“This was our 1st. time here and it certainly didn't disappoint! Atmosphere was really nice, cozy but still fun. Our waitress Eliza was super, checking on us but never pushy. She gave us some great recommendations that were absolutely delicious. We started with sharing a cup of corn and crab chowder, beet and goat cheese salad and sautéed crawfish with crossttini. Everything was fantastic, not to spicy hot just seasoned well. Main course was also great, steak and mashed potatoes....super tender and juicy steak came out exactly like we ordered...perfect meduim rare. That doesn't happen often. Also had the blacken salmon with asparagus and beans and rice. Again can't say enough it was delicious. Then to top the evening off we shared the beneignts with a fruit sauce. YUMMY Kudos to you all the chef and waite staff and Eliza for a great dining experience.“

“The pork chop was excellent! I liked that it was served with Gnocchi and not rice or a normally cooked potato. I sampled a bourbon drink and it was so good. Too much sugar if you have diabetes like my partner. Haha“

“My wife and I stopped in for dinner. We’re on a weekend getaway. My wife ordered the Salmon 🍣 and I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. Service was surperb! Atmosphere was great! The background music was awesome and the volume was not overpowering. The food was wicked awesome! When we’re back in town we’re definitely going back!“

“The food on today was good except the dressing It was very dry; it was inedible. My one complaint about this restaurant is they never get your order right. And the female cashier this evening around 4 pm 022625 was unfriendly; when I told her that I didn’t get my muffin , soda and extra piece of fish. Bad customer service makes me not want to eat the food.“

“We had a few drinks and some fried snacks. The food and atmosphere and great. We also took a pie making class with Valeri in the back pie making kitchen. The class was supper fun. She is an excellent teacher and very knowledgeable. We made strawberry rhubarb pie and it turned out excellent. Valeri really ran a great class and made it fun and informative.“

“I had a catfish sandwich the other day and… The bread was toasted just right with butter on both sides. The onions, lettuce and tomato was perfectly crispy. And the fish was fried to perfection with a tasteful crust. I opened it up and gave it perfect sprinkles of hot sauce to top it off. First to last bite was heaven on earth.“

“Doc's is the best smoked meat in Milwaukee. The portions are satisfying. They have 4+types of sauces. The fries are seasoned just right!! I had a hiccup on a take out order and I called to let them know. The manager was courteous respectful and made it right on another visit. I love the fried pickles. “I had sworn off of JJ's Chicken after my last experience but this new location for me is fantastic! The chicken is not oily. The meal was ready when we arrived. The fries were crispy just like I like them! You have a new customer with us.
