“I googled places to eat around DeForest and this place had great reviews. We arrived at 530, they said it would take 20-30 minutes to seat. We were seated within probably 10 minutes. The food portions are insane and so good. Very good flavor and a lot of food for what you pay. Definitely would recommend and eat there again! Pictures in the comments!“

“Best poke place in Madison. Period. Everything is always super fresh and they really top your bowl to the brim. I love that they don't have a limit on toppings so I don't have to choose between all my favorites. Even though a bowl is pretty filling, I always save room for their shaved ice or pineapple dole whip.

During our last visit (Madison, WI), the Culinary Manager Kevin made our favorite dish that was discontinued - Thai Coconut Shrimp that our favorite waitress, Cam asked if he would do for us. I had the porterhouse pork chop which was good. You can get it anyway you'd like. I had mine medium well and it was done perfectly.

“The food was great. We had less than stellar service, our server was nice but I ordered a wine flight to pair with my 3 courses plus a sparkling wine to start. The wines didn't come until after the first course was done. They never brought the second course or any bread so I ended up having 4 glasses of wine for my main course which was ok, but not what I had planned on . I'm sure the recommended pairings are great with the food as Ive heard others recommend doing that; hopefully next time I'll be able to enjoy them together! The medallion trio was great as was the buratta sausage flat bread!“

“We don’t have much places in Milwaukee that specifically does dim sum. This is my go to place in Madison for all you can eat dim sum and for their other dishes as well. Me and my sisters love this place. The dim sum is always so good! The other dishes are just as good. I definitely recommend their soup dumpling and garlic green beans.“

Robin was fantastic in helping us plan details and menu selections ahead of time, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. We enjoyed the Deviled Eggs, Roasted Red Pepper Dish, and were delighted by the complimentary Roasted Green Bean Salad from the Chef. All three dishes were absolutely delicious!

For our main courses, we had the Stacked Burger, Scallops, Steak, and Hand Breaded Chicken Tenders. Each dish was beautifully plated and generously portioned. Our server and other staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

We had little ones in our party, and they were very accommodating by providing highchairs, a children’s menu, and kid-friendly cups. Additionally, we had a guest in a wheelchair, and the space was accessible for them, which was great.

“Porta Bella has a great atmosphere for a date night since it is dark with cozy dining nooks. There is a parking garage directly infront of the restaurant with plenty of parking!
The food was delicious with great size portions.
Would highly recommend the lasagna and the calamari!“
