“Great meal and excellent service. I had the ribs, large order with lots of meat. Had bread for an appetizer and the scallops which fed four of us. The waitress was very attentive and we never were looking for her. Ambiance was quiet and relaxing, great for having a conversation. This was our first time - but we will be back.“

We started with bruschetta and calamari which were cooked perfectly, crisp and full of flavour. Our mains of seafood linguine and veal piccata were delectable, with pasta cooked al dente and sauces that were rich and balanced. The wine list was impressive and our server recommended a smooth Chianti that complemented the meal beautifully. Service was attentive yet unobtrusive; the staff checked in to make sure we had everything we needed without rushing us. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed which made it easy to enjoy conversation. Dessert was a highlight; the tiramisu and creme brulee were both creamy and indulgent and provided a wonderful finish to the meal. Overall Sorrentino's delivered on every level and we left feeling satisfied and eager to return. “We have been enjoying Tasty Tomato since they opened in the 1990s. Hands down the best pasta in Edmonton & better than Italy! Their boscaioli is my partner's favorite, their bruschetta (a non-menu item) is a must, the home made tiramisu is divine & everything is worth at least 1 try -- delicious 😋. Joe is a stellar host & the servers are attentive, but not intrusive. Still trying to get their secret recipes! 😉“

“We had our wedding here on Monday April 17th , I would 14/10 recommend this as a venue for any bride! We had both ceremony & reception here and it was absolutely stunning the staff are incredible & SO MUCH FUN! Josh was the bees knees he helped with absolutely everything weeks prior to the wedding & during he made our day flawless!!! The meal was incredible drinks made top notch & FAST! “The food was very good, however the portion sizes are quite small for the prices. Went with a small group of 4, with a $400 bill and none of us were actually full when all was said and done. There was also a long wait between courses. I would recommend and would go back as the taste was amazing, but would plan better now that I know what we’re getting.“

“Okay I know everyone comes here for the Chicken Gigi...I get it. But PB needs a big shout-out on their $7.50 ($7.88 including GST) SANDWICH!! You can pick from four different breads and at least 4 protein options. Lots of fresh toppings including crispy and fresh lettuce, tomatoes and free cheese (cannot stress enough how important this is, and they do not charge 2 bucks for cheese). The chicken salad is spectacular. Best bang for your buck and a quick lunch. Service is always top-notch here too.

“Sorrentino’s is my favorite place to dine, the food is always great and the atmosphere and staff are wonderful. Had the greatest time at lunch in St. Albert with my brother who is a chef. We both had the chicken parm which was the best anywhere. Highly recommend for a dining experience. ❤️“

“Went for a team dinner and was impressed with service , cozy atmosphere, & food! All 7 people were impressed with their meal and were accommodated when it came to their preferences. Appreciate the location of the restaurant and the small space as it feels a lot more intimate & like you are eating dinner with family. You will find happy families enjoying conversations and their meal - don’t expect it to be quite especially with Italians lol. Menu has a great selection, once again able to give enough variety for 7 unique people. Cannoli with both sauces was absolutely divine but all meals were authentic & looked amazing.“

“Every time we leave Sorrentinos my family and I have to roll out, after our Italian feast. Once I almost needed to be carried. The food is delicious, truly good quality Italian food. I would personally recommend the lasagna, spaghetti carbonara, and veal cannelloni with mushroom cream sauce. The service is sometimes great other times average. Once my grandmother had to call the manager. The service needs to be consistent. The restaurant has a good vibe in terms of ambience, but sometimes it can be a little noisy and a bit crowded in the way some of the tables are placed. Overall, Sorrentinos is a great place for a family get together or somebody looking for some impeccable Italian food.“

“We recently hired Fantasia Caffe & Catering for our wedding. The food was absolutely unbelievable and was enjoyed by even our pickiest eaters aged 8 to 80. We received nothing but positive feedback and will definitely order from them in future. Highly recommend!“

“We have been to Vaticano Cucina a fair amount of times now and always had a great experience, mainly coming here for big events like family birthdays or family gatherings for example.

The atmosphere is nice and service have always been great. It terms of atmosphere it's not too heavily fancy in this place, you can dress casual and fit right in. There are very beautiful murals on the ceilings which are pleasant to look at.

The drinks and food are great, but at this place the food particularly stands out as being delicious. There are many options on the menu. I typically go with pizza, pasta, or principale, my favorites being St. Michael, Pescatore, and Papero Alla Frutta. The deserts are also delicious, the ones I love the most are Creme Brulee, Cheesecake, and Tiramisu, with the Tiramisu being my favorite.“

“Very nice romantic atmosphere, fine dining, great food. Except the Aragosta Risotto. The risotto is delicious, but be aware, the "whole lobster tail" is not lobster at all. It's a very small, 2 inches long tail of a langostino, size of a prawn. For the price of the dish there should be at least 3 of them, or just serve a real whole lobster tail.“
