“Absolutely delicious food, I ordered the fried chicken on a bun, and it was AMAZING, the best I've had in a long time! And the fries came out hot too! I also loved the atmosphere - bunches of little tables with friendly chatter and happy servers. “We had the pleasant experience of having Koffie Trader cater heavy appetizers at our recent gathering. WOW! The bourbon meatballs, gorgonzola stuffed mushrooms, water chestnuts wrapped in beacon, spinach cheese spanakopita and assorted desserts were a huge hit. “Growing up in the area my parents and I were curious to see The Hub Studio Cafe as we remember going to Laacks when the grocery store was still there. This is a small space designed for small gatherings - I wouldn't recommend bringing your party of twelve for lunch. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. You order at the counter - I'd love to see this switch to table service but understand that staffing may prevent that. The food was delicious. My mom and I both had the Moo Melt - great blend of flavors, lots of cheese. Possibly a bit too much cheese as it overwhelms the beef. My dad had the Chris' Lunch Sammie and thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband had a cup of soup and a salad and enjoyed both. We finished our meal with the salted caramel white chocolate chip cookies - don't skip these! Overall this was a delicious meal and we would stop again. I do think the prices are a bit high for the location; lunch (three sandwiches and a cup of soup/salad) for four people without anything to drink besides water was over $60. This is Johnsonville and that seems high for the area. It won't stop us from going back but it is something to be aware of before you go.“

“This was my first time at Red Shorts Cafe and let me tell you, the food exceeded my expectations by far. I had the omelet special, and it was next level! This was not your local greasy spoon.
