“I've stopped here many times over the years. Old school truck stop, nothing fancy inside or out but they have the basics a trucker needs. Great food, hot shower and plenty of parking any time of the night. Sadly rolled in wanting to get a shower and a good meal but they are still closed due to COVID and the Governor. I really hope they aren't closing for good, i love these places over the big franchise chains and less chance of getting robbed and your truck smashed up.“

“My wife and I have eaten at the Dog Haus for years. The owner and employees treat us like family. The food, including desserts, is homemade and very delicious. Ribs are excellent. It’s your fault if you leave hungry, cause portions are generous. Overall a great place to have lunch or dinner.“

“We came with our party of 7 and were beyond impressed with the food, service and atmosphere. The husbpuppies were the best we ever had and the wings were crispy and flavorful to perfection. Best of all were the crab legs, which were juicy, sweet and phenomenal. My mother in law also enjoyed her homemade tiramisu. Hidden gem on the island full of flavor and hometown feel. Will come back every time.“

“We’re halfway through a 10000 mile round trip, roadtrip from Alaska to East Coast and back. We eat out most every meal, so far this place is the best in 5000 miles. The food was incredible and the staff was great too.“

“The man working was sweet and kind as well as considerate ! Played music and made sure I liked the type he was playing !The machines were clean ,but ,the machine wasnt good too me .I wish they (the machines) would take lessons from the worker!Lol cleanest place ive been in a while .....Variety of snacks and great drinks and great mixture of old and new machines !“

“This was my first time here and I will return. My chicken quesadilla appetizer was a full meal for 2 and really exceptional. The service was good, very nice. Atmosphere was clean and appealing but a tad hectic with dozens of TVs on different channels.“

“My food was good, and our waiter was excellent. It's not my first or second choice of places to eat in Parkersburg. I don't like spicy and the menu has a lot of cajun spice. I also don't eat crispy coatings. If you like those things, you would like the menu. My strawberry Margarita was yummy.“

“Normally I’m not a fan of this type of food, but it was very delicious! A bit pricey, but the flavor of the food was well worth the price point in my opinion. The staff were very polite and checked in consistently as well. I’ll definitely be back!“

Wife and I went out for Lunch here on (Sat.12.Sept.2026), i did not take any pics due to i thought i already rated this location, but i seen on (Mon.14.Sept) Google Maps asked me to rate it so i guess it does not matter how many times you can rate a place.
Walked into restaurant, was greeted by a Female Staff at front doors, she was very nice with great attitude and the atmosphere inside was perfect, we was like the 3rd set of customers so no noise at all, table was clean.
Waitress took our order (both of us ordered Hamburger, Fries) it did not take long for our order to arrive to our table, both of our orders was Made, Cooked n Prepared Perfectly and it all had a Terrific taste.
No Complaints at all.“

“The March Madness/ St. Patrick's Day atmosphere was what sports are played for. The restraunt is brand new and everyone there treated like they knew me for years.All the games and the food was honestly really good. Highly recommend it.“

“The BEST Philly and Italian subs in town! Specials everyday, HUGE selection of alcohol, best Bartenders, they make you feel like your right at home! Prices are amazing & with 12 tvs and all of them can be running different games, you won't miss a thing! Plus they also gambling machines. The LR has been open 50 years, obviously they are doing something right! Check it out for sure!!“

“Literally the best experience I’ve had at ANY Texas Roadhouse. The food was PHENOMENAL. Their steak marinade for the steak kabobs will definitely be hard to top. Whoever’s working in the kitchen knows what they’re doing. Additionally, our waitress was AMAZING. She was confident, quick, made sure we had everything we need. It was like she knew what we needed before we did. The whole experience was wonderful. The peanuts, the rolls, the food itself, the waitress, the atmosphere. We had an awesome time.“

“My husband and I eat here about once a week. Unfortunately it is starting to show it's wear and tear; rips in carpet, tears in some bench seats, toilet in restroom has been out of order for about a year, walls need painted. Would like to see things "spruced up" a bit.“

“Very good experience at this location was greeted with a friendly smile. My order was taken promptly. Food came out nice and hot and was exactly what I had ordered. The condiment area was nice and clean and well stocked.It’s been a while since I’ve gone to a Captain D’s but this experience was superb!! Will definitely be back!!!“

“We went to the Mineral Wells Cracker Barrel for dinner. Our server was Trenton. He done an excellent job 10/10. It was pretty busy but he didn't miss a beat. I had the country fried steak mashed potatoes and a salad. It was delicious. The mashed potatoes were a little off but good. 9/10. My husband got the rainbow trout baked potato and broccoli 10/10. Over all the place was very clean. Keep up the good work.“
