“We ate here before the Chris Young show in the middle of that dang snowstorm. It was our first time! From the minute we walked in and were greeted by the host staff and welcomed by our server at the bar, we already felt like we were being treated like royalty. You feel so welcomed, immediately. After a cocktail, our hostess came and found us for our reservation and we were seated at a cute window seat, overlooking the Christmas lights. Our server, Alex, was OUTSTANDING. I cannot stress enough how much we enjoyed his company and his conversation. We were, again, treated like royalty. 1 billion out of 10 for all of the front of house staff...especially Alex. At this point, if the food was terrible I wouldn't have even cared. But. It. Wasn't. Calamari 10/10 (light batter and melts in your mouth), my Ceasar Salad 10/10 (the dressing was light and flavorful and I almost asked for a bowl of the croutons) I ordered a NY Strip medium rare, baked potato, mushrooms 10/10 (cooked and seasoned to perfection, at this point Ive eaten so much food I think I'm going to die, but I couldn't stop), my friend had the Queens Cut Prime Rib, baked potato, and asparagus 10/10 (again, cooked to perfection, super flavorful, and the asparagus was huge and delicious). Alex asks if we want dessert and I said I literally can't breathe. ...He came back with a chocolate mousse anyways...how he knew my weakness, I'll never know. So, go for the food and the staff. These folks are doing it so right. We can't wait to go back!!!!”

“I brought a group of girlfriends to Fawn Creek Winery for an evening of live music, and it did not disappoint. The entertainment was fantastic, the wine slushes were absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed night out. We also loved the gift shop—especially the option to take home everything needed to make their signature slushes ourselves. A wonderful experience all around!”

“Excellent service, excellent food. Some of our group had prime rib ( some of the best I have ever had anywhere), some had steak, some had fish. All said food was top notch. Had cheese curds and spinach dip appetizer. Wonderful. Strong drinks…nice change, and a best ever grasshopper. I wish we lived closer. We would come often! Happened in when having our family Christmas weekend. Wonderful place. Worked with our celiac guest without issue. Highly recommend!!”

“I have waited a long time to go to House of Embers. Being from the area it has been on my list of places I have always wanted to go but never have been able to. I specifically waited for a Saturday evening so that I could get Prime Rib. Again lots of anticipation with that. Also we arrived shortly after they opened for the night and was surprised with how many people they already had in the place.

We got seated right away in a small table for two near the door out of the kitchen. Our waitress came and took our drink later. A while later she came back and asked if we ever got our drinks. We had not and she said she would check on them. It was two beers from tap so nothing complicated. A little later she came back with the two beers. We placed our order including an appetizer. After a long time again the waitress comes back and asks if we got our appetizer. Again we said no and again she said she would have to go check on them. She came back and said they would be out soon. They did arrive at the table about 10 minutes later, making me think they had not been started until the waitress checked on them. The seafood stuffed mushrooms were really good so worth the wait.

Since we put in our main order with the appetizer we thought maybe that our main course would follow shortly behind our appetizer. That was not the case. Actually two tables that came in well after we placed our order received their food well ahead of us and both of those tables had more people in the party than we did. Nothing more frustrating than seeing other tables getting their food when you have been at your table for about an hour at that point. Also the Prime Rib should have just needed to be sliced and the lobster should not have taken all that long to cook based on the size of the lobster.

On to the Prime Rib. Yes I am a Prime Rib snob. The Prime Rib was done to the way it was ordered, medium rare. It was covered in rosemary to the point that it was very overpowering. Still it was not terrible and if they cut back others might complain that it didn't have enough flavor. The mashed potatoes that came with the meal were really good. I was surprised that it was not served with Au jus so I couldn't even dunk to wash some of the Rosemary off.

Overall I am not sure if this experience was a product of my anticipation or if they just really have some issues with how the work flows in this place. It seemed that our waitress had to keep going to figure out what was going on with our food and drinks so I don't think it was all just a product of my anticipation.”

My steak was 8 ounce fillet and it was the best fillet I’ve ever had and we love to go out to eat and it’s hard to make us happy so I am very very pleased and would recommend this place to everyone. “I loved the penne alla vodka so much that I got it two nights in a row❤️ our server Oswaldo was fantastic and had the most amazing recommendation to add shrimp to the penne alla vodka ( which was an amazing suggestion) and the monte cristo drink which is now a favorite! Last week we were in the Dells (We always stop here for a meal.) our drivers side window was broken. What a god send! We went inside for the first time, it was great! We will go in from here on out. My husband had the steakhouse burnt ends sandwich, I had the B3 burger- both so delicious! We didn't want to stop eating... the food was THAT good. Our daughter had the cheese pizza and loaded mashed potatoes, she had a second helping of potatoes and scraped her plate clean of them! Our waitress was fantastic as well. “We had Stuffs Family Restaurant and Catering cater our daughter’s wedding this past Saturday, and it was absolutely wonderful! The three-meat dinner option — beef tenderloin, chicken, and ham — along with the full salad bar, mashed potatoes, seasoned vegetables, potato salad, pasta salad, and warm dinner rolls was nothing short of amazing. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were professional, attentive, and even took the time to introduce the menu and ensure that every guest was well taken care of. Once again we enjoyed a peaceful dinner on the deck at the bar height table offering a beautiful view of Jordan Lake. My sandwich was delicious and timely. “Delightful scenery, delicious snacks and dainty dolls are all located at Scoop’s Ice Cream and Candy at Wisconsin Dells. There is a colorful display of cars outside on one side of the parking lot. There is a beautiful waterfall on the other side of the parking lot. Once you are inside, there are beautiful items on display, then there are dozens of popcorn options, followed by dozens of candy options, followed by a freezer of ice cream options and there are dozens of dolls with really adorable outfits near the back of the store. It is reminiscent of a childhood dollhouse combine with a quaint ice cream shop that has really attentive people working.”

“I ordered my ice cream cake on a Thursday for pick up on saturday, I arrived to pick up at 1145am and found out that ot was not done, the manager came out and said that the order did not print on friday because there services were down and said she can have my cake done in an hour. Fast forward an hour they were just finishing up the cake when the same manager came out and said the cake had collapsed on itself for not being frozen enough. She than offered to remake the cake, grab a bigger cake from the freezer aor give me a full refund. I asked for her to make it again and she asked what time I would like it by and I told her 5pm. She even offered to deliver the cake herself so I didn't have to come back out to get it and leave my resort. I got my cake at 430 and I got a hand written apology and she gave us some cupcakes as well. I understand things happen and the manager handled the situation perfectly. Thank you so much for your kind and friendly service. Will definitely be back in the future.”

“Tonight I went into Culver’s and had never ordered from one before. I terribly screwed up my order and then had to take the food back (I thought I got the wrong order). The manager on duty was AMAZING! Explained how I ordered incorrectly in the nicest way possible, and remade all of the food for me. I could really tell that they cared about customer experience and handled the situation so amazingly! The food was delicious, and the service was super quick as well! “3 star instead of 2 for two reasons. First and foremost was the bartender/server the night of 05/01/24. Really nice guy, especially to our kiddos. Second is the concept. The loaded tater tot ideas they have are good. Serving size on the loaded tots were good as well. However, execution is inconsistent at best. I'll start with the good. I had the torta tots. Pork was super tender and flavorful. Ancho chili sauce was delicious. "Pico" had banana peppers, which was actually a nice twist. Tomato & onion chunks were way too large. 3 starts overall on that dish. Mainly cause of the pork and sauce. Next were the pizza tots. Pep and sausage were decent. Sauce was a MAJOR fail. Not everywhere needs to do a homemade sauce obviously. At least use a good pre-bought one though!!! It might has well have been straight, crappy tomato sauce. Lastly, STAY AWAY FROM THE MAC & CHEESE TOTS UNLESS YOU UNDER THE AGE OF 5!!! How are you gonna be a bar/restaurant (not a crappy hole in the wall bar) in WI AND PUT KRAFT MAC & CHEESE ON SOMETHING OTHER THAN THE KIDS MENU!!! (Kraft in kids menues in WI is also questionable in my opinion). It was saved by half a star due to the ok cheese sauce and then made a little bit better by paying extra for the bacon. Also, ditch the paper on the bottom of the loaded tots. It disintegrates, and your guests end up digging the paper out of their food. Lastly, don't bother with the cheese curds. WAY OVERPRICED FOR HOW MUCH YOU GET!!!”

This morning I called the Dunkin in the Dells and asked if there was any way they could send my friend Anna some coffee (the Dells didn’t seem to have UberEats from what I saw). The store said they typically wouldn’t do this, but today, they would! Anna and I have both been working a lot. Today in particular, she had been texting me saying how tired she was. We haven’t gotten to hangout for a while now because of this pandemic, & today Dunkin really came through! Anna said she “feels so loved” !
