“New to the area we found this restaurant on yelp. We went for a hamburger and were very happy to have stumbled across a delicious meal, welcoming atmosphere, and additional entertainment with bingo. We will be back for both the food and bingo.“

“I went to this restaurant upon the recommendation of a local person and I have no regrets! I had the Portabello Mushroom Ravioli accompanied by a salad, a slice of lemoncello cake and a soft drink. The meal came with bread with olive oil.While slightly above the average price range, I found the food very good.The salad was fresh and house dressing very nice.The ravioli was flavorful and surprisingly, without being salty, tasty, nestled on a bed of spaghetti. The texture of the pasta was soft and yet al dante enough for a pleasant culinary experience. The mushroom filling of the had a very pleasant firmness to it without being crunchy. The sauce was very nice, tart without being too acidic. The accompanying spaghetti was nice and al dante!The lemoncello cake was delightful although slightly sweet to my palate (as most cakes are). There was a nice flavor to it and it just melted in my mouth.Service was great during this quiet time before the dinner crowd came in. I had let the hostess know that I wanted a quiet spot and she placed me in a nice quiet cove. The waitress did not bother me but was there almost immediately when I needed something.Overall, the prices were somewhat fair for the atmosphere and food quality. I would recommend this place.“

Am really missing this place since we're rarely in Madison anymore. Started having meals here in 1975; and everything I've ever eaten from here, whether dine-in or carry-out, has been fabulous.“

“I am an international student and live around the area. The Main Depot is a heritage bar. Its more than a bar, its a community of people of all ages. Undoubtedly the kindest people I have met at any spot in my 2 years in America.P.S**** = If you are lucky you can see trains passing from the bench on the backside. Enjoy ;)“

“Luckys- where do i start. this is the best bar in madison. the food is great but the atmosphere is even better. they have specials for everyday of the week, and the music turned up for the perfect jam sesh. good for a chill night or a wild night out.“

“The waffle fries are probably the best I've ever had. At our table, we shared or tried each other's stuff, so I had the brats and burgers and catfish. I thought all were excellent. When you get in, there's a popcorn snack mix at the table that is cool and different. The service is great. You are taken care of by all the wait staff, not just one person. I was told that they share all tips that seemed to keep them motivated.“

“Jordan's is one of the best bars in the city. An excellent food menu with daily food specials, not to mention a Friday Fish Fry that could rival anyone else in Madison! An awesome atmosphere for any Wisconsin sporting event with Badger football GameDays being the crown jewel. Super friendly staff and just general great vibes any day of the week. “I first went to The Plaza in 1968. It was a go-to place throughout my college years. Just went back for the first time in decades. I'm pleased that except for the flat screen TVs it looks pretty much the same as it did then. The Plaza Burger is still outstanding and the french fries excellent. Broad selection of beers with many from Wisconsin. I introduced a friend from Cleveland to it last week and she loves it too. Next time I'm in Madison I'll be back!“

“My daughter and I were greeted warmly, given a variety of seating options and decided to sit on the front patio for lunch. There were privacy panels so we felt separate from the parking lot and our dog was welcome. Our server was kind and attentive and the food was fast, fresh and really good. The menu is big enough but not too big and there seems to be something for everyone. Not only would I recommend, I will return tonight for dinner.“

“Free house made a very tasty smash burger/ hamburger for me today…it was really good! It took really really long for them to take our order and cook my burger though…like 20 minutes to order and 20 minutes to cook. It was very tasty though!“

“Lunch time. Appetizers of cheese curds andHomemade Jalapeno Wontons. Curds looked homemade and were very. Wontons were homemade with cream cheese with fresh chopped jalapeño’s in a wonton wrapper served with sweet Thai chili sauce. Mild and really good. Then burgers made your way. Service was very good considering it was around noon.“

“It is a classic bar. It's not some cutesie fake speakeasy or craft cocktail place. Its a bar with barfood, bar tv, bar decor (neon beer ads) and very kind/capable bartenders & staff. It is beautiful. It's the bar I think of if someone says "a horse walks into a bar...". It is perfection.“
