“Best taco truck I have ever visited. They are really friendly and the tacos are super good. It’s only like about $8 for 3 tacos which is pretty reasonable. The only thing is I wish they had an option for a spicier hot sauce. Like I am talking very spicy. Super good tho.“
“They knew two than three. The al pastor tacos did not have much flavor. But they were $1 on Tuesdays. The tacos were ok. They didn't really have much flavor, ordered the Al pastor tacos since they were $1 a taco on Tuesday. Good filler though.“
“This was our first time trying Braun’s Power House. We ordered a couple fish fry’s to go and were not disappointed! The food was excellent, 3 good size pieces of fried cod, delicious batter and flavor on the cod, great fries, great tarter and coleslaw. I wouldn’t hesitate to grab a fish fry from here again!“
“First time trying this taco truck and it was AMAZING. Steak tacos, rice, Mexican corn all of them were fresh and cooked perfect. You can pay with cash or card and I only waited a couple minutes for my food, they have buzzers to call you back to the pickup window. The man working was extremely kind and had a good attitude. Will definitely be back again!“
“My fiancée has been bugging me to go to this place. I finally went without him and went with my best friend instead ?It was amazing. Great service, great service and the fried ice cream was fire. I really liked the food menu options as well.“
“We saw all of the great reviews & decided to check it out. Laid back corner pub with the famous Stephanie and Nicole running the show. Fish fry was fantastic. Stop in and say hi, order some food, shoot some pool and of course have an adult beverage or two. Great to see they are big supporters of veterans.“
“Despite this being one of our favorite dinner options, I realize now I've never actually reviewed them (outside of the brunch pop-up, which I still think should be a permanent on their menu). We went on the Saturday evening of St. Patrick's Day and it was jam packed! Fortunately it wasn't too long of a wait for a table. The back patio was open, but it seems they are no longer allowed to have heating elements back there, so on a chilly day, you will definitely feel it. They do have some blankets you can borrow if you choose to mingle in the patio. I got their gin and jam drink called Rude Barb and my husband got their Old Fashioned. The Old Fashioned was on the sweeter side, which he loved. My gin and rhubarb jam cocktail was out of this world! It was definitely a spring cocktail, which made me forget about the very much not spring weather outside. Between the two of us, we shared the buffalo cauliflower, the Brussels sprouts, and the produce root fries. The buffalo cauliflower is top tier. The buffalo sauce is incredible and the blue cheese dip it comes with gives it a really nice tang. The Brussels sprouts will make any vegetable hater double think their choices. It's piled high and seems endless, which is great because it will leave you coming back for more. The root fries were a new for us and it might be a new favorite. Each fry was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We chose to get it with a side of cilantro crema and it worked beautifully. I would highly recommend this dish! There are also different board and card games available for you to borrow while you drink and/or dine. It's always a good time here!“
“Love this place- the food, the vibe, everything. Anytime Arepa is consistently amazing. The cocktails at the bar are good. This is a monthly summertime destination for us, but we still stop and pick up food to go in the colder months.Dietary restrictions: Anytime Arepa is a mostly gluten free truck. They have delicious vegetarian options as well. A few of the other trucks have vegetarian options as well.“
“A nice convenient taco truck PAY WITH CASH ONLYReally excellent service and excellent portions as well, the food was delicious and exactly the taste of Mexico when you’re missing home. Authentic and run efficiently. But be sure to bring cash beforehand, the ATM near the gas station had a single 20$ and charged a 2.75$ service fee.“
“Best taco truck around. Food is always delicious, hot and fresh! Today I got 2 amazing tacos for less than $6 which they can do Mexican or American style. They give you 2 different kinds of salsa and a couple limes. You can order over phone or walk up. They also have tons of other food options and are very friendly.Parking: Parking is street only but free and they are just across the sidewalk.“
“The BEST birria tacos in Milwaukee hands down. I’ve tried just about everywhere and no other place stands a chance. Atmosphere is great music is too low or too loud. If you need or want something a simple look at your server and they’ll come right over. Prices for the amount of food is absolutely killer. Everything I’ve ever order from Lazo’s is full full full of flavor. If you’re visiting Milwaukee or live here, you definitely should come check Lazo’s Tacos out. Seeing door dashers come in and out without waiting for more than 5 minutes is also a great sign they are doing something correct.“
“Hands down some of the best tacos in Milwaukee,Wi. Everything Fresh made to order! Love the staff who remain consistent and very detailed to your specific order. Come with cash they are cash only so be prepared! Trust me you won’t be disappointed! Get a mini taco dinner for me! Can you say ? yum!!!“
“They brought their truck to our wedding venue for a late night snack and provided tacos and churros for about 175 guests. Alex was easy to work with and was very good with communication during the entire process. The food was awesome and all of the guests left happy. Have been to the food truck on a few other occasions and have always had great food!“
“Paloma is not only my favorite Mexican restaurant in Milwaukee, it also has incredible value for the food itself. The service is awesome. If there is a wait, which there most certainly will be because of good the food is, the hostess will offer you a drink to enjoy. The atmosphere is fantastic. It's not like all the new Mexican restaurants in Milwaukee where you can tell they just throw everything on top of a tortilla that has been made for the last 3 hours. Everything is authentic and made to order. I love Paloma and can't wait for their new location in Bay View to open as well.“
“Best taco truck I been to; everything about it was lively. What started as a quick gas station stop filled with wonder ended in us going back for dinner. Whenever you have time on your schedule, make time for this truck and the food will make its way to your heart.03.12.2024“
“An extension of Ventura's tacos physical store, this truck is definitely A Tier Mexican food in Milwaukee and if you see it stop and give them a try. You won't be disappointed except for the fact you should have stopped before.Food is really good especially their tacos and chips and their burritos are large and in charge. Get one suizo.“

“I have never ordered something I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. I think I've tried every taco truck in bayview now and this place always brings me back. The staff is kind and service is quick. The food is flavored perfect, I can't think of a complaint.“
“Recently discovered this restaurant. It is absolutely delicious—generous portions, more than fair prices. I must say, out of all the Mexican restaurants I've visited, this is the best! Don't know how you do it, but keep it up. Will be back often!“
“Simple vibe, fresh ingredients, and well prepared food. You can't go wrong! We stopped for a quick couple of tacos for lunch and this place didn't disappoint. Our order was ready really fast, I don't think we even waited a full 10 mins. Chicken and Al pastor tacos were super flavorful. The guac was amazing. Would definitely come back.“
“Looking for a quick place to eat? How about a place with reasonable prices. Authentic Mexican dishes all spiced just right. I unfortunately speak no Spanish, but the employees working helped to figure out what I was asking for (a side of sauce they use on a specific dish). Everyone was so nice and I had so much food, I had lunch for the next day. The steak was very tender and juicy. The enchiladas were smothered in sauce (the way it should be). Heads up, they currently do not have alcohol but they do have Jarritos soda!“
“All the Milwaukee Mexican food trucks are good, this one offers asada alambre which I highly recommend. Quite a few offerings you don't see all the time. Cash only still. Don't be intimidated if you see lots of people in line or waiting, they are rightfully popular but I've never waited that long to eat. Generous portions, reasonably priced.“
“This place did not disappoint! My husband suggested we stop in for some taco on Taco Tuesday and it was delicious! We stopped in the dining area and we were able to order from a kiosk. There were a couple kiosks to order from so you didn't feel too bad taking your time deciding what to get.We got some chips and salsa and cheese, chicken taco Tuesday special, and a chicken burrito combo. The burrito was massive filled with delicious rice and beans and juicy chicken. The tacos came with a generous helping of cilantro and onions and some moderately spicy salsa and the same juicy chicken. Yum! The cheese with the chips is your standard nacho cheese so we mixed it with some salsa to make it more of a queso. The restaurant/dining are was clean and had someone wiping down tables as people left. There was also a digital board showing which order number was ready, helpful if you couldn't hear them, and you also received a text when it was ready. Overall, great place to grab some mexican food, we'll be back to try the birria and more!“
“Kompali Tacos y Tortas is a gem of a spot operating out of the 3rd Street Market Hall. After an Admirals game recently, we stopped by the 3rd Street Market Hall for some dinner. After wandering around and perusing all the vendors, we opted for Kompali Tacos y Tortas. I ordered the veggie burrito and my date and I got an order of their guacamole to share. The burrito was packed with mexican rice, black beans, avocado, and veggies. It was hearty and tasty! The guacamole was fresh and tasty as well. The service was friendly and efficient. You order at the counter and if you're dining in the Market Hall, they'll give you a buzzer for when your order is ready. Also worth noting, we didn't realize it when we ordered but there are QR codes on every table and you can easily order right from a table in the Market. You can even order from multiple vendors and have it on one tab. They make it easy peasy. There's plenty of comfortable table seating throughout the market so dining in is an easy option (though, the market is typically bustling so it's not a necessarily quiet meal--but we enjoyed well enough!). Get to it!“

“Some of the best tacos I've had in Milwaukee! It's a permanent food truck outside of Boone and Crockett. The views are amazing of the river, you even get a great view of the Hoen Bridge. The pork taco was great, but definitely needed to add salsa. I highly recommend the mushroom taco. The double shell is definitely needed for how stuffed they are!“
“At Layman's you can count on a few things:1) that you'll be personally welcomed when you come in2) a smash burger day-dreams are made of3) excellent service and a team that really gives a hoot about what they doMy husband and I are proud to call ourselves regulars at Layman's and are so grateful to have this in our West Allis neighborhood.“
