“I’m originally from Seattle and my family originates from Saigon, so i’m very used to having easily accessible Viet restaurants and home cooked food. I work in travel healthcare and chose Charleston, WV and was really worried I wouldn’t find a place close by for some authentic Vietnamese food. WRONG!! This place exceeded my expectations and even has specialty dishes like cà ri gà (chicken coconut yellow curry) BBH(spicy beef noodle soup), hủ tiếu bò kho (beef stew noodle soup) and delicious bánh mì!!! Omg the bánh mì is to die for and their baguettes are so crispy but soft on the inside, flavorful fillings and veggies. Just wish the jalapeños were spicier. Homey ambiance in the restaurant which is all you need. I also got the Hủ tiếu Bò kho and it was FANTASTIC!! All the side veggies satisfied my craving for good texture with the noodles and the beef stew was so flavorful and tasty. I loved my experience here and i’m sooo glad Charleston has a great Viet food spot. Thank the heavens for your business!“

“When they told me they had separate fryer that was dedicated to gluten-free, I was sold. And the food and service was amazing! I have celiac disease, and for the last 25 years going out to eat has always been so hard (with risk of getting sick). It’s still often that I get confused looks when I mention “gluten”, other places…but to have a dedicated fryer or cooking area that never happens! That made my night.. super delicious! We also ordered Cheese dip for the chips and it was some of the best I've had. The salsa was great too. I have eaten at several of the different tudors locations around the area! I would usually drive to nitro to eat but this morning i chose Dunbar! And my order the same as usual! The Big Tater! It has almost everything Tudors has to offer! I placed my order for the Big Tater and told them to load it up! Well for once they finally got it right! I havnt had the perfect Big Tater in a few years since a friend of mine left the nitro store! Finally the Dunbar store has the employees that knows what their food is supposed to be when their customer says add an extra sausage and load it all up! The perfect balance of all good things that Tudors has to offer! Kudos to you Dunbar and your awesome employees there! Many Thanks! I will be back!“

“My wife and I had our second meal at Ristorante Abruzzi last night, and it was absolutely fantastic! We sat at the bar and our bartender was a blast. Super attentive and the drinks were incredible. The Ricotta Toast appetizer was incredible, especially on the Charleston Bakery sourdough. I'm a sucker for chicken parm, and it was the special, so I had to go with it. My wife had the Cod Linguine Alla Limone. Both dishes had perfectly cooked al dente noodles, and the flavors were amazing. We also had the Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake, and it was fabulous as well. We can't wait to go back!“

“I was looking for somewhere to eat in the Charleston Central Mall. A kind woman waved me and my dad over and offered us a generous amount of free samples. It was delicious! We tried pineapple chicken, sweet pepper chicken, general tso's, hawaiian grill—I loved it. My dad and I both got rice and chicken and she was generous with portions. We also got fruit salad—she insisted she go back and prepare more fruit salad for us. It looked beautiful, the fruit was fresh, and it tasted great. Two meals, a side of an eggroll and 3 wontons, the fruit salad, and a medium drink came out to about $40. I would call that more reasonable considering the generous portions! She was so welcoming. The food was incredible.“

“We are interested in healthy food without oil, we don't eat meat, dairy, fried food, or seafood. We asked Evan to fix us a special vegan roll, not sure if he was up to the challenge. Boy, did he impress! He made two rolls: one w slow cooked mushrooms (not pictured) and also nigiri w roasted yellow peppers (not pictured). It was outstanding! He also fixed us some tofu w scallions and a simple sauce which he and his wife enjoy at home. We also got some udon and steamed vegetables which were outstanding. It was so good we were practically licking the plates! Such a lovely meal --everything was so delicious! We will definitely be back!!!“
