“We had breakfast and dinner here, and both meals were great. Excellent hotel American food. Service was pretty good and all the food was solid. They can deliver to your room, but be advised they it comes with a 20% room service charge.

Food- 5 stars
Everything was pretty good for the standard American restaurant at the lodge. I particularly liked the corn crusted red trout for dinner and the cowboy omelette for breakfast. Produce tasted fresh and their green smoothie was pretty good as well

Service- 5 stars
Food came out quickly and the servers and bartenders were really attentive. They were even able to drop off food in our room when we were doing some sunrise tours at Grand Teton NP (just to make sure we used our breakfast credit)

But the highlight of the night was the presentation of the Western version of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The talent was superb. Having never seen the Broadway play, I wasn’t sure what to expect. We were all pleasantly surprised. This was the sixth production we’ve seen at this facility. We highly recommend it.“

“We dined at Local on 01/09/2026 and it was amazing. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, answering our questions and making recommendations. We ordered the Caesar salad, the 18oz bison steak to split, mashed potatoes and a chocolate torte. Everything was delicious and we would definitely recommend.“

It is our last day in town so I’m thankful for a fun experience that made our last big dinner on vacation memorable. Sebastian was an amazing server, kind, and kept our waters filled because we were so thirsty and the local cuisine was outstanding. My 8 year old son literally said it was the burger of his dreams (off the kids menu). Rainbow trout, amazing. Bison brisket, divine. Even down to the micro greens they used for flavor (perfect pairing) and kimchi for added spice that was not overpowering. Atmosphere was wonderful and customer service was outstanding, honoring a coupon that we ended up not really qualifying for. So it really meant a lot to us with having four kids and a pricy menu! “I have enjoyed dining at the Whistling Grizzly before and it’s amazing! We were greeted by Kimi, who was very attentive. Jean Paul was our server and he was outstanding!!!! Tilly was also serving and was very kind during our brief interactions. Now on to the food, I couldn’t believe the size of this jumbo shrimp and the sauce was divine! Lastly, order the 32 oz bison tomahawk if it’s available as an off menu item! If you are brave, chew off the bone as there are a few tasty bits you just can’t miss. 10/10 would recommend whether it’s a romantic dinner, a family outing, or a business meal.“

“The atmosphere is excellent for watching sports, and I found the service to be above average. The food was typical for a bar, and I particularly enjoyed the wings and the chicken Caesar wrap, which was both large and delicious.

However, I noticed that the oil in the fryers needs to be replaced. The tater tots were quite greasy and their color suggested the oil was past its prime.“

“We had a wonderful time at the white buffalo club. We stayed in a miller park room and it was very clean with everything we would possibly need in the room. Heather and Savannah at the front desk were helpful and pleasant and the housekeeping crew always greeted us with a smile. The location was perfect for lots of restaurants in the square- all walking distance but we did also enjoy having parking at the hotel. In the morning it was very nice to grab a muffin or bagel before we headed to Grand Teton. It was a wonderful trip!“

“I honestly did not expect Asian food to be good in Jacksonhole, WY but I’m happy to say that Thai Plate proved me wrong!
My friends and I started off with some Thai Iced Teas which were solid! We then ordered the following:
Pad Kee Mao w/crispy duck
Spicy Fried Rice w/shrimp
Tom Kha Soup w/chicken
Pad See Ew w/beef
Green curry w/chicken

Honestly, everything was delicious but the ones that really stood out were the pad kee mao w/crispy duck and the tom kha soup w/chicken. The crispy duck was fantastic- juicy, tender, flavorful, and freshly fried. The noodles and seasoning/sauce in the pad kee mao were also good.
As for the tom kha soup, the broth was very flavorful from the lemongrass, lime, galangal, etc. And the coconut milk added a nice creaminess to the soup. Not to mention, there was so much chicken, veggies, and mushrooms in the soup!

Overall, my friends and I were very pleasantly surprised from our experience here at Thai Plate and we hope to come back when we visit Jacksonhole again!“

“Great Beer!! The Jenny Lake lager is one of my all time favorites. Food is also good. I recommend the pig & peach pizza. Their seasonal offerings are well worth it. Great people and great local Jackson place.“
