“I would give Cavas more than 5 stars if I could. Everything from the food, to the service, to the atmosphere was excellent (emphasis on how good the food was). The couple who runs the restaurant are lovely and go above and beyond in every aspect of the meal. We got the 7 course tasting menu and wine, and it was absolutely delicious. If I could only go to one restaurant in Milwaukee again, it would be here.“

“We used the Greige Patisserie for our November 2023 wedding in Oconomowoc, WI. They did our personal cutting cake and dessert bar. We mainly communicated with Miranda, who was very responsive, professional and helpful. The dessert tasting appointment was really fun to try out some of the more popular treats. They delivered and set-up all the desserts on wedding day and it looked perfect. The cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly like the inspo pictures we shared. The dessert bar was a hit and we had multiple guests talking about how good all the treats were all weekend. We had s’mores shooters, strawberry shortcake shooters, lemon bars, salted caramel tarts, snickerdoodle cookies and macarons. We would definitely recommend the Greige Patisserie to future couples. “I took my daughter-in-law to Blu at Pfister for Victorian tea. We each enjoyed one pot of tea from a selection of 15 different teas. We had 3 layers of food to enjoy, savory and sweet including scones, cucumber sandwiches, salmon and crab, turkey, pesto, red pepper along with various desserts with chocolate, fruit. We definitely needed to go boxes! Enjoyed the great views of the city and great service. We also each ordered a mimosa too!“

We ordered the zucchini fritters, fried calamari, baked chicken, shrimp souvlaki, and got the tzatziki/Tarama/Tirokafteri dips w/ pita bread. Everything tasted impeccable and the presentation of the food was great! Atmosphere was perfect for the sunny day. I also got a Salty Cucumber cocktail and it was super refreshing and tasty. I literally don’t have a single bad thing to say about this spot. We also ordered a pound of the tzatziki spread to go and another pound of the tarama to go 🤣“

“Foy's is a nice spot on Jefferson for a cocktail. The place is casual but has a stylish decor. In summer, a wall of windows opens up to the street, giving the place an airy feel.

I've visited several times this summer, and the only concern I've had is that the service and drinks can vary depending on the staff that day. Our last visit was excellent—the two bartenders mixed some tasty drinks for us. On some other visits, different bartenders didn't seem to have the same talents.“

“Service was excellent, especially due to large crowd because of event at Fiserv. Food was so-so. I ordered the short rib pasta. Short rib was good, but pasta was dry and seemed reheated. Menu stated Peppercorn cream sauce-there was ZERO cream sauce. I was very disappointed. My husband had smash burger-extremely dry. Cheese curds were good, but most were mostly breading. We ordered the classic old fashioned, but received a traditional with muddled fruit. Still tasted good, but after explaining the mistake my 2nd one was amazing! I would still come back and try a different food option.“
