and the variety is reasonable. It’s usually modern indie music. It’s a spacious, comfortable environment with both booth and table options.“
“We planned our daughter’s birthday party at the last minute as she was home for spring break from UNL. Taylor Oliver was amazing in helping us put it together, He was friendly, helpful and empathetic to our situation and made the whole thing happen smoothly. Thank You Taylor we appreciate you very much. Villa Di Carlo is our favorite place in Town for great service, and food.“
“The fireside is a kenosha staple. If you are looking for a good Bloody Mary or a really good old fashioned then head on in. The bar is great it wraps around with a nice atmosphere. The food is very good, I have had the prime rib 3x recently and every time it is good. They sadly will be closing in June 2024 but until then enjoy.“
“The food was mediocre. I had a roast beef sandwich and my friend had the Ruben. We swapped halves. Neither one of the sandwiches were any good. I should have ordered a salad. The strawberry-banana "milkshake" was actually a smoothie. There wasn't any ice cream in it!“
“Great customer service and amazing pizza. If anyone from Kenosha remembers Pa's pizza on 22nd, from back in the day... This is an exact replica. The beef Italian sausage is a unique and delicious alternative to pork. It's what they used at Pa's. This pizza is equally as good when it's cold.“
“This is our go-to pizza place in the neighborhood. They offer great deals, the ingredients are fresh, food is always hot, and it’s so quick! Once I ordered delivery and they were at my house in less than 15 minutes. I was completely blown away. Friendly and helpful staff, online ordering is easy, and great pizza! 10/10“
“Best pizza place in Racine - bar none! It's too bad the kids can't manage this one - they inherited a gold mine and I can tell you first hand how hard the family worked years ago to establish it. Now they are they are operating until it's closed. What a shame. Get your pizza while it lasts. We go to Nonna Wells now - you can eat-in at the Sturtevant location.“
“Best domino's is on 18th Street. The dominos on Douglas Ave in Racine refused to let me talk to the general manager and the district manager.Refused to give me corporate number. Then they tell you Dustin is the district manager and he is not.He thinks it's funny that someone from that store stold my credit card information. Not only refused to give me any numbers he called the other close stores not to give it to me...tell me three other stores don't know corporates number? Sounds fishy to me.Thanks to Kenosha store on 18 th I got what I needed to correct this. Thanks again Kenosha“
“Everything is amazing. Better burrito or enchiladas then a sit down restaurant. Sandwiches are amazing. Best burger in town. Even though it's located in the BP gasoline station it's cleaner then you could imagine. Forget chick fela their chicken sandwich is ? fire!!!“
