“The food was very good, however the portion sizes are quite small for the prices. Went with a small group of 4, with a $400 bill and none of us were actually full when all was said and done. There was also a long wait between courses. I would recommend and would go back as the taste was amazing, but would plan better now that I know what we’re getting.“

“We have been enjoying Tasty Tomato since they opened in the 1990s. Hands down the best pasta in Edmonton & better than Italy! Their boscaioli is my partner's favorite, their bruschetta (a non-menu item) is a must, the home made tiramisu is divine & everything is worth at least 1 try -- delicious 😋. Joe is a stellar host & the servers are attentive, but not intrusive. Still trying to get their secret recipes! 😉“

“Read the reviews and saw this place had good reviews so this is mine to add. I was not disappointed. Right from the beginning it was a great atmosphere. Rafat was our server and he is a 5 star plus and beyond. You just don't find service like that these days. Dinner was a bit on the pricey side but was worth it. I felt like having some dessert but didn't know what to order and Rafat said he would make the decision for me and to my surprise he brought out the house made TIRAMISU wow that was good. If you want a beautiful place to and great food this is the place. I will be going back again when I come to the city.“

“Luck brought me to Pasta Brioni. The prospect of eating at another chain restaurant was not appealing. Luckily, I took a look around the plaza and Pasta Brioni was right there calling me.

“Sorrentino’s is my favorite place to dine, the food is always great and the atmosphere and staff are wonderful. Had the greatest time at lunch in St. Albert with my brother who is a chef. We both had the chicken parm which was the best anywhere. Highly recommend for a dining experience. ❤️“

“Don´t get me wrong, but be prepared to eat and be so satisfied with food that you just want to thank every one there so many times. That is the Sorrentino´s Little Italy.
An intimist place with that feeling that you are been embraced by the whole place, lights in the right place, the waiter that just put you in the right place right away and a menu that gives you the chance to eat something delicious each time you ask your food.

That is so amazing that we found this place only a year after coming to Edmonton, we were in the perfect place, with the right food and happy to be there. There are other Sorrentinos around but this one is special and made us feel so nice.

Food? Yes, try the Gamberi Sorrentino, the Gnocchi Gorgonzola and the Canelloni, ask for any wine and just enjoy the place and the food!

“I absolutely love the pasta but unfortunately I would have to say that I would have like to have seen them change there gloves between touching the money from the previous customer and portioning out my vegetables for my create my own pasta dish and then again after I paid and moving to the next person after me. “Very nice romantic atmosphere, fine dining, great food. Except the Aragosta Risotto. The risotto is delicious, but be aware, the "whole lobster tail" is not lobster at all. It's a very small, 2 inches long tail of a langostino, size of a prawn. For the price of the dish there should be at least 3 of them, or just serve a real whole lobster tail.“

“I came for a sit-down dinner and overall the experience was good. The restaurant had a warm, clean atmosphere and it wasn’t too loud, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal.

I ordered the classic breadsticks and a pasta dish, and the food came out hot and fresh. The portions were generous and the garlic bread was one of the best parts of the meal.

The service was mostly good, though the interaction at the end of the meal felt a bit rushed and slightly uncomfortable. I prefer when tipping is left more low-pressure for customers.

Overall, it was a decent experience and I’d come back for the food, but I think the service could feel a little more relaxed for guests.“

“Excellent dining experience spanning service, atmosphere and the food. When walking in you are reminded of being in an old world Tuscany village with earth tones all over the place. The place is really clean too.
I had the tomato bisque as recommended by my lovely server. The soup is creamy and tangy with the right amount of salt. This is a very good zuppa.
The next dish I chose to eat was Roman Style Carbonara inspired by the Gambino boss's favorite meal. The chef was nice enough to accomodate my special request as the restys version had cream in it.
The carbonara's pancetta smoky and meaty. The eggs sauce was perfect.

“My son and I went in for an early dinner on November 12. I really wanted to leave this review because of our server, Katherine E. She was wonderful, personable, polite, friendly, welcoming, on the ball, we wanted for nothing. Her service was totally impreccable and we wanted to make sure that she is recognized for being so amazing at her job. Don't get me wrong, the chicken & gnocchi soup was delish as per usual, the raviollo carbonara still makes my mouth water just thinking about it and their new mango passionfruit iced tea was wonderful addition to the menu, I highly recommend but this review is being written because our server was excellent and sometimes that makes the whole experience.
