“The cutest subway station turned into a coffee spot! My friends and I ordered chai tea, spanish and tiramisu latte. The service took 30 minutes and the line wasn’t that long, but the lattes were absolutely worth it. Chai had the perfect amount of spice.“

“What a gem of a coffee shop!! We are so glad we tucked in for a cup of coffee. The coffee is delicious and the latte art is so cute. “Local roaster and coffee shop with multiple options for single-origin coffee. I had a cup of their daily drip offering, which was a Kenyan with pleasant acidity and fruity overtones. Nutty Bars, Star Crunch, and other classic snacks available in lieu of the standard pastries. ??“

“@tovcoffeebar in Portland has been by far my favorite coffee place I have found here! I got the Coconut Chai Tea and also tried The Arabic People Latte (actual names, swipe right to see menu) and they were both superb. The coffee was beyond smooth and just the perfect hint of cardamom. The chai tea also had a subtle note of coconut in one of my all time fav and go to drinks. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Part of going is definitely for the experience! We got ours to go, but still went upstairs to the deck while we waited and the atmosphere was so inviting. Also, pup friendly! 5 stars, hands down and will be back. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️“

“This place has quickly become one of my favorite brunch spots in Portland. With some of the best pancakes that I have ever had, it will be hard to stay away. My server, Branson, was awesome and provided excellent service. I will most definitely be coming back!“

“Heard about this place from friends who used to live in Portland, so we made the quick drive to see these mini donuts for ourselves. Had a great expereince. It's always busy, so just go in & wait to find a seat. We wanted to try everything donut-wise, so we did the dozen, and did two in each flavor. A dozen of these equates to about a half dozen in normal size donuts. The flavors had some interesting profiles, but they meshed well. We also got the Chai Flight since it was priced so well. Half of them were good, the other couple weren't our speed. Be courteous and don't linger too long after you've finished, so others can get a seat. I'd recommend everyone to try, as it's a neighborhood gem.“

“A quaint little hole in the wall coffee shop, serving their own roast. The drip coffee we had has a fruity flavor. Not sure if it was the addition of the sugar free simple syrup or simply the coffee blend. The mocha was delicious & frothy. We also had a raspberry jammer, basically a delicious biscuit with raspberry jam baked into the top. Deadstock is a black-owned business with Great Wall art. Don’t forget to look for the sneaker clock on the wall!“

“One of the best and most unique coffee shop in Portland. Most coffee shops in Portland serve local roasters which is nice but you’ll have the same great tasting coffee at every shop.AdaptCafe highlights roasters from around the world every month. This is such a breathe of fresh air to a scene crowded by the Coavas, Hearts, Nossas and Barista, which I do loves these too but there’s always room for something more.“

“Awesome little place. Right on the Streetcar route. Abba is pioneering new coffee and drink options; notably the Pistachio latte and the sesame seed latte. These are not made with flavored syrup, instead made in-house into a paste. Abba also boasts a beautiful live in house coffee tree.Parking: Abba is right along the streetcar track in NW Portland, easy to access by foot, bike, or streetcar. Parking is possible, but not nearly as fun as the streetcar.“

“The food quality is good, but the size of the breakfast burritos leave something to be desired, and I am a small person so I don't eat much. Would have been better if they put potatoes in it to bulk it up a little. The people working in there are nice and the lattes and food are good though. I would go back.“

“Cozy and quiet boba tea spot. I've been craving a good Jasmine tea and this place delivered better than I could've ever hoped. The boba is fresh and sweet and my tea is perfect (at 75% sweet). Service was quick and pleasant. I'm not Portland local, but I will definitely find my way back here if I'm ever in town again.Parking: There's parking along the street in front of the shop or around the corner.“

“Speedboat coffee is a very cute coffee shop. It has the classic homey feeling that I love in a coffee shop.We got chai tea lattes and they were delicious. We also got some GF treats that were made by the owners mom. They were delicious, however my partner has celiac disease and had a reaction to them. I do not fault the business, accounting for celiac disease in gluten free foods is difficult because of the cross contamination and even needing to use separate cutting boards or other utensils. I only mention this so other people with celiac can remain safe!I will be returning to speedboat for more coffee soon! Thanks for the great service.“

“We needed to make a quick coffee stop in the late afternoon. As a Filipino I'm always a sucker for ube. I forgot to specify that I wanted an iced ube latte but didn't mind that they gave me a hot latte. Yet 5 minutes later they also gave me an iced latte on the house! Both drinks were the perfect amount of sweetness while keeping me awake for the rest of the day. We also bought beans and the roast date was pretty recent. Overall, great drinks and friendly employees! Will definitely be back before the end of our trip to Portland.“

“Oh Em Gee! Maybe had the best coffee I've ever had! First time here and asked if they had any coffee with cayenne. They do not but mentioned their coffees have Moroccan spice so I may taste the kick I wanted. I ordered the Moroccan Pistachio Latte and it didn't disappoint! They top their lattes with honey powder to keep the foam! Simply put... perfect! Bold flavor with a little kick I wanted and just sweet enough to enjoy every sip!“

“Decide to try this out as it is a cute little shop off Division. Walking in, you could see the quaint shop and we were greeted with friendly faces. As it was our first time, we were encouraged to try every flavor and multiple times, if wanted. Met the gelato maker, who hails from Europe, who told us a bit about how he makes the gelato. The gelato was decadent and so smooth. Each flavor was very rich and could tell it wasn't airy. I typically like fruity flavors, but everything here was delicious. Definitely recommend Pinolo and will be coming back! Amazing gelato, friendly service, and cute decor, what's not to love?“

“The owner of this little gem is absolutely wonderful! We spoke with him for close to an hour when me, my partner, and a friend recently visited for the first time. And that's just icing on the cake on top of the delicious baked goods he makes. I wanted to get one of everything, it all looked so good! The items I did end up getting were delicious: breakfast sandwich on a yummy biscuit, chocolate chip cookie (this cookie was AMAZING), puff pastry filled with a yummy sweet something“

“The most welcoming, quaint, peaceful coffee shop with the very best coffee. The music is great too. I don't remember the last time I had an iced coffee that I enjoyed this much. The owner allowed us to sample their horchata cold brew which was the best cold brew I've had. To try something else, I ordered an iced dirty chai. And it was delicious. We did not try any food, but Mudd Works Roastery earned every bit of 5 stars regardless. We live on the other side of town, and we will definitely make our way back as soon as we can.“
“Delicious espresso-based drinks (a cortado isn't on the menu, but the barista made me one), great value, relaxed environment — and how often do you go to a coffee shop with a little fountain inside? They've got a shelf with mostly children's books but some books for adults. Seating on the Café Zamora side is kind of a living room setup — a couch, coffee table, and two chairs. Nice for sitting and reading for a little on a rainy day.“
“I'm on a mission to go to all the local coffee shops in Portland. This one is a little, out of the way spot where you can enjoy a spot of coffee. I went on a Saturday morning. The service was great and I was able to get in and out quickly. It's my impression that they brew Coava coffee. I found the coffee a little too fruity but it mellowed as it cooled and I ended up enjoying it.“

“This was the closest coffee shop within walking distance of my brother's house where I was staying according to Google Maps but it was not very walkable--lots of freeways stood in my way of getting there. However, it was worth the trek. The Wicked awesome breakfast sandwich ($8) was messy, gooey, eggy, filling, and delicious. Good bagel and flavor--I could tell it was made with love. I also enjoyed my Iced dulce de leche latte. Sweet but not too sweet. Service was good, friendly, and helpful. There's some outdoor seating and tables, but only outside because it's like a drive-by cafe. No outlets but worth it.“

“Stopped in a couple of days ago after a long, cold hike in the rain. Even though they had finished serving coffee for the day, Jesse was so nice to make me a pour-over hot coffee - just what I needed to warm up, and such a great cup of coffee! ☺️ Will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area!“

“Incredibly scrumptious and spacious place! The coffee is incredible, and both the food and pastries are top-notch. Its late hours and inviting environment make it perfect for studying. The amber latte is remarkable, smoothly blending caramel and cinnamon—sweet but not overly so, offering a perfect caffeine buzz with a spicy kick. The BLT is toothsome, savory, and perfectly balanced.Parking can be a bit challenging. There is a small lot, but it gets busy. I recommend parking on the street and walking up. Expect to pay $5-8 for a drink and $5-13 for food. This spot is ideal for long study sessions, first dates, or avid coffee lovers!“
“me and my partner went on a bike ride and discovered poppy’s and we seriously go every weekend morning now. OBSESSED with the “maca smoothie” it’s super sweet and balanced with the almond butter which we both absolutely love. And Emily is so considerate, a few times going there they already remember what we order! I love the environment and energy they give off and we will forever be returning customers“

“This was an amazing find in a city filled with coffee shops. There was nothing stuffy about the place and the service was impeccable. We sat in the window and watched locals stroll in greeted by first name... and we were treated just like we were daily customers as well. If you’re in Portland and you’re near 40 LBS make it a stop!“
“This review regards the quality of coffee I received by ordering online. The 3 coffees I chose were roasted the next day, and were delivered via USPS 2 days later to Central Oregon (via priority mail) -- excellent! The Spirit Lifter blend was just what I was looking for; it's very rich but smooth and makes a very good espresso. My only disappointment was the Night Moves decaf because it's a dark roast and I don't like dark roast beans -- the website description doesn't mention that the decaf is dark roast.“

“Haley was an absolute pleasure to order from. Great customer service and made us feel not only welcome but carried on a great conversation during the process. Outstanding drinks we received and service. Nice lil set up and we enjoyed the covered deck while waiting and conversing. Highly recommend Slowbomb Coffee!“
“Baristas were very nice and gave good break downs of their recommendations. Their chai latte was my favorite and my brother loved his s'mores mocha. We thought the butterscotch latte was a bit underwhelming in flavor compared to the others. We splurged and got the bon bons which were our favorite chocolate. My brother liked the espresso chocolate but I thought the wine one was a bit odd, can't put my finger on why. It is a fun space where they have their production shelving coming out into the cafe and you can see some of the workers in the back. Kind of a woodsy industrial vibe. Parking was very difficult to find but we also went when the convention center had something going on. Lastly, my only complaint would be that the chocolate bars are not scored in any way. No lines for east breaking, no embossment. So you either break it apart with your hands or like I did, cut it with a knife into smaller pieces, but then you lose a lot of the smaller, finer pieces. Anyway, cute and yummy shop, and a great place for gifts.“

“Exceptional coffee & 'pastry cuisine' offered by Electrica! While appearing as though simply an amenity to Schoolhouse Electric; their cohesive atmosphere, as well as their wonderful baristas crown the café as a venue in itself. Personally enjoyed the continuum of warehouse style w/ both the light wood & elegant lighting- I'd consider this a rather serene location for study or meeting others, especially w/ the (apparently!) reduced popularity during the afternoon. It's a bit removed from the city centre, but likely benefits from this w/ abundant parking & quiet surroundings :-)If it's worth mentioning my private experience; I entered after making a minor pilgrimage across the commercial area they're located in, nearing close, I felt a bit tenuous over how long I could remain. Yet, despite this, I were so incredibly welcomed & had not only a divine mocha, but an inviting conversation w/ Michelle, the active barista- if I've spelled her name properly, haha (omit where necessary..)She managed to facilitate a coffee-based memory, whilst simultaneously cultivating a uniquely natural dialog, even kindly maintained while an exodus of others began nearing close. Tragic may it be, I'm only visiting Portland briefly, but I'd certainly be a candidate for entering this café as a routine regular- and, highly recommend any to visit this iconic building!“

“What an absolute gem! I love everything about Turkey Place ? I stopped in for a coffee, breakfast burrito, and to return a bunch of emails. I left feeling so content that I took a lovely walk around downtown afterwards. The staff are so stunningly fantastic and sweet, the breakfast burrito was yummy all the way through, the coffee was hot and tasty, the shop is so perfectly laid out and clean, and watching the staff interact with regulars was a beautiful experience that I'll treasure forever. Do yourself a favor, visit this wonderful establishment, and you'll walkout feeling so refreshed, happy, and full! Grabbing a few more things to share with my hubby tonight was the icing on top ?“
