“Just had this for lunch. Drove by many times never had a chance to stop in but today I did. I am very glad I did, this was the best pizza I've had yet in Edmonton! No joke was fantastic. Had the lunch special with a small mexican pizza and a ceasar salad was $18 with tax. The pizza dough was cooked perfect, legit perfect! Toppings weren't to heavy or to light just the right amount. I used to own a pizza shop in Newfoundland for many years and this is good stuff! You can see the level of care in the food! I will be back pizza was awesome. Only took about 9 mins waiting from when I ordered during lunch time. Highly recomend!“

“We were party of 5 and walk in, there were few empty tables in the Tuesday evening so the restaurant is pretty popular. All the staff was so friendly to our 7 years old kid, she even got crayons and some coloring sheet to draw while waiting for food so at the end of our night she was adoring them. We ordered a lot of food because did not expect portions to be this huge and so delicious for this price. I also wanted to mention how great waiter Bella was, all my family loved her, we got more than enough attention that could not but please. It was our first and definitely not the last time being in Sorrentino. The best restaurant in the whole West end .

“We had our wedding here on Monday April 17th , I would 14/10 recommend this as a venue for any bride! We had both ceremony & reception here and it was absolutely stunning the staff are incredible & SO MUCH FUN! Josh was the bees knees he helped with absolutely everything weeks prior to the wedding & during he made our day flawless!!! The meal was incredible drinks made top notch & FAST! We cannot that the staff here enough for a perfect wedding day!“

“Very nice romantic atmosphere, fine dining, great food. Except the Aragosta Risotto. The risotto is delicious, but be aware, the "whole lobster tail" is not lobster at all. It's a very small, 2 inches long tail of a langostino, size of a prawn. For the price of the dish there should be at least 3 of them, or just serve a real whole lobster tail.“

Book a reservation. Do not just walk in. It will be highly likely you will not get a seat, even at the bar. Recommend looking at the menu before hand to decipher the dishes. The menu doesn’t read in self explanatory terms in the sense that it is very Italian. Not a bad thing but can be overwhelming never been there before. Check the photos in google reviews and Instagram to give you an idea of dishes and how they are presented. Once the ordering is out of the way sit and relax. Enjoy the cocktail or glass of wine by candlelight as you wait for eats. It takes a little while but that’s part of the experience. What can be frustrating from time to time is the service. With the understanding of how crazy busy this place is most of the time I let it slide. Most servers will take note of wait times on food and provide you with a status update without being asked. Unfortunately during my latest experience the couple sat next to me at the bar after I was seated put their drink order in before us. Got the drinks before us. Then even ordered before us which resulted in them getting some food before us. I feel like there’s just not enough staff maybe considering the high demand for service in an environment in which you’re paying a premium for the entire dining experience. Just have patience. That’s what I’d suggest dining here for the first time or 10th time haha

Overall will come back. Will book a reservation. Will bring friends! Will eat all the fonduta agnolotti, sage butter and parmigiano ! Aka the little pillows of happiness lol
