Chicken Restaurants near Wauwatosa

“I am crazy and hate cheese fries. I don't get why people like the soggy wet mess of them but I do love buffalo macncheese with their chicken on it. The only way to make that is to Jerry rig it with 2 or 3 menu items and honestly it's a hassle. I call and see if I could do the cheesy buffalo Macncheese fry without frys thinking to get laughed at and instead they actually helped me out. Super friend staff, good food, and trust me on that buffalo mac-“

“The food from this location was great. The chicken was hot and tasted really good. The cashier however, did not want to be at work or something, because the vibe was off and if hunger wasn't a factor, I would have left just based off that.“

“I am giving 5* because Ari did a great job managing the wait on food and customers that were having issues. She did everything to make it right!! Great job Ari. She needs a fat raise! We did have to wait about a half hour for our food, very short staffed.“

“I love coming here for lunch often for some hot chicken sliders with cheese on em and they’re so good and so flavorful and the fries are on a whole another level and the staff at this place are very kind and the food here makes my day every time and it never disappoints😋😋😋“

“Really poor customer service don’t even bother trying to call because Chris can’t we always say hello hello hello and never answer the phone and after probably five calls you’ll be hung up on every time so don’t even bother calling.“

“Haven't stated this before for fast food chain, but this was delicious well made crispy, spicy, succulent and flavorful chicken!
We've had DHC at the falls & capitol dr location, which were subpar, so drove out of the way to try this location.

“Best chicken !! Always fresh, and crunchy.“

“Love this chicken! You will have to wait a little bit but that’s because everything is fresh. Everything was very good. Will be back for sure!“

“I've always gotten great service at this location I'll drive past others near my home to come to this one. It's always clean the staff are always pleasant the portions size is good they work as a team to keep the line moving
I like it here“

“I don’t know how I’m just now finding out about this place. Chicken is overly bussing especially with that dry seasoning. You have to order extra sides of seasoning because that’s the main attraction lol. That seasoning needs to be available to purchase by the bottle Want be disappointed

“Its fast food. That said the chicken is very good.
Tried a bit of both fried and grilled. The grilled has an odd oily coating. The fried chicken was great and frankly better flavor and texture all around.
The staff is just rock solid.“

“We ordered Saturday for the 1st time. My gyro was so delicious, the sauce was great and the portion was good. I did ordered an extra pita and extra meat so I could have lunch during the week. My husband had a cheeseburger with bacon, his only complaint was the bacon was soggy but he LOVED the burger and really loved the fries. it's very rare fries come delivered and are crispy!! Definately will be ordering again!“

“I honestly cannot say ENOUGH great things about Gold Rush Chicken! They’re an amazing crew with fantastic food & service! I’ve been ordering from them for over 30 years & it honestly has only gotten better!! They’re South Side Royalty as far as our family is concerned!! We LOVE Gold Rush Chicken!!“

“The best fried chicken I’ve eaten, not bruised or black. Oil was fresh, staff is nice! Good ole fried chicken- Crispy and crunchy, falling off the bone!!!“

“I got to eat there for the first time last week at 10:45 PM. That's a late dinner, but it was really good. The young ladies at the counter were super nice and bright. Even though it was a late hour, the food was really good. And the service was outstanding.
I highly recommend it if you're looking for it's the really brightly lit place on the westbound side of capital. But I loved it the! I would give them more stars if I could. 🤩“

“the cashier was awesome and the food was great!! definitely a good little spot to eat 🤤“

“I loved the staff they were so friendly and offered a larger bag, and a drink carrier, lotsof other places don’t offer on the spot and also look like they hate their job lol. I didn’t get a good look at her name tag but she was wearing a blue shirt and a blue hair clip in the back. She was so kind! Idaly also helped today, she was friendly!“

“Stopped in here for a post-dinner drink and enjoyed our cocktails and conversations with Brittany and Maress! Great service in a great space, and a place worth revisiting to try their craft burgers and chicken. Still, the bar is a comfy and pretty spot to enjoy a quick drink and chill.“

“Golden Chicken holds a special place in my heart as a Milwaukee native, representing cherished childhood memories. Returning to this iconic location, I sought a quick and satisfying meal for my tired family. Opting for the classic 16-piece chicken meal with fries, I was reminded why Golden Chicken remains a staple. The crispy perfection of the chicken, a delightful constant, delighted my taste buds once again. This establishment's ability to evoke nostalgia while delivering impeccable flavors is truly commendable.“

“Hands down the best KFC location in the entire Milwaukee metro area. There’s too many KFC’s and Popeyes that are often manned by teenagers that couldn’t care less if your order was mishandled. The people running this store genuinely care about the quality of the food and deliver exceptional (and kind) service. Hats off to this location because it is an absolute shining star in a sea of poorly run franchises!“

“son los mejores en servicio de delivery, y la comida, fresca, y deliciosa, recomendado al 100%“

“Tried this chain at a random gas station in California and have been hooked ever since!

$6 gets you 3 large tenders and a biscuit!

Inside a sketchy bodega! Just keep your head down and get to the chicken window. lol“

“I ordered Golden Chicken snack small chicken and chicken leg and small coleslaw with generous serving crinkle cut french fried potatoes. I ordered a Golden double burger with cheese generous serving of crinkle cut french fried potatoes. With delivery fee for under $16.00. The chicken hot and moist absolutely wonderful flavor. The Golden double burger is always a great snack or small lunch for $5.00 the best dollar amount for a beef burger with french fries. The burger was hot cheese melted, bun not soggy. French fried potatoes crisp tender inside hot, salted, perfect. Menu posted on website check a few of the photos when typed in Golden Chicken West Allis, WI.
