“I feel as if the newer employees are not trained for customer service. You could stand at the register for 5 to 10 mins and never get a "We will be right with you" or "Welcome to McDonald's". There is no acknowledgement of your existence until they absolutely have to come up to the front counter.“

“Stopped here on a trip for a quick sandwich. The roast beef was good but what set it apart was the server, Alexis, who had refreshing manners seldom experienced in fast food outside of CFA. And the restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms. Happy we stopped.“

“Just left there and want to say...Kim and Timmy were rocking that place out! Thats right, TWO employees were keeping that place going tonight! The drive thru lane was miles long, people in the dining room. We accidentally hit drive thru on our mobile order and wanted to dine in. When we got in I could see they were crazy busy. Kim let us know they were short staffed, and it would be a bit of a wait, maybe 20-25 minutes. We told her no worries, she gave us our drink cups, and we settled in. Seeing them hustle brought back traumatic memories of working fast food in my youth. As we waited, a woman came in from drive-through to complain about wait time. Kim again explained very nicely that they were short staffed and working as hard as they could. (They really were). Our food came out much faster than 20 minutes, probably close to 12, actually. It was all fresh, well made, and delicious. As we ate yet another woman came in, this time irrate. I could not hear everything she was mad about, but again, it was drive-thru. I heard Kim apologize again and try to explain. To which the customer cursed at her and stormed out. Now I was really having flashbacks; ignorant people not realizing so much is out of your control, you are trying your very best, you need this stupid job, there's only two of you, what more can I do? All of it. I felt for them, that woman was screwed the heck up. I sincerely hope the people I heard and saw complaining can remember a time they are overwhelmed and trying their best during these types of interactions in the future. Before I left, I let Kim and Tim know they were doing an awesome job. They needed to hear that, especially because they freaking were! Keep up the great work you two! Taco Bell franchisee-be happy you have two workers like this, they are hard as hell to come by.“
