“Stopped in while shopping. Ordered a chai latte. The chai mix they use is not my favorite. The barisa did a good job, and was able to get me some extra foam and cinnamon. The seating area is spacious, but doesn't have that "authentic" coffee shop feel.

“The coffee and chai are excellent. The muffins are phenomenal. All of the staff members I have meet have been pleasant. I’ve been about a dozen times since they’ve opened and have not had a single problem. Really happy to have them in the community!“

“I recommend a visit to the Barn. I opened a new shop April 3rd of 2024 a month before the makers mart event in May of this year. What a wonderful opportunity for my new business to get introduced. It’s been a wonderful experience so far and my neighbors have been very welcoming. My new business is called MoeChic the barn shops which is located in the barn on the grounds of Stone wood Village. I’m so excited to be here and I’m loving it. Come visit the shop and meet myself and my greeter, Buddy who is my lovable Burnedoodle. The shop includes a gallery area with unique handmade items created by local artists. Another area is set up as a boutique with women’s clothing, handmade from a several countries purchase through fair trade, a shoe line and many accessories and jewelry. All handmade, artistic and cultural in fashion. And of course the upper level is layed out with vintage, re-purpose an upcycled items mixed with vintage and current artwork. “Amazing environment, beautiful thoughtfully curated decor, friendly staff, good prices. Decent selection of breakfast items. It smells like coffee right when you walk in, and they do brew it quite strong if you want.

“I tried 2 tasty warm items today a feta and spinach pastry and a chicken croquette. I would say these are some of the tastiest things I have tried in a long time. Flaky pastry with a buttery taste and a croquette with the chicken that was so flavorful! What a lovely place. They also offered other warm items, pastries and a lovely seating area and free internet. I will come again. Perfect for coffee, small groups, families or to do work on the computer.“

“First time here at the new location. I have been to Caribou Coffees before, but mainly in Minneapolis. I liked the inside lay out. Different areas for seating, and a well defined area for ordering. The staff were welcoming and helpful. I was interested in a special London Fog Latte. They did their best, but don't have Lavender Syrup. The drink could have used more foam (which I asked for), and was just "okay".

We sat outside on the patio. Unfortunately, it's pretty close to Capitol Drive which was busy and noisy.

There are plenty of other coffee shop choices that are better than this one.“

“Anodyne ended up being the perfect wedding venue for us. The rustic meets modern downtown coffee shop vibes were just what we were looking for. Let me tell you, this place is nice during the day, but at night this place comes alive with the string lights, moody mirrors, and classic radio wall. My husband and I took moments throughout the night to just around and admire the dreaminess of the venue. We received so many compliments about the bartenders and the venue coordinator Erica. The bartenders were super friendly and fast, and one of them even told us at the end of the night how much fun they had too! Erica was AMAZING to work with throughout the year and a half of planning. From the very first email to the last goodbye at the end of the wedding, she was the reason that everything ran so smoothly. We had multiple meetings with her leading up to the wedding, and she was helpful and accommodating every time. She told us that her goal was for us to enjoy our day and not sweat the small things, and that's exactly what she did! We held the ceremony and the reception there, and the transition after the ceremony was seamless and took less than ten minutes. Erica and her staff also set up all of our decor. We left the decor with her the day before the wedding, and when we walked up the stairs into Anodyne everything was set up the way we imagined it. No, better than we imagined! They went above and beyond, and we would highly recommend Anodyne if you're getting married in Milwaukee!“

“Greeted with smiles on our Saturday morning walk. Got two Shakeratos, one quad, one double. It was not overbearingly sweet, the espresso was the main part of the drink which we appreciate. I can't remember the exact name of what I ordered, but it had "gas station" in the title and it was a sausage breakfast sandwich with apricot jam and oh my lord, I had to ask a staff member if I could take a picture of the jam that they use so I could get some for myself.“

“I come multiple times a week for a reason. The coffee is excellent and the staff are great, but there are two small points that I love about Anodyne: 1) for espresso drinks to drink there you get a real cup not a paper one (good for the environment and for the vibe) and 2) 8 oz latte/cappuccino options (most places only sell 12 or 16 oz as the smallest- most times I just want a little coffee so this is perfect). Also the temperature of the coffee is always just right.

Everything about this one is fantastic,fresh and friendly staff !!! Bill-GM and his staff have wonderful customer service best location in the city ! I've never experienced such fresh food from panera like I have at this location ?.. yes they all have fresh food but for some reason this location has been extremely fresh and delicious, I'm a creature of habit so I get my coffee breakfast sandwich,blueberry muffin and if I'm in for lunch I grab a grilled cheese ,a tea and I bounce between 3 of the soups
Chicken with wild rice,chicken noodle or broccoli and cheese a choice that don't disappoint!!! And chocolate chip ? cookies are to die for - did I mention the coffee is always fresh and with the unlimited sip club membership you can have unlimited drinks of soda, hot coffee,ice coffee,hot or cold tea as well as lemonade...overall panera is a great place to sit and eat with the family or friends and just as peaceful to have a meeting!! It’s always civilized in there, everyone keeping their voices to a mellow decibel and the greenery all over in the living walls is over the top beautiful. In the summertime it’s gorgeous outside. Michael and his staff are always hospitable and polite and you feel like they’re family taking care of you. It’s a terrific little gem tucked away in a sweet spot. Go there for healthy ish eats but mostly go because it feeds your soul.“

Ordering was easy, communication was open & our order was beyond perfect. We ordered the biggest breakfast charcuterie board which was a huge hit with all the varieties of baked goods, & fun layout. The variety of mini quiches were delicious & the perfect portion sizes for a buffet style brunch. Also easy to serve. Cheesy potatoes & the French toast bake were so good I wish I ordered more for leftovers. Not a crumb was left behind. We will absolutely be going to & catering with Green Baked Goods again. 10/10 recommend this family owned business. “The baked goods and sandwiches are so tasty. I love the cranberry pumpkin muffin with sportea. This location is where they roast coffee, and it can be very loud. The covered porch is quieter, and the courtyard is a magical space when the weather is nice.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to get up to the front door. It has a bend/corner to not be too steep when I've used it with a stroller. I am not a wheelchair user, so I can only say it works well for a stroller. There is a designated space for the line to the cash register that is like a wide hallway. This wide section continues in a loop past the side door to the porch to the front door. The door on the porch that faces Humboldt leads back to the ramp, but does not have a door opener, so it may be hard to use. The other door leading to the courtyard will take you to stairs and no ramp. The courtyard is accessible from the sidewalk outside, and this is likely the easiest way to enter. In general, there are wide pathways, but in-between tables is less spacious.“
