“Cozy, warm atmosphere, friendly attentive service, and the food is amazing: creative choices, mouthwateringly delicious, and visually pretty (see pics). The Tonkatsu Ramen had a very tasty broth. The Bluefin Tataki had a complex blend of flavors (citrus, spicy, sweet) and textures which make me want to try it again next time.(We had to wait for a table, and gave our cell # to the hostess - unfortunately she had the wrong number, but fortunately she saw we were parked in front and came out to our car to get us! A pleasant surprise.)The restroom was clean, and smelled nice, and had humorous posters on the wall.“
“We sat at the bar, and we had such a great experience. I wish I could remember the bartender’s name! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and made some great suggestions. She really cared that we liked and enjoyed our meal. I had the seafood ramen and my wife had garlic fried rice. We started with the cauliflower app and the pork dumplings. The food was fantastic. We will be back for sure. Great Job!“
“The ramen was delicious. I give that 5 stars. But the wings were disappointing. Tiniest things I've ever been served. Barely any meat. I won't order those again... But the ramen was so good, I'll go back again for that.Wish there was more parking. Had to walk quite a distance from my parking spot to get there.“
“I honestly love their Fresh fruit smoothie with tapioca boba. They have the best Crab Rangoon I have had to date.Their menu and place does need some work. I really want this place to do well. I have come here occasionally for over 10 years. I would love them to get to their next level for dining and cuisine.I think they could do well if they made more things from scratch that were signature dishes. Stay Fresh, that’s what keeps me coming back. Homemade tapioca boba taste the best.“
“This review is wwaaayyyy overdue. Been eating here or getting delivery from here for many years. I’ve tried tons of things on the menu and all are fantastic but I just tried the Khaosoy for the first time and it is seriously the best thing I’ve ever eaten. If you love Thai coconut curry try it. Thanks Rice and Roll for all the great food over the years!!“
“What an intimate first impression! We were greeted by the entire staff upon arrival, such a warm regards for complete strangers. Our server was so helpful with her recommendations. As for the atmosphere - so clean! Very pleasant instrumental music played without drowning out our conversation - hate loud music. The sushi tasted so fresh, we'll be back“
“So happy to have good asian food in oak creek!I ordered takout for lunch today - pork lo mein and gyoza. Both were delicious and large portions, so I will probably get two lunches out of this. The staff were friendly and the food was ready when they said it would be. I will definitely be back!“
“This is the best Asian restaurant in Milwaukee! I have now ordered from here multiple times and each time the employees go above and beyond to ensure great service. I love that the restaurant has its own delivery service that is so speedy! The staff is so friendly and the food is always delicious!“
“Thrilled to discover this delicious sushi restaurant accessible by public transport! The location was BEAUTIFUL- our table was right next to the river with a view of the third ward. Our server kept checking in on us and refilling our water. As a Californian conscious about the climate impacts of fish and meat, I usually eat vegetarian but was overjoyed to see that Screaming Tuna serves Monterrey Bay Aquarium certified sustainable seafood which is such a rare find in the Midwest.Screaming tuna had the best sushi I’ve had since moving to the Midwest! Rice was perfectly cooked and fish was flavorful (enough). Highly recommend. Such a fun and delicious experience!Vegetarian options: All vegetarian items on the menu are specifically labeled. Loved to see it!“
“$18 during lunch for unlimited appetizers & rolls, plus a dessert included. Fast and courteous service, and you can order multiple times.Only thing to watch for is you do get charged a small fee for uneaten food to cut down on waste and over-ordering, but I haven't had to pay that fee yet and I always leave full.Love this place and can't wait to go back again!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian friendly rolls and appetizers available, including a few unique rolls with toppings like egg, tofu, and mango.“
“Food was tasty and fresh. I loved it so much I ordered another bowl to go. I wouldn't bother with the drinks though. Just get the food.Parking: Parking is very limited and hard to get. I had to walk 3 blocks away. If you get luck there is like parking enough to fit like 5 to 6 cars by them.“
“Our family loves this restaurant so much. We love being greeted every time we come with Michelle’s wonderful smile too. The food has always been amazing and never disappoints. It’s always a work of art too.Our dinner tonight was amazing as always and beautiful!! Thank you.“
“I absolutely love Jin’s and recommend it to friends all the time for the all you can eat sushi. It is by far the best place. The fish tastes so fresh. I do warn most of the times I have gone it has been chilly inside so just prepare. The waiters are also so friendly and kind.Parking: Parking depends on the time of day you go which later at night gets more crowded and less parking.“
“It was very clean and friendlyVegetarian options: I enjoyed tofu hibachiDietary restrictions: Let the server know what I was allergic to, and they did as I askedKid-friendliness: They seem to enjoy having kids at the hibachi tablesWheelchair accessibility: They make it easy for you to enter and by the tables and hibachi tables too“
“Excellent spot in the upscale food court. Ramen was chicken broth , very balanced and flavorful. Hellfire very spicy had great depth not just spice overload. Miso egg was the best thing I’ve eaten in a long time. Also had the poke bowl w/ tuna , good quality and excellent marinade and presentation. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable.“
“The Tonkotsu ramen is to die for! And it's so nice to visit the Crossroads location while the main shop is closed. My only complaint is that when you request something added to your ramen, they almost always forget it or confuse it with something else. But the food is so good that it really doesn't matter!“
“We drive over an hour for date night here from fond du lac. We love all the food that never disappoints. If you are looking for a mostly Asian buffet, I highly recommend Lovers Lane. The food is always hot, fresh, never empty and always tasty.“
“We have been here numerous times. I'm surprised I have not left a review until now. Super friendly staff, great choices, everything has been so yummy. They even have a drive through!Dietary restrictions: They do have a gluten free Pho Soup.“
“I’ve been ordering from Wasabi for the last 4 years and my food has been so good every time. I usually order online and pick it up, always on time, always quick. Anna and Jay especially are the absolute best Vegetarian options: The sweet potato roll with cream cheese and the tempura veggies appetizer are my favorite.“
“This is a gem of find. Food is delicious and service is impressive. It was the trifecta of Bao buns, dumplings, and sushi. The bbq Bao buns were delicious and moist. The steam and pan fried dumplings had a fresh and flavorful filling. The sushi was also on point. This is the 1st time I've experience such great quality in all those dishes in one place. I'm already planning my next visit.“
“This place has one of the more interesting rolls that I have seen in my life. They call it the monkey roll and it has banana in it. I really recommend trying that roll as I enjoyed it the most out of everything I got there. Besides that this is a very average sushi place.“
“5-star ratings should be by definition hard to obtain. We'll give Kanpai a 4+. The sushi varietals were outstanding, service was very good, enjoyable contemporary ambience, and noise level was moderate. Pricing was a bit high, as we've come to expect in the Third Ward. Kanpai is a little short on red wine selections. There's a perfect space on the menu for one or two red blends. We'll be back!“
“Matthew is THE best server. The Snow White roll is our favorite. Great specials before 7pm. Their House White wine is surprisingly really good! Authentic hot green tea. Kids love the Japanese sodas. Their ginger salad dressing is so good, we regularly buy a quart of it to go. Great lunch specials during the week. Recent remodel/expansion made the atmosphere less cozy and warm. I hope they dim the lighting to help with this.“
“I'm particular about sushi, and this place didn't disappoint. So tasty! I'd recommend over a lot of other sushi places. I'll definitely be going back.Parking: I had to park down the street and around the corner, but the food was worth it.“
“Fresh Fin has wonderful fresh ingredients and provides a satisfying lunch for poke, which I recently had the pleasure of eating. Every taste clearly reveals how fresh the ingredients are. The fish was perfectly fresh, delicate, and succulent, which is essential for a poke meal. Individual preferences might be catered for by creating a unique flavor profile using the selection of toppings and sauces. The service was great and ambiance of the small restaurant is open and welcoming. I was very close to climbing the ropes at the entryway. Fresh Poke, however, lacked a little in a few crucial areas. The inability to discern between the regular and large portion sizes. Fresh Fin is still a top-notch poke restaurant. It is a respectable option for poke lovers due to the high quality of the ingredients and the flavors offered.“
“Very hip space and friendly staff. It was easy to get a spot here for a weekday lunch, though I could imagine it gets busy for dinner. The moo ping (pork skewers) came recommended and were delicious, perfect texture and very tender meat. The Bermuda Triangle roll was very good though had a bit too much sauce. They have a kids menu with meals for only $6 and daily specials, including half off select bottles of wine on Wednesdays. Overall highly recommend and look forward to coming back!“
“We live nearby and haven't found a Chinese restaurant that we liked- until we tried delivery from this place last night! Quick delivery, reasonable prices. The house egg roll was one of the best I've had! We also enjoyed their shrimp fried rice, general tso's chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. We will be back- so happy to have found our new favorite place!“
“Food was amazing, prices were fair, & service was great! Loved everything about this place! So glad we found it, will defiantly be back. Thanks guys!Parking: We had no problem with finding a parking spot.Kid-friendliness: Cook was great with my daughter, she had a blast!“
“I'll be honest. It seems the better a restaurant is doing, the more attitude they throw at customers. As awesome as the food is at Dumpling House, the service is getting less friendly. The Wonton soup is absolutely fantastic, but it seemed the server was put out by our just being there. Now, granted, it seemed that two people were running the place on a Saturday night, but that's not the customer's fault. Be a little friendlier, and customers will be a lot more understanding. Again. The food is great, they need help with service.“
“I was meeting my hard of hearing mother and son for a lunch out. I did show up 10 minutes late so my family was already waiting on me. As soon as I sat down she was trying to collect menus before I could have even looked at the lunch options. She even took the drink menu before I could order some tea and wasn't even offered a water. When she was confirming orders she snapped at my son when he was trying to translate for my hard of hearing mother. I'm sure the other couple at the table was frustrated as well but they where very nice asking questions to distract my son from the awkwardness of basically being told zip it. I wish all the tip went to the hibachi chef, he deserved it. He was very nice even noticing my son struggling with his chopsticks (something he was so excited to teach himself) and offering him the kids chop sticks while he was cooking. It seems he took more initiative and she took more of the tip. We will definitely be back but I hope it will be with a different server.Kid-friendliness: Server was rude to my son. She was very short and snappy when he was trying to translate for my hard of hearing mother. The hibachi chef had to get him kids chopsticks. He was very nice and showed more initiative than she did and I'm sure she's the one that gets the tip. I wish he had gotten all of it.“
“My favorite sushi in Milwaukee (Maybe even anywhere)! Who knew amazing sushi could come from a food truck? My husband & I absolutely love it here. The Brewers sushi burritos, Dragon rolls, Dumplings, Spicy Tuna & boba tea are my favs, but really everything on the menu is great.I'm also very picky with seaweed wraps, because some places have hard to chew & overly textured. I don't have that problem at Modern Maki! Their shrimp is always so tasty & crispy in the Dragon rolls, that it could be one of my favorite shrimps ever. But probably my absolute favorite thing about this place is the rice in the sushi! It's always made for perfection. So soft & magnificent.I highly recommend!“
“Ordered the Yuzu chicken ramen and was pleasantly surprised. I did not expect the grand amount of fantastic flavor that was packed into this ramen. Staff was friendly and the food came to us right away. Located in the 3rd street market hall, there is plenty to see and do. Highly recommend.“
“I love this place. Having moved to the area not too long ago I was missing good Asian cuisine from my hometown and this was the first place I tried. It has been a hit time after time. I’ve had it like 6 times now, trying different things and it is so good. The portions are INCREDIBLE and the price is the best.“
“i love luckys!! the online ordering on their webpage is so easy, and they have a great menu selection. i don’t think i have tried something i didn’t like from this place, and i’ve been going for years! plus, the staff is so kind and friendly. highly recommend.“
“This place is a hidden gem. Today was my first time eating at Nana and it was AMAZING. The island delight roll sure was a delight. Everything about it was fresh and beautiful. It melted on my tongue like butter, which is something I always look for in sushi. I LOVE THIS PLACE & I WILL BE BACK. Great service as well & very kind staff #havanaooonana“
“One of the best stops for lunch to go / pick up in the 3rd ward area downtown. The lunch specials are a good go-to. You can get one or two entrees. It’s been my go to, but today I did notice the price was $3 more than what was marketed on their chalkboard.Grab a meal to go, stay at their bar, or take it upstairs. You can park in the public market and get a free 1 hour voucher as long as you save your receipt.“
“9 out of 10 times the food is absolutely incredible. Only had poor food quality twice. Egg food young smelt and tasted funky couldn't finish and had a sushi roll get alittle burnt from deep fryer( godzilla roll) but I ate it since it's one of my favorites. But packer roll is ? my number 1 pick.“
“Fantastic sushi & service! We were watching the last couple minutes of NCAA Tournament on our phone Northwestern vs FAU. They asked who we were cheering for. Surprised us with this awesome artwork with our sushi! Will definitely be back!“
