“One of the employees was a blonde teenager who looked to be around 16 years old. He had to have been the nicest young man I have ever met. He recommended me the strawberry cheesecake blizzard which I absolutely loved and complimented me on my outfit. My experience with him positively reshaped my view in Dairy Queen.“

“Who ever handled my order today of 2 double bacon cheeseburgers and a Oreo blizzard!
The lady was so kind she was busy but made time for conversation which I appreciated! Today is June 3rd 2026 at probably 1:00 pm afternoon , i tipped her $20 for being a kind person. If you are KIND like my wife always preaches be “KIND” i felt great inside because she was kind person. “This location is usually manned by younger staff. They are always pleasant and happy. The staff always get a 5 star, same with the food that they serve. My only downfall on this location is that since they are smaller, they do not get some of the more popular regular staple items. I wish that they would more frequently have Kit-Kat and Coffre Crisp blizzards and cakes. I would definately buy more if they were available. Like I said before,the food is always good and the staff are phenomenal.“

“I wanted to give a special shout-out to Fahed. Every single time I come in, he's incredibly professional, energetic, and very professional. His positive attitude is so consistent that I've actually come to look forward to seeing him whenever I visit.

“This location has always been consistent with their food and service for me. Gurpreet, who is usually at the drivethru, is always very pleasant. He is polite and very thorough. I’ve never had a bad experience at this location which is why it continues to be my favourite!“

“This is my go to DQ! The staff is always so nice and helpful and today we went and I wanted to use both my rewards but also my DQ deals and they let me use both in two different transactions without any question! The blizzards have lots of yummy tests in them which is awesome! I applied here but didn’t get contacted but still a fantastic place! Thank you for the great food!“

Parking: If busy theres only 10 spots between 3 businesses and construction on 156th makes it difficult at times

Wheelchair accessibility: Ground flloor but the cement blocks/dividers could prove to be challenging to navigate in whelchairs or even for people with walkers“

“Banana split forever. Located in the Londonderry Mall food court this is a great spot for an ice cream treat. I have always enjoyed Dairy Queen’s treats. Now in my late 50’s I can’t remember a time that I haven’t had a DQ treat. My wife and I shared the banana split and enjoyed it. There is lots of seating in the food court and washrooms close by. The service was friendly and quick. We will be back at another time to enjoy the treats.“

“Staff at 4939 167 Ave NW location were phenomenal. At the end of our meal, Mariah came by to ask how everything was. We shared a Bacon Cheese Deluxe Signature Stackburger™ Combo, 2 Blizzards served upside down of course, and a Treatzza Pizza to go. Definitely new favourite location and will return.“

“I was in need of a Gluten-Free Ice Cream Cake. I wanted something special and awesome. I had Spoken with Alicia, and she was able to offer a couple ideas, found one i liked and needed it for the weekend. Alicia had to order in some items to make this happen for me. She was professional and friendly, She was always smiling with a positive attitude and great personality.
I went in on the weekend and she greeted me, remembering exactly who I was from the previous time we had met. She stopped what she was doing and greeted me and said she would be back. Alicia brought out the cake which was beautifully decorated and looked amazing. The cake was a hit, Alicia seemed to really enjoy her job and did an amazing job.

“Today around 3:50 PM, I ordered two small vanilla shakes, and I wanted to appreciate the excellent service provided by Hardil. I believe she may have been a new trainee, but she was extremely polite, professional, and very helpful throughout the interaction. She maintained proper hygiene while preparing our order and made sure we had a great experience. The shakes were delicious, and her positive attitude truly made our day better.

I also visited yesterday and ordered a soft drink and a large Mint Oreo, and once again, Hardil provided wonderful service and made us very happy with the experience. It’s always great to see someone so friendly, hardworking, and dedicated to customer service.

“Usually not too busy when I'm there, ice creams and other treats are made very quickly, hot foods naturally take a little longer but are usually done fairly quickly, food is hot and service is good. Very professional and efficient work! Only issue is that the food court is usually boiling hot, but that isnt caused by the DQ, it's definitely nice to get a cold treat while walking around the mall and the hot food court.“

“Me and my boyfriend come to this Dairy Queen religiously. It’s so good and has never missed a single time. We probably come too much some might say and we don’t care because it’s just that good. His cupfections the fudge is always nice a hot and I love a big juicy burger and salty fries. Everyone should come to this Dairy Queen and be very nice because the people here are the absolute sweetest and deserve the kindest customers. There’s also coupons on the app that are great value and it’s a very fair price for much better food than other places. I love this place this is my safe space 🧘‍♀️❤️“

“I would like to comment on a staff member from the Westmount location that occasionally works at the 137 Str. and 170 ave location. I've had interactions with her twice in the last few months. I wish Emma worked at your branch full-time.
She great with customers and when she's not busy - I don't see her standing around. - she cleaning windows and tables. It's great to see a young person with ambition.

BTW - the last 2 times the small cheese burger has been luke warm :-( happy tho that the fries are hot.

“Best known for their ice cream treats, we decided to give their hot food a try. We had their single bacon cheese deluxe stackburger, regular crispy chicken sandwich, spicy crispy chicken sandwich and large fries. The burger and chicken sandwiches were quite good, nicely assembled with fresh toppings. They were comparable to the best we’ve had at this price point from a fast food chain. The fries were ok, just average. We ordered at the drive-thru and the person working was friendly and nice. There was a 6 minute wait for the chicken sandwiches. They also offered a pup cup of ice cream for our puppy.“

“I love this DQ. Went in for a cake. Young man working drive thru immediately came over to help me, beautiful smile and so kind, didn’t rush me - I asked him to draw me exactly this on the cake. He actually ATE. Look at that 2. The heart. The house was identical to the one I drew on the sticky note. He nailed it. I laughed so hard. Perfection. Absolutely dead serious, that man has a talent. PS. He asked what colour and I told him he could choose. Red was great. And you’re telling me he whipped out the black gel pen just to do that single doorknob dot? The commitment. Bravo.“
