“We stopped there at about 630 pm on a Friday for fish fry. They accept reservations but we didn't make one and they were able to actually get us in pretty quick. Service was fast and friendly and fish was delicious! I would definitely recommend!“

“I really try to get to State Fair more than one time a year. We are close so sometimes we go just for dinner and music. There are too many things to see and way too many tasty things to try to eat. You can spend time listening to youth groups, finding out about farming, or chatting with an exhibitor about their products. Don't feel like it has to be a full day. Go for a cheap pancake breakfast, leave and come back later to see an artist play or try your hand at games. Have a seat in the Colosseum and watch judging for a shaded break. Shop for unique hand made gifts, or indulge in some fudge. It's always a great time rain or shine.“

A great spot to get outside and enjoy some drinks and nice weather. Tons of picnic tables outside and even some under cover. And lots of open areas for kids (or adults) to play.
Be sure to grab a pint glad and bring it back for reduced price refills.“

“It was casual, calm fun. I wasn't prepared for the difference in temperature there can be when the wind is off Lake Michigan. Check the weather before you go because there can be a big temperature change between the park and inland temps.“

“I'm happy this is in my neighborhood. The bartenders are friendly and the whole experience is great, especially when there is live music. I'll be sad when they close up at the end of September. I've been coming here 2-3 times a week. Prices are about the same as the surrounding bars, but the atmosphere at the beer garden is so much better than anything else around.“

“Sorry this review is so late. Two years ago I enjoyed a beer and pretzel at the beer garden with the beautiful Lake Michigan in the background. That’s when things changed! No more red lights. I couldn’t find a traffic jam! Did my laundry and found socks that had been lost for years. Enough about my good fortune. Get yourself to Juneau park and have a pint. Then brace yourself for the windfall of rewards the beer gods will send your way.“

“A great discovery while walking the riverwalk path, I was impress with the Pier Garden. Service was prompt and friendly, and atmosphere is great! The Slow & Low margarita delivered on taste but was a bit weak. The Hot Honey Prosciutto flatbread was amazing! Will definitely return to try more of the menu.“

“This is a must visit location in Milwaukee. The War Memorial Beer Garden has food from Kegels Inn and beer from Hofbrau Haus. When I visited they were also selling 4 packs of 200 yards brewed by Explorium Brewery. The 200 yards references the distance soldiers had to cross while under heavy fire on the beaches of Normandy. Don't forget to walk through the actual memorial which is impressive.“

“The only downside of this beer garden is that it is in a parking lot. Everything else is amazing! It's right on the river in downtown Milwaukee. Fairly priced craft beers on draft as well as other canned cocktails and seltzers. Local snacks for purchase, music, and yard games!“

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, maybe later in the night it could be more for adults than kids but when I visited in summer, around 7 on a weeknight there were a ton of kids playing“

“Third time to Milwaukee, first time to Third Space. Coming from Colorado I consider myself a bit of a beer snob. But I was surprised by the selection of tasty brews along with the warm and friendly space. Took my grandkids there, and they were happy too.

“We love Urban Harvest Brewing due to the family atmosphere as members of the mug club and all the events that involve the club and the general public (i.e. block parties and fundraisers). I absolutely love how owner Steve supports his community and organizations like the Wisconsin Humane Society and his patrons. Also as a retired Infection Control Practitioner, I am SO impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and especially how UHBC operated during COVID-19 pandemic ... nice job!“

“Came here a few weeks ago for dinner. We have been meaning to try it here and finally made a point to stop. My boyfriend and I shared sweet potato fries and das Brat. Wow! We were very impressed with the taste and quality. Everything that was being brought out around us looked amazing, as well. We wanted to try it all. Our bartender was super friendly too! The space is super cool, has a large bar, lots of tabletop seating and also outside seating area. We will definitely be back. The food here is far superior to anything you will get in Luxe golf bays, so if you are going there thinking you will get food, just save yourself some time/money and stop here first!“
