“When traveling I like to try local places when able. I’ve found myself in Wheeling to photograph the Cathedral. Anyway, I stopped in for dinner, was seated quickly and water received immediately. I kept it simple and just had the burger with fries. It was cooked perfectly and arrived pretty quickly. (This place is not a burger joint, the have options, such as lamb for example.) Chelsey was my server, she did great as well. Would definitely return if I found myself in Wheeling again!“

“Visited , Thursday 8/7/25. Never complain, but the 2 salads ordered were Oh so , disappointing. Salads were not presented as advertised, with missing ingredients , and quality of ingredients were lacking. Our server did ask if we needed more salad dressing for both salads. The portion size was smaller than we anticipated. Hopefully, just an off night !“

“I ordered the Deck Salad with grilled chicken. Don't expect to eat the whole thing, it is huge. Loved it! It had blackberries as big as my thumb, strawberries and blue berries. And, of course, it had dried cranberries, pecans and feta cheese. I would order it again. I wish they would bring back the Reuben dog. It also was delicious.“

“It was late at night and I needed a place to stay so an employee went and cleaned a room for me, no other place would ever do that and for that I am thankful! They are friendly and helpful. And their rooms are cozy and make you feel right at home! And they have the lowest prices around!!“

“First time I went to pickles, I went specifically to get their fried pickles. This was about a year and a half ago and the coating was very thick and I was highly disappointed. I thought how can you have a bar with that name and not have outstanding pickles??? My girlfriend talked me into going again the other day and I thought okay. I'll give them another chance. Oh my gosh! Whoever made them did a perfect job. The coatiing was thin. The pickles were large Spears. It was awesome! Awesome! awesome! Did I mention it was awesome? Lol Can't wait to go back!“

“Great food, service and a cool atmosphere. I like how the bar area is separate from the dining area. The patio was nice too. With many TVs, it's a good place to watch sports. The menu had a plethora of choices from pizza, pub grub, seafood, many salad choices (I recommend the basil vinaigrette) and great steaks! Definitely my new go to spot when visiting Wheeling.“

“I took my family of four there after a friend recommended. Usually, when we go out to dinner at least one meal isn’t that good. I was amazed that everything was absolutely amazing. The steakhouse burger I ordered was hands down the best burger I’ve ever eaten. The poutine was great, the pretzel sticks with beer cheese was sublime. My wife and 17 year old daughter ordered chicken sandwiches and they raised the bar on chicken sandwiches. The salad was great. My younger daughter (picky eater) ordered a pizza from The 304 Wood Fired Pizza, it was the best pizza I’ve had in the Ohio Valley. In conclusion, this place is one of the best restaurants, if not the best restaurant in Wheeling. Definitely going to be a regular there. I’d have to give it a 15 out of 10 rating.“

“We are from out of town & saw the parking lot was busy but decided we’d try anyways! It was really really busy but Sara our waitress apologized - it looked like she was the only waitress. We assured her it’s ok & she was wonderful. It took a very long time to get our food but when Sara brought it - it was hot & delicious! We had no complaints at all! We also appreciated how nice Sara was in spite of her trying to service the entire place! She was wonderful“

“We came into Wheeling for the Symphony and this place was in 5 minutes walking distance, and I’m so glad we came! “Honestly the best food in the Ohio Valley!“

“First time to this establishment today. I just had to write a review. When we first arrived we were a little nervous bc of the condition of the outside deck and entrance but we decided to give it a try. I headed straight to the restroom….big mistake. I was seriously contemplating leaving after that experience. Smelly (like sewer gas smell not from someone using restroom), dirty and just old and run down. But the person I was with was already seated & placed drink order so we stayed. The waitress was friendly enough but we told her we’d never been there before and she didn’t bother to tell us anything about specials or the menu or anything. So we ordered. I got the club sandwich with house chips, the other got the Philly sandwich and upgraded to sweet potato fries. The food was fast to come out and we were pleasantly surprised how good it looked and with the portion size. The waitress did get us refills and check on us. As we sat there we noticed how EXTREMELY FILTHY the large a/c vent grate on the wall near us was. Looked like it hadn’t been dusted or wiped down in years. And the people at the table next to us were commenting on how disgustingly filthy the wood floors were. The gentleman said it looked like it needed degreaser dumped on it and mopped about twenty times over. He also commented how ashamed he’d be if he owned a place that looked like this. I agree. The place filled up while we were there and all the food looked amazing. I saw so many items I’d like to try but…. Although we were impressed with the food I’m not sure I will ever go back. Just too dirty for me. Such a shame.“

“This location has always been my favorite, food service, everything! However I was moved to leave a review due to them going the extra mile for me today! There was something that wasn’t available on the menu, and I called to verify and they confirmed though no longer on the menu I can order it and they’d make it. I said no worries and let them know we were doing Door Dash. The gentleman said to give him a moment, came back and took my information and said to order a certain item and he will make my specific request in its place! ALSO: Austin said the hype about the new wings was worth it.. he said and I quote “the best wings I’ve had in Wheeling in a while”“

“We were dining on the first of November with our 9 year old mom. The wait was very long in our opinion but the staff was very polite and the food was good as always. But if we have one complaint that would be that the restaurant take care of the patrons inside the restaurant first and take out next. But overall a good experience.“

“The place wasn't exceptionally busy yet we had to wait 20 minutes for tables that were visibly open. I understand timing table seatings to not overwhelm the kitchen, but we could have been sat and just told to hang tight so at least we had drinks and weren't in the doorway. The waitress was quick with taking orders and delivering drinks and food but didn't really smile or converse much until the end when she brought the check. The manager was running around helping deliver food but had her keys hanging on her belt which loudly clanked as she hustled thru the building. It was good to see her helping but the keys were very loud. The food was yummy, and the price was appropriate for what we ordered. Overall, if we're back in the area, we'd go again. Those cheese stick/logs were delish. My smash burger was tasty and the bubbas sauce was excellent.“

I got wet muddy we stopped in for dinner didn't realize it was so close to closing they were very sweet I was wrapped in a blanket the waitress was very sweet I have enormous dietary restrictions she even separated the spinach out of the salad mix she checked on us was so sweet and caring. our food was gd she even sent me home with extra biscuits. I just wish I could have gotten her name cute blonde very sweet.“
