“Incredible food and fun interior/ambiance, though cocktails were mediocre. Highlight of our visit to Portland and visited twice in 2 weeks. The food was unbelievably tasty — they really didn’t compromise on Texan barbecue quality with their Thai focus. The white curry with brisket burnt ends was one of the best dishes I’ve had all year. The massaman lamb curry was phenomenal too.The cocktails (Shoulda Woulda Coulda and Life of Luxury) were unfortunately overly sweet and candy-like. I would skip them and just get a cold Singha draft or their alcohol-based slushies instead. We received cold service on our first visit but super friendly and attentive service on the second. We walked in with no wait on a Monday at 4:30pm and waited 1h30 on Saturday evening at a great wine bar across the street.“

“Perfect rainy day food!! service was quick, granted we came right at the start of dinner service, only people eating inside but lots of to go orders came in and out while we were there. the atmosphere is cozy. Fried Rice Specieal (w Chinese sausage): good shrimp/fish sauce flavor, all the strong flavors (like birds eye chili and cilantro) come on the side so you can easily mix in or omit. 8/10 Braised Chicken Thigh in Curry with Roti and Pickled Veg: So incredibly comforting, simple yet amazing depth of flavor (warm spices, chicken was falling off the bone). Portion size was perfect, felt full at end with no leftovers. 9/10 best dish of food i've had this year Can't wait to come back again and try the drink menu“

“First of all, this is not a typical dining experience. They are working very hard to provide a creative, upscale, and authentic Thai food experience that is on another level from what you can get on a regular basis. The flavors are not tailored to an American palate. It is also quite expensive, one of the more expensive restaurants I have eaten at. The food is very good and the experience is unique, but be warned it is extremely expensive. Our bill came to almost 500 dollars for 2 people.I feel like it's also worth noting that some of the food is very spicy. Thai food is spicy, so this is a good thing, but be ready. This is a tasting menu, so you can't really substitute or order other things if you can't eat spicy food.Lastly, I was somewhat disappointed in the wine pairing. The cocktails here are exceptional, though, so next time, I would try those for the money you would spend on the wine pairing. Just my two cents, but if you prefer wine with dinner, get the wine pairing.“

It's crispy, loaded, packed with umami and even comes with some veggies and rice for the perfect bite. The laos dipping sauce is also essential for it. Some other honorable mentions are: Laotion beef jerky, waterfall steak, nam khao and the salt and pepper shrimp and squid. “I've been here a couple times, both takeout and dine in. I'm vegan, so all of the food I had was from the vegan menu. I really appreciate that it has a different section on the menu because it makes finding what I can have a lot easier, without having to customize any of it. Takeout: When I came for takeout, the waiter still offered me water and a table which was very nice. The wait was not long at all and all of the food was hot and delicious. I liked the decor and it kept me occupied during my pretty short wait Dine in: I loved the plating of the food, and there's some cool tables here. We sat at a normal booth but they have one right next to a big window and it looked cozy. They also have outdoor seating but it's still cold outside so I haven't experienced that yet. I got a thai green tea which I'd never had and was in love with it. Pricing: Main dishes were around 15-20, my sides were like ~10, the green tea was 6.50 I wouldn't say it's competitive, but I don't think the prices are offensive either. Please don't forget to tip“

I was a bit dubious at first because the atmosphere is pretty boring and it's not much to look at, but as soon as our food came out, I was hooked! Fresh Salad Rolls

“This is a restaurant as well as a tea house and their food is delicious; some of the best I’ve ever had. The majority of their menu is gluten free and everything is clearly marked so you know what you’re getting. Service was quick, smooth, and the young man taking my order was kind and patient when I asked some questions. One of my questions was about the sweet sesame balls, which I didn’t end up ordering. When we were leaving, he ran after us and handed me a packet with a sesame ball, on the house. (It was different and also delicious!) The bill for my son and I came to $46 before tip, and we took leftovers home because the portions are pretty big. I will definitely be going here again.“

“Delicious, but slow. First, this is an indoor "cart pod" facility and Coco Garden is over off the options. There is a performance venue, and lots of tables. It is like a mall food court, but in a good way. A Thai place inside Zed, they have an extensive set of gluten free options. I got pineapple curry and my husband got pineapple fried rice (see the theme?) I also got Thai ice tea. All tasty and worthwhile. I was sad that the ice tea was made with half and half, rather than coconut milk, but I also didn't ask if I could have a substitute. The only downside was how long the food took. Our party ordered from multiple locations. The others had finished their meal before ours was ready. So, give it a try, just need prepared to wait.“

“Awesome family, friendly restaurant. There's a spacious feel to the restaurant and it is laid out so uniquely. There's fish tanks and a kid's play corner (so children can play while they wait for the food or after they are done eating). The service was friendly and the food was DELICIOUS! We got the orange chicken and the shrimp ramen and everything tasted amazing! Our little kid was super happy toddling around & we all had a great time! Definitely will be back!“

“I visited here for the first time. The food was surprisingly good. They offer a quite large menu. We had pad Thai and green curry. They give you a large portion so we could have had an appetizer and one main dish. I will definitely come back and try something more.“

“This place is a gem and one of the best restaurant values in Portland in my opinion. For $50 we can get dinner for two with enough leftovers for lunch the next day for both of us, and lunch another day for one of us. The quality of the food is excellent and the service is top notch. We’ve been eating here for years and they’ve always gone above and beyond!“
