The food was mouth watering, service was friendly and speedy, and everyone left smiling and with full bellies. North South, you did not disappoint! Comfy seating, quick service and delicious food. Patty melt was phenomenal as was the turkey avocado club sandwich, which featured a huge slice of house smoked turkey (not the usual soggy deli meat you find elsewhere).

“This is one of the few restaurants I've been to in the last 5yrs that I believe deserves 5stars! Went for our anniversary. The sweet little waitress was extremely friendly and accommodating. The waitress and chef even brought out complimentary champagne to help us celebrate our day along with a card and gift card for our next visit! The seafood was reasonably priced and very yummy. The feel of the place is cool, elegant and laid-back somehow all at the same time. Definitely recommend!“

“Amazing fish fry! Madison’s best kept secret. I recommend the catch of the day. I happened to get tilapia, swordfish and salmon. This is a must when visiting Madison. No seating so find a nice park or relax in your car. Wonderful service, fast and hot. Pictures= #1 catch of the day and #2 calamari“

“Food is all around solid. Ordering is table side via qr code and they bring it to your table pretty quickly (~3-5 minutes this visit).

The Apex galbi, bulgogi, and chicken bulgogi are all good. Definitely get some of the vegetables as well, they're a good balance to a very meat heavy meal. Price as of writing is $35 for 90 minutes of all you can eat, so it's not cheap but you can leave as full as you want to. Our server was great in offering us suggestions and bringing out a small sample of the more Korean desserts so we could try them.

“Our seating was opposite of the bar near the entryway and the partition wall greatly isolated the bar racket. We ordered the NY strip and the slow roasted prime rib. Fries, scalloped potatoes, and chili were sides. The fries had been sitting long enough to be only warm, but I could tell when they were fresh they would have had a good subtle crisp. The scalloped potatoes and chili were great. The NY was seasoned well and was perfectly cooked to medium. The 24-hour slow roasted prime rib (Saturdays) was very tender, though the flavor could have been better. The aus jus saved it and was good. We decided to also order the desserts of a grasshopper (one of the best I've had) and cheesecake. This was house made pumpkin cheesecake and was of a generous portion. My wife and I would eat here again. We might have to come back sooner than expected for more chili! Keep an eye out for drunk townies. Some dude in his 60's with a group thought it was a good idea to quickly fake lunging out in front of my car as I was pulling in. It was 5pm. Bro, you gotta live long enough to get SSI and your AARP card. Be less stupid.“

“We generally love Cooper's but on this day everything was a little off. The service was mediocre given the time in between courses (most likely not the server but the kitchen). The dining room was very loud. We ordered surf and turf. The steak was exceptional, cooked to perfection at medium rare however, the stuffed lobster was completely overcooked to the point of rubber. That's not our usual experience. The food is generally outstanding. Everyone deserves another chance and since our experience is typically wonderful it won't affect our future visits.“

“Can’t say enough about the quiet, easy, lunch experience for a 83 birthday for a Japanese man who has international experience in Asian cuisine. Free appetizer comes with birthday lunch. He chose barbecued Short ribs with honey sauce and I had one of their 4 buns with a creamy custard center and flaky skin over soft bun. The Peking Duck was the reason we came and it was perfect. Tender duck carved and laid over lettuce with each slice offering the crispy crust so hard to get right while keeping the meat perfect. The platter was decorated with 8 double buns and accompanied by a gallon of savory duck soup with the bones, cabbage, greens, onions and seasoning perfect. I had beef with onions, rice, and shared the soup. The music and service were ideal. It took almost as long to choose from the extensive menu as it did to enjoy the meal.“
