“I now come here almost daily. They have the best espresso in Milwaukee and I drink their Americano black. I changed it up today and got a pumpkin spice latte, and it came out SO PRETTY!

Lake Effect is separate from the church but they do partner with others in the community including a Macha pop up, and they even allowed me to do a little pop up to celebrate AAC awareness month!

I can't forget to mention their awesome bakery, with some muffins and cookies baked in house and their tasty treats from City Market and Carries Crispies!“

“This place is awesome! They have a good seating area, nice & clean, and the barista who made our drinks made them so well. The barista was also clearly a very hard worker and doing a lot, and that shows in the way the store looks and feels. I work at a different Caribou in MN and am hard to impress but this one was amazing. Nice work! <3“

“I recommend a visit to the Barn. I opened a new shop April 3rd of 2024 a month before the makers mart event in May of this year. What a wonderful opportunity for my new business to get introduced. It’s been a wonderful experience so far and my neighbors have been very welcoming. My new business is called MoeChic the barn shops which is located in the barn on the grounds of Stone wood Village. I’m so excited to be here and I’m loving it. Come visit the shop and meet myself and my greeter, Buddy who is my lovable Burnedoodle. The shop includes a gallery area with unique handmade items created by local artists. Another area is set up as a boutique with women’s clothing, handmade from a several countries purchase through fair trade, a shoe line and many accessories and jewelry. All handmade, artistic and cultural in fashion. And of course the upper level is layed out with vintage, re-purpose an upcycled items mixed with vintage and current artwork. “You can tell that as much thought and care went into crafting the ambiance and space as there was in crafting the coffee. I've never been in a coffee shop as warm, inviting and cozy as this. Immediately upon entering there is a wheelchair lift to make the space accessible for everyone. The scent from the wood burning fire and various coffees is absolutely heavenly. This is someplace you'd like to settle into for the morning. If you're just passing through and loved their coffee, you can get it shipped to your house from their website at a very reasonable price.“

“I tried 2 tasty warm items today a feta and spinach pastry and a chicken croquette. I would say these are some of the tastiest things I have tried in a long time. Flaky pastry with a buttery taste and a croquette with the chicken that was so flavorful! What a lovely place. They also offered other warm items, pastries and a lovely seating area and free internet. I will come again. Perfect for coffee, small groups, families or to do work on the computer.“

“Stopped in one weekday morning for a hot beverage and some bakery. It's part of a larger building with large windows on the front. There are a couple of basic small café tables out front. Inside is a large space that is brightly lit through the plate glass windows. There are tables set up throughout, mainly for couples, but they could be combined for larger groups. There are also stools at the counter for seating.

There wasn’t anyone else in the place when I arrived, so it was very quiet. Got greeted by the friendly cashier/barista. I wanted to get a London Fog Tea Latte, but they were out of Earl Grey, so I ordered a Chai Latte instead. They didn’t have a scone, but the cinnamon roll with icing looked pretty good too. Offered to warm it up, and I said definitely yes.

It took a few minutes for the drink to be ready, which means they let the tea steep properly. When it got delivered to my table, I was pleasantly surprised by the latte art in the foam. I have never had a barista give me that special treatment and was thankful. The cinnamon roll was warm, gooey, and delicious.

Definitely a place that I would return to.“

“Stopped at another Triple D place. Comet's Cafe is in downtown Milwaukee. If you weren't looking for it, you might miss it. For drinks, we ordered the East Side of Manhattan and the Sage thyme daiquiri. The drinks were nice and strong. We shared a Comet club on sourdough, fries, and a side of bacon. The sandwich was just a sandwich, but we really liked the fries and bacon. Our server was nice and attentive.“

“Run, don't walk! Go visit Stone Creek Coffee! Go for the coffee and atmosphere, stay for the FOOD MENU. I'm from out of town and had no particular expectations for this place... When I went up to order, my eyes wandered to the pastry case, then to the egg sandwich board, then to the yogurt bowls - and it just kept getting hotter along the way!! The offerings were creative, savory, sweet, healthy and fulfilling.... No regular breakfast sammie here: how about toasted bread with egg, butternut squash, brown sage butter sauce, and bacon crumbles?! mmm“

“First time here at the new location. I have been to Caribou Coffees before, but mainly in Minneapolis. I liked the inside lay out. Different areas for seating, and a well defined area for ordering. The staff were welcoming and helpful. I was interested in a special London Fog Latte. They did their best, but don't have Lavender Syrup. The drink could have used more foam (which I asked for), and was just "okay".

We sat outside on the patio. Unfortunately, it's pretty close to Capitol Drive which was busy and noisy.

There are plenty of other coffee shop choices that are better than this one.“

“Anodyne ended up being the perfect wedding venue for us. The rustic meets modern downtown coffee shop vibes were just what we were looking for. Let me tell you, this place is nice during the day, but at night this place comes alive with the string lights, moody mirrors, and classic radio wall. My husband and I took moments throughout the night to just around and admire the dreaminess of the venue. We received so many compliments about the bartenders and the venue coordinator Erica. The bartenders were super friendly and fast, and one of them even told us at the end of the night how much fun they had too! Erica was AMAZING to work with throughout the year and a half of planning. From the very first email to the last goodbye at the end of the wedding, she was the reason that everything ran so smoothly. We had multiple meetings with her leading up to the wedding, and she was helpful and accommodating every time. She told us that her goal was for us to enjoy our day and not sweat the small things, and that's exactly what she did! We held the ceremony and the reception there, and the transition after the ceremony was seamless and took less than ten minutes. Erica and her staff also set up all of our decor. We left the decor with her the day before the wedding, and when we walked up the stairs into Anodyne everything was set up the way we imagined it. No, better than we imagined! They went above and beyond, and we would highly recommend Anodyne if you're getting married in Milwaukee!“

“5 ⭐️ Can’t believe we finally got around to trying Miss Molly’s this past Sunday. It’s only a ten minute walk from our house. To say the least, we were very pleased! Tried a number of different breakfast items (including French toast, yogurt/fruit, breakfast sandwiches and muffins). Each one was delicious. Service was friendly and quick for how busy they were. Kinship Cafe has exceptional food. My go to is the Southwest Veggie Bowl with extra roasted sweet potatoes. The tangy, creamy, and spicy sauces for the salad are bursting with flavor, yet they don't overpower the tastes of the bowl ingredients.

“I stopped in after running the Veteran’s Day 5K downtown, expecting to grab a quick coffee and head home — but this Stone Creek location completely surprised me in the best way.

I used to live on the East Side and thought I already knew Stone Creek well… but this Whitefish Bay café is on another level. The energy, the layout, the bakery selection, the buzz of people laughing and chatting — it felt like walking into a celebration of community.

My coffee was perfection. My food was unique and delicious. And the people-watching? Soul-filling. Every table had a story, and it was such a joy to slow down and take it all in.

Ordering was easy, communication was open & our order was beyond perfect. We ordered the biggest breakfast charcuterie board which was a huge hit with all the varieties of baked goods, & fun layout. The variety of mini quiches were delicious & the perfect portion sizes for a buffet style brunch. Also easy to serve. Cheesy potatoes & the French toast bake were so good I wish I ordered more for leftovers. Not a crumb was left behind. We will absolutely be going to & catering with Green Baked Goods again. 10/10 recommend this family owned business.
