“Went today and it was pretty busy so decided to go inside. Brittany was single handily running the store. Helping everyone she could (seems to be a few new people still learning) lady in the drive thru being super rude about a promo that wasn’t applied (employees have zero control over the POS system when this happens) but she was nice enough to give a discount to try to help fix the situation. Lady continues to be rude as hell all while this girl is busting her a** helping her team and customers. Go Britt! Love, a fellow Industry worker who saw you putting in work.“

“Came to Burnt Bean Coffee Co. for the first time this morning with my fiancé! I got a hot dirty chai & he ordered an iced mocha latte. Both drinks were DELICIOUS. The barista was so kind and welcoming. She explained their spring menu to us and filled us in on the rewards program. I can’t wait to come back!“

“Excellent & unique flavors offered each month. The Expresso Milkshake if a must try with any of the coffee flavored ice creams. The flight is a good start as it’s just enough to try flavors with 4 mini scoops for families and/or a date or friend. “I stopped by Nutmeg Palace for the first time today and was impressed. I tried their French toast coffee (hot), and it was delicious, balanced with just the right amount of sweetness.

What makes this place even more special is the story behind it. It’s a small, locally owned spot run by a husband-and-wife team, Matt and Mattie, who genuinely care about creating a healthier, more thoughtful coffee experience. They source their beans from a small-batch roaster in Pennsylvania and use real maple syrup as a natural and default sweetener at no extra charge. They told me they want to discourage the use of sugar because it’s bad for your health and they learned that from personal experience.

You can tell they believe coffee and tea should not only taste amazing but also support your well-being. Every detail feels intentional, from the quality ingredients to the cozy, artisanal vibe. Even the name “Nutmeg” comes from a horse you’ll spot on their logo, such a charming touch.

I’m already looking forward to trying more flavors. What a gift to have a spot like this right here in Hedgesville!

I stopped today at Nutmeg Palace’s door,
And found a place I’ll doubt no more.
Their French toast brew, so warm, so deep,
Struck perfect balance—rich yet sweet.

Each sip revealed a thoughtful art,
A crafted cup, a mindful heart.
No syrup false, but maple true,
That lent its grace to what I knew.

A husband, wife, with gentle aim,
Have built far more than just a name.
They choose each bean with earnest care,
From small-batch roasters, rich and rare.

“Went there for the first time today; the coffee is delicious!!!! Blueberry muffin was rather large so I took my time eating it. I love how friendly the place is and feels. I’m hoping to learn about volunteer opportunities at some point. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back.“

“This Starbucks inside Target is actually a really convenient combination ☕🛒. It’s nice to be able to grab a coffee while shopping or take a quick break during errands.

The atmosphere is quieter and more relaxed compared to some standalone Starbucks locations 😌. It feels simple, comfortable, and easy to stop by without dealing with huge crowds.

Drinks were prepared well, and the staff were friendly and polite 👍. Service was pretty quick too, which is always appreciated when you’re in the middle of shopping ⏱️.

What I personally like about Starbucks locations inside Target is the convenience factor. You can shop, relax for a few minutes, recharge, and then continue with your day 🚗✨.

Of course, it’s smaller than a full standalone Starbucks, so seating and menu options can sometimes be a bit more limited, but overall it still delivers the familiar Starbucks experience 🥤👌.

“This food court store is the finest thing that you will find in the area. If you're there, don't feel disappointed that there's not a lot of places to visit to dine during the two o'clock in two different spacing, your gut, but to get you through that time, make sure you visit Starbucks 😉“

“I tried messaging them private but they never answered because I don't think one bad employee defines your whole bakery. My girlfriend and I visited your bakery last weekend. The manager on duty seemed a little agitated with a prior customer and had an attitde while we were ordering. She checked us out and then put our food in the microwave to warm up as we requested. She went to the back while we waited. We were standing there for about 5 minutes and when she came back to the front, she was holding a dirty plunger in her hand and grabbed our food out of the microwave. We were disgusted and ended up throwing our food away. We did not want to make a big deal and have other customers upset. I thought it was a good idea to let you know what was happening in your bakery.“
