“Don't let the fact that it's a truck stop fool you; they serve real food here. They serve their full menu all day with generous hours.The sausage and ham were juicy, the waffle was good, the pancakes were sizable and tasty, and the biscuits and gravy were good as well. The later used some very dense biscuits which is how I like it; they didn't just disintegrate. The portion sizes were very generous and my entire massive order combined with the order of my dining partner was under $50.The waitresses provided good conversation and kept keeping each other updated on how much food I had left in front of me until it was all gone. We were checked on regularly and drinks were kept full. Overall a great little unassuming restaurant!“
“Places like this need to be protected at all costs! The food was actually really good, service was prompt. Prices may be a little on the high side, they have decent storage for trucks with a decent bathroom and a place to get snacks and drinks.“
“Beautiful interior design, excellent service, and the food is amazing. The Korean short rib is very tender and it is huge. The scallops taste fresh but the portion seems light. The one thing that could improve is the room temperature as it gets cold sitting beside the windows and when it is dark there is nothing to see. Other than that the restaurant is great.“
“First time visiting and very much impressed! The place was packed when we got there yet we were attended to right away! The QR code ordering is not only convenient but quite expedient. I had a cold beer in hand less than a 1 minute from ordering. Just wow! Special shout out to Jameson for keeping the kitchen open for us as we arrived near the kitchen closing time. Overall the Screech Owl has great food and even better yet attentive customer service. Something so hard to get these days sadly. Cannot recommend them enough, thank you to all the staff there!“
