“Salman is always so kind and personable! I am always happy to see him. He makes me feel good when I come in! I do go to other DQs, sometimes, but Jasper Ave is my favorite! I generally find parking in front (on Jasper ave) or behind (in the parking lot) and the late hours are great. Tonight, Salman was very friendly, quick, and attentive to my needs. Thank you!!! :)“

“Your employee kamal really manages it well with customer. I was there with my family and he greeted us well and we saw her with other customers as well. The food was really hot and the blizzards with actually so good at taste. It was a great experience and we really appreciate the customer service training provided to that employee. “This is the third time we’ve been to this DQ. This time I feel moved to take the time to do this review. This DQ is clean, welcoming and has a very positive feeling to it. The staff is all just lovely and informative. Very good. This place is great! Right down to the music they play….the atmosphere is just fantastic! “I don’t write many reviews but the service I got from Eddy at the counter and when he brought my above exceptional Banana Split to where I was seated in the restaurant. “The seats, decoration, and counter spaces are quite outdated compared to some other fast food joints. Food is amazing, must try their fried chicken burger - it is done right, crunchy outside, juicy inside. Friendly and efficient staff members.“

“Decided to stop in for a treat. Looked over the options and decided to try their Blizzard of the month - Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough. Ordered a small and the cost of over $6 always catches me by surprise.I make Snickerdoodle Cookies at Chistmas, hence why I thought to try this option. I'm not a fan of cinnamon ice cream though, can not see myself ordering this one again. Next!“

“It all started with an ice cream, now is one of our family places to go.They have a good variety of burger combos and ice creams.My only advise, do not seat near the cashier line. Some times, there can be a long line, and it is uncomfortable to be eating having people standing by your seat.“

The variety of sauces and dips (including gravy!) are awesome for the chicken strips.Had an issue with my DQ rewards yesterday and the manager, Priti, helped sort things out and exceeded my expectations. “Big, big THANK YOU to cake lady, Jinky, for saving the day! Birthday cake was ordered in DQ Newcastle August 13, 2023 for pick-up on September 6, 2023, 6PM. Phoned DQ Newcastle at 4:30 PM to inform them that my husband will pick-up the cake at 6PM only to be informed that there was no cake made for me as the order slip was missing. This caused panic and stress for me and I was trying to control my anger as I don’t wanna ruin the day, like the order was placed 3 weeks prior!!! Manager Shane referred me to DQ Palisades as the cake lady is not at Newcastle anymore and offered her apology. Spoke to Jinky, time was tight but she was able to deliver! I did not get the cake design that I wanted as this was explained in detail to the supervisor at DQ Newcastle who took my order, but Jinky made sure I get a nice cake for my son. Thank you, Jinky!“

“Decent food for the price. We ordered the 2 cheese burgers for $9. The meat was a little dry but thicker than McDonalds. The taste is pretty much the same. We also ordered poutine. Also decent but I think Harveys is a little better. I think DQ is a good restaurant for grilled food but their specialty is still ice cream. Was too full to try that.“
