“As we walked in, we saw that it was busy and seat yourself. They are located right on the river and even have a patio out back. We made our way to the bar, grabbed a drink, and started to scope out a table. You could eat at the bar, but we were actually lucky enough to get a table very quickly. We ordered the clam chowder and the perch fish fry, and it was all very impressive! The soup was great and not overly thick. The perch fry came with 6 pieces of perfectly crispy fish, french fries, coleslaw, and rye bread. We were very impressed by this fish even though it wasn’t beer battered. The breading was thick, crispy, and flavorful for every bite. We completely understand why it is such a popular spot!“

“Our group stopped by after the GB Chicago game. Upon walking in they were actually closing after a slow evening. As we were about to leave, the owner asked if we were there to eat or have a drink. Of course we were all starving from the game and thirsty as well which we obliged but we understood and we would just go to our cabin we rented. The owner then asked the cook ( Sara ) if she had closed up yet which she had. Before we knew it the kitchen was open and the fryers were heating up. Needless to say we all had a great time with the staff and the owner. The Broasted Chicken , mashed potatoes and Stuffing was freaking delicious.We actually were at the Bar the 2 previous days as well and had a great experience each time.We will definitely be back on game weekends as well as trying out the ice fishing !!!!Highly recommend Smully’s on all levels. “Some of the biggest TVs I've ever seen; for watching packer games, of course. This is our go-to place for kimchi fries, and Thai tacos. The food here is full of flavor, spicy and sweet! We come in often and have tried most of the menu without finding anything we didn't like! I'm not a big drinker, but I love that they're open late into the evening on weekends, and that there are egg rolls with drinks on Fridays.I'm excited to see what other events they'll put in the space!“
“Visited here for my sister's birthday and we all had a great time! Great selection of games, good drinks, and the food was out of this world! So much so that we werebtalking about the burgers days after our visit. Seeing all the retro games brought back such happy memories of staying up until the early morning hours, playing video games with my sister. We'll definitely be back!“

“It seemed more like a clubhouse. Regulars all know one another and everyone stares when someone thats new comes in. The food is good. Waitresses are attentive. Sit at a table because if you sit at the bar you will likely be in one of the regular's spots. Their Reuben's and French Dips are good.Parking: Plenty parking except when they have a special event and they set up large tent in the parking lot.“
“To get in, they have these blue fabric things kinda hung funny over the entrance to what im guessing is the smokers patio this time of year. Because of the way they were attached, it was a little weird trying to actually get in the building.Just had burgers to eat, and they were ok. The buns crumble and slide off the burger patty, making it tough to eat without getting it on you. The patty tasted a little plain, too, but it wasn't bad.Service was just ok. It was very slow for how many people were there working. One of the three bartenders walked past my empty bottle on the rail three or four times so she could talk to the server at the end of the bar, which i was three feet away from, about something very much not work related. That wasn't super impressive, but not a deal breaker, i guess. It was good, not great. With all of the other options around, I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to go back.“

“Been searching all over for the best fish fry to my tastes. I am very fussy! I have found it right here! The fish is crispy, which is the way it is supposed to be. We ordered the Pollock and it was so delicious! The french fries were perfectly done and the beans were exactly the way they are supposed to be, a bit sweet and tender as the rye bread was super fresh. We will always come here from now on, and the good thing is, it is close to home. Thanks to you all for such a wonderful experience as we have now found our absolute favorite Friday night Fish spot!“

Wait staff was great, when we saw her... Ten minute wait for a mixer refill isn't all that bad in a packed house. We get it. You're Chambers Hill, you're busy.One hour and thirty five minute wait on the fish plates. That to me is kind of ridiculous. Anywhere else in brown county you will be under an hour, even at River St Pier, the Rite Place, Redwood etc.Perch plate was so salty I couldn't even finish it. Could be a fluke batch of breading? Other halfs plate was perfect. Fries are to die for. Slaw and bread that comes with the perch are also perfect.Great if you have some time to kill. Not so great if you've worked up an appetite on a Friday along with a powerful thirst. Probably have to be at this place well before 5 on a Friday without having a long wait. You'll be tipsy by the time your food arrives otherwise.“
“We were traveling in Brown County looking for waterfalls. It was time to nosh. My sweet wife had found Black Sheep online and we headed there. Walked in the door and was hit with a decibel level thatwas near unbearable ( why does everyone think they have to shout at the top of their lungs?). We almost left. Then a perky hostess approached us, we had to talk into each other's ears to be heard. We were seated at a nice table and given menus by a friendly and capable waitress. We ordered spinach flatbread and onion rings. My lemonade was delicious. Our food was very good and we were happily full when we were done eating. The pizzas we saw were well made and tempting.Place reminded me of Brix in Manitowoc. A noisy restaurant/bar with TV's at every angle. “Stopped in for a Friday Perch dinner special, the meal was extremely delicious, serving was very large! Included in the meal was delicious rye bread, and Coleslaw that reminded me of Grandma's homemade recipe! We upgraded a side to a loaded mashed potato, and that did not disappoint! We also enjoyed an appetizer of cheese curds! The service was quick, and the wait staff was very friendly! The value of this visit was well worth it! We even had a conversation with the owner Kevin. “I drive a truck and was out for a walk after parking for the evening. I went for a walk and found this place. Decided to have a beer and a sandwich. Ordered one of the specials (a brat patty sandwich and fries). Food came pretty quickly; tasty and hot. The service was good, and the bartender was friendly and appropriately talkative. Good selection of beers on tap. Clean decor, though some of the barstools were a little worn and taped. I am sure I will go back.“
“Very clean. Loved that it didn't "stink" like a bar with stale old cigarette smoke & booze. The female bartender was very nice. I did not communicate with the male bartender, but he appeared personable to the patrons he was serving. They even allowed us to park our cars as we were kayaking and landed them at their location. We didn't eat, so I can't speak to the dining experience. The drinks were cool & refreshing after our time on kayaks in the hot sun.???“

But we did have a very large group of people, so to be far I will be willing to try the food here again. The drinks on the other hand I thought were not very good. The bar tender was great the drinks were not. Tried 3 different drinks. I did not like any, and one was supposed to be an iced tea. “Good dive bar atmosphere. Mostly full kitchen open til 1am. Burgers are gigantic so I don't really get them often....too big but taste great. The wraps and BLT with tots are my go to. “The previous reviews for this bar are so spot on. Suamico is a very small town so it's really one of the only local spots that can cater to all ages. We arrive around 6:45 pm on a Saturday for dinner and drinks as a group of 4. We found one open table and scooped it up. The age of the crowd was probably 35+, very flustered waitress, seemed confused but greeted us promptly, got our drinks and gave us some menus. She returned 25 minutes later to admit she forgot about us, very apologetic, took our order and put it in; no big deal, we had drinks and good company (plus good people watching). Food came out, very accurate and tasty (3 burgers and a small pizza). We never saw a waitstaff person again. After another 30 - 40 minutes we saw our little waitress run by so we flagged her for our check. Now, at this point, we notice the crowd has shifted to mostly 20 - 22 year olds ready to party...party on but time for us to go! We called for our uber back to our airbnb and his exact quote "I've never picked anyone up from Shoots before bar close". Gave us a good laugh and a reminder that we are now approaching 40 and bar close doesn't look good on us!For those saying they only wait on regulars, I get it but think about it....they know those people and spend a lot of time getting to know them. The staff we interacted with definitely wasn't trying to be our new BFF but they weren't rude. You could easily point out the regulars, they were having a great time and rightfully so!“
