“Moka on East wash is the best coffee shop in Madison. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. The matcha is what i get every time and its always amazing and delicious. “I've been a long time customer here (15+ years). Besides the beauty of mixing Gelato with espresso (order the Javalatto people), my favorite thing is the environment. I love seeing the long term staff, and the owner, who I've seen throughout my time as a customer. Most of all, I love that they ALWAYS make me happier, especially on days I'm having those rough mornings. I really try to go in on those days I know are gonna be long. Between my delicious caffeine boost, and their warm welcomes, they always start my morning off better. Thank-you to Renee and all of the Java Cat staff for the morning pick me ups.“

“I can't explain how wonderful this place is. The staff are tea wizards and so knowledgeable. The products, tea and tea related, are high quality and creative. The drinks are divine, the vibes immaculate. Go here and spend a day with a pot of tea and then get a Boba to go.“

“I like MOKA. I mainly visit the East Towne Mall location because it's convenient for me. There is always going to be something bad and good about a coffee place. Prices are too high..a drink isn't made to my satisfaction..the Baristas are rude..etc. In my opinion if you are just going to complain about everything don't go out. Every coffee place does their best to interpret how specific someone wants their order to be. Every place does their best to be as pleasant as they can be given some of the rude customers that come through and do nothing but complain about this and that and take no accountability for maybe placing and order incorrectly and blame it elsewhere. Some of the stories I have heard about some customers makes me really wonder what world they live in by their actions. On the flip side I have heard stories of how staff can be towards customers. It works both ways. I purposefully visit the East Towne Mall location because I love the staff and their energy and personalities. All my visits are positive experiences. Love the drinks; especially the seasonal ones they come up with. Maybe once in a while a drink is off or not as I would like it but I am not a picky person and maybe it's just not my taste. I will drink it and tweak it next time or not order it. I have my go-to drinks that I really like and usually stick with. To me coffee is an art and everyone's is different; some alot more complicated than others but that's okay. To me the more complicated it is the more that can be off but to each their own. I love MOKA and especially this location. They try their best and have great personalities that make me want to visit their location. That is good enough for me.“

“My first time here, I thought to myself, “Wow, this is the best mocha I’ve ever had” - and then I had to laugh at myself because the place is quite literally called MOKA. Its pricing is comparable to Starbucks and is a fun place to stop when I’m in the mood for a treat. Also love that they have Madison Sourdough goodies available! The only downside is there isn’t a ton of room for parking, especially when the drive thru is busy.“

“Grace is the perfect coffee shop right in downtown Waunakee. The decor is incredible and perfectly on par with other Grace locations. The staff at Grace greet you as you come in and are eager to take your order. The environment provides a place to work or catch up with a friend. There is both indoor and outdoor seating with options for plugging in a laptop or relaxing in the comfy seats. Grace has become one of my favorite local coffee shops and I love that I can count on the great food, coffee, and service at all Grace locations.“

“I absolutely love Rotunda coffee and their private rooms that can be reserved for meetings. The staff is always pleasant, even though they are usually one person doing everything! - it's pretty amazing. The coffee is on point, and the teas. I love the affordable handmade earrings for sale! And the high ceilings but classic style of the space takes me out of Madison for a moment and makes this a perfect place to settle in when the days are short, it's cold, and the Midwest winter moves in.“

“My partner and I were by Batch Bakehouse yesterday and are new to the area, so decided to stop in. It was the end of the day, so immediately the employees were apologetic about the "limited amount of items available". There were PLENTY of items available and every one of them was absolutely delicious. We were able to try their butterscotch chocolate chip bars, salted caramel brownies, and two of their cupcake flavors. We are typically not dessert people, but absolutely cannot wait to return, due to the unparalleled baked goods and the exceptional customer service! I wish I had gotten the names of the people who helped us, so whoever was there at 1 PM yesterday thank you!!“

“The lady said that she is 80 years old but she looks about 60 to me. She is super friendly and prepared a cup of ginseng tea with other herb to me, during the time she introduced ginseng products to me. There are many different kinds of ginseng products including completed root. I only brought 10 bags of 8 oz ginseng small root. Recommended“

“Great spot - good wifi and nice atmosphere, great coffee drinks! Kid and family friendly, there were cute kids in there just playing a little while their parents chatted and enjoyed coffee. Good cafe to get some work done, that is why we were there, just wanted a not-too-quiet spot.“

“I have only visited the Sun Prairie location since October 2023. My go-to is the breakfast sandwich and my son, who is very particular about his French Toast, says it's his absolute favorite. I'm not a coffee drinker but their Chai is my favorite when I'm out and about. Don't forget to ask for the cheesy potatoes!“

“Fair Trade coffee is excellent! I often go there after the Saturday morning Mass from Holy Redeemer. I really like thier black bean burger. That is very tasty! I would definitely recommend this coffee house for some excellent food and excellent coffee!“

It is conveniently located within 2 blocks of Capitol Square and is attached to the adjacent hotel lounge area.The location is very spacious with plenty of seating and a large window. The store is very clean and the staff are excellent.I ordered a Paradise Drink but they ran out of pineapple bits. They asked if I would like dragon fruit or strawberries in it. It was so kind of them to still give me some dried fruit with the drink.The dragon fruit was scrumptious when paired with the pineapple and oatmilk mixture.“
