“Went to a group class today 12/8 with my mom. It was a nice group and the snack and drink we got were good. As the sun went down, there was a glare on my mom’s painting and she had trouble seeing what she was doing. She asked the male server if one of the shades could be lowered. I didn’t see who he approached to ask but her response was “NO, we aren’t lowering the shade!” He came back to relay the message and said something along the line of “it’s best that it stays where it is.” My mom squeezed her painting into my space where there wasn’t a glare to finish. Overall a fun experience but they were unnecessarily rude in response to a reasonable request.“

“Don't know why this place has three dollar signs. It's incredibly cheap! $4 for pretty much everything (20 craft taps, well/rail drinks, and wine). They have a great selection of 20 rotating craft beer taps for $4, and also offer growler fills. It's hard to go wrong here.“

“Service is A++, very attentive, knowledgeable and personal. Food is outstanding… we usually start with Bruschetta and it’s one of the best I’ve had. Soups are full of flavor - Tomato Basil was the special, Im a basil freak and had to have a cup, it was phenomenal.

The entrees we chose were Ossobuco and Ravioli ai Quattro Formaggi with sautéed shrimp….and explosion of flavor in every bite.

If you’re looking for good paella in Milwaukee - look no further. The chorizo was amazing and had a great spice.

The menu is easy to understand - there is either an 8 course menu or you can paella (which comes with an appetizer, dessert, and cava, sparkling wine). Because it’s a small operation, you pretty much pick from a few options.

When we walked in, we were greeted by Chef, who is a wonderful cook but also so welcoming and kind. The service was very personal, which added to the dining experience.

It’s hard to pick if I preferred the appetizer, the Valenciana paella, the flan, or the bread pudding. They were all delicious! I will say, the flan was unique in a way that I really enjoyed.

Overall, I’m looking forward to returning here on a cold winter night or a long summer evening.“

We ordered the zucchini fritters, fried calamari, baked chicken, shrimp souvlaki, and got the tzatziki/Tarama/Tirokafteri dips w/ pita bread. “We used the Greige Patisserie for our November 2023 wedding in Oconomowoc, WI. They did our personal cutting cake and dessert bar. We mainly communicated with Miranda, who was very responsive, professional and helpful. The dessert tasting appointment was really fun to try out some of the more popular treats. They delivered and set-up all the desserts on wedding day and it looked perfect. The cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly like the inspo pictures we shared. The dessert bar was a hit and we had multiple guests talking about how good all the treats were all weekend. We had s’mores shooters, strawberry shortcake shooters, lemon bars, salted caramel tarts, snickerdoodle cookies and macarons. We would definitely recommend the Greige Patisserie to future couples. “I’ve been two severa Coopers Hawk wine bars, but living in SE wisconsin I was excited they finally opened a MKE location. My first experience was they were so packed and wine tastings were impossible because there wasn’t enough room. Too much of a good thing, both sides of the bar! But that’s being fixed now. They remodeled to increase size with a new bar, are adding an enclosed outdoor patio by spring, and adding staff to speed up service. Today I had three wines, plus an over pour they gave me during a flatbread lunch paired with the chef’s suggestion. Amazing stuff. Checked out with 6 wines, flawlessly used my card on member file, and utilize a reward credit. Quality, ambiance, and value. MKE finally has all three! I expect Brookfield will become as consistently great as Gurnee and Barrington, just a little closer.“

“We randomly found this place and went for lunch. We sat outside. Our server greeted us and was wonderful. My wife asked her a few questions about the menu and she was kind enough to answer. I had a smash burger with fries. Kid had the ceaser salad wrap and my wife had the BLTA. We got the bang bang shrimp for an app. Everything tasted great. The smash burger had good flavor, the tomatoes and onions were fresh. The bun was really good. The bang bang was really good as well. Good flavor, not huge pieces of shrimp but plenty of it for the 3 of us. The wifes sandwich had a ton of bacon. It was the really good thick bacon. They made sure it wasn't soggy. The outside patio area was nice. Everything seemed brand new. Nice chill lunch time vibe. Only thing i was a little confused about was if the meal came w fries or not. We just asked the waitress for fries io chips. The fries are really good. We'll definitely go back.

“I don’t even know where to begin with this meal that was curated by Chef Ryan at Pilot Project Brewing Milwaukee for our event. I knew that I wanted a meal paired with beer and/or wine but Chef Ryan completely and totally outdid himself. As stunning as the presentation was, and as incredibly delicious as the food was, the very best part of Chef Ryan’s presentation for me was at the end. He brought out his two Sous Chefs and told us that he himself was only 28 and his Sous Chefs were younger than him. He went on to tell us that he brought these two from other (competing) restaurants and is cultivating them to be incredible Chefs in their own right. He said that he knows that eventually they will spread their wings and fly and have positions in new, exciting, up-and-coming restaurants. In the meanwhile, you could tell he was sincerely taking great pleasure in being the one to train and mentor these two young people. 🩷That in itself was EVERYTHING.🩷 If you happen to notice that the Pilot Project is doing their four or six course meal, paired with their beer/wine and it’s open to the public, take it!!! “I came here for dinner with my dad. I've actually been coming here for years, but I wanted to write a review for my recent experience.So the food is awesome. We got cheese and garlic bread with a pepperoni and bacon pizza. All of it was stellar and arrived pretty quickly. I never had issues with the service or food. Our server was great and everything in our order was good and correct, though my dad would say that he wishes the old fashioned he had was stronger.The restaurant was almost empty on a Friday night, which seemed really unusual especially for a restaurant tied to a movie theatre. I also noticed that there was an unusual wait for the check, like over 30 minutes of waiting. The waiter came by and apologized and explained that the POS system went down and asked if we had cash (which I fortunately had). After another wait, he came by to explain that he couldn't ring up the bill, accept payment or bring us a check due to the system being down so the manager had actually comped our entire meal.I wanted to give Zaffiros a great review because I really do love this place. I've been going to this restaurant for years and it's still one of my absolute favorite places to get food. I've always enjoyed the pizza here, and the service has always been solid. I just hope more people come here and support this really great pizzeria.“
