McDonald's in Edmonton

“Too salty and no substance. I feel bloated and gross after eating it but I never feel satisfied, I always want more and it makes me want to overeat. The worst part is, it does taste good yet I always feel physically sick after eating it. Too many calories, salt, sugar and fat in a small serving. And the prices are atrocious, why have the prices gone up 100% in 5 years? I can get a bag of grocereis that last several meals for what you pay for one meal here. I only eat here once every couple of months with my kids so this garbage doesn't become a forbidden fruit when they are older.“

“Cyndee ( Management ) is fantastic at what she does. She’s always got a smile on her face and she’s always happy to see customers. Any time I’ve had any issues Cyndee has fixed it and followed up with me to make sure I’m good. I appreciate this in a world that customer service is dying. Give her a raise.“

You kinda know what you’re getting when you’re walking to McDonald’s that’s say that it’s bad but it’s quick food decently clean place and generally good for a quick pitstop. “Monday afternoon I decided to come in for a coffee, the girl at the front counter(she was wearing a black zip up and had a septum) was extremely kind and went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful experience, she even started up a conversation with me! I don’t know if she’s a manager or not but she has a lot of potential and I’d suggest investing in her more! The coffee was wonderful, and the lobby was quite clean for what you’d expect a McDonald’s to look like, overall my best experience at McDonald’s.“

“First time ever feeling welcome at this restaurant. me and my kids moved here from Germany not very long ago. Today When we first walk in we are very warmly greeted by a kind gentleman in a white Shirt and tie. He was.. very very vivacious. I brought my kids just in time to experience the arts and crafts.When i tell you they were entertained they were ENTERTAINED they got to build Christmas ornaments with the gentlemen.“

“When you talk about customer service. This store should be a Canadian standard. Yes, they might have shortcomings during busy hours but they make up for it everytime this thing happens. They always make sure you are happy before leaving their restaurant.“

“It was in the afternoon and the atmosphere wasn't to busy and the staff were all attentive and working hard to get all the orders out that were getting picked up. The food was hot and good this time. The music they have playing too is great.“

“I have only been to this McDonald's a few times based on the location and where I've been on my travels, but, I was satisfied with the service, atmosphere, and food I got. On this visit, I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese McGriddles, which is my breakfast go to. This McDonald's also has a Playplace for the kids, which I am all for, having 2 little ones of my own. “Stopped by this McDonald’s and overall, it wasn’t a bad experience. The service was decent and my order was correct, which is always a plus. The place was clean and the food came out fairly quickly.

That said, the food itself could’ve been made a bit better, definitely had room for improvement in terms of freshness and presentation. It’s not the worst, but there’s potential for it to be much better with a little more care in the kitchen.“

“The app is horrible and made me wait about an hour only to not deliver the order. The manager on duty at night (Punit i think her name was) made sure the order was delivered and sent complimentary food with a handwritten sorry note - that you usually don't get and I appreciate her doing that.“

“Was happy to get to macdonald’s to take a Happy Meal special toy (lil macdonalds) and it was offered to me via self-serving. After ordering I found out that this special toys is out of stock and wasn’t satisfied to not to get something I came for. I addresses this issue to their manager and they offered to pick up toy the next day so they will have new stock. Little detail can make the whole point of visiting such places like MacDonald’s.“

On one visit, JM went above and beyond when we couldn’t find the BTS toy we were looking for. We had already returned to our car feeling a bit disappointed, but JM came out, knocked on our window, and let us know he had called around to other stores. He found one that had the toy in stock and gave us the location so we could go pick it up. It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture—he truly turned our day around!

On another day, Wincy showed the same level of care and dedication. Even during rush hour, he took the time to check the storage for the BTS toy we wanted. He was polite, helpful, and even informed us about the next delivery date, mentioning that the style we were looking for might be included.

“Best McDonald's I have eaten at in awhile. The food was fresh, the fries were crispy and the food is delicious. The staff kept up with cleanliness and creat a warm and inviting atmosphere. “This McDonalds is really nice and one of the only ones that I have been to that has a fireplace! Pretty nice staff that served me quickly and politely. They have a huge parking lot and handicap parking and push buttons for access. The washrooms are clean and have baby changing tables. The interior has almost a designer look. A nice place to take a group our just grab a quick meal.

Parking: Lots of parking right beside in the lot. Nice handicap parking spots right next to the door.

Kid-friendliness: This would be a nice space for birthday parties. It can fit large groups and be comfortable.

“You can tell a lot but the way a manager trains a new hire. The new young man they've hired at this McDonald's did an amazing job with a smile. Got my order quick. Heard the manager complimenting the new staff and I just gotta stop and applaud that. Great work everyone“

“Have been too ALL McDs at Different times of the day & Night hard to keep them separated in my Mind usually the staff are very beautiful Not all ways Up Beat but it's Hard to stay Up Beat when People Come 2 the counter or Windows in ALL sorts of states with Various problems & they Like 2 tell the Staff at the Counters or Windows there Problems & some times show them.

Dietary restrictions: NO buns NO pickles NO Tomatoes & Ketchup Options or change the Buns NO mustard NO idea why I always forget that one, NO onions hay Cooked Onions would be Nice maybe even Microwave the Onions with a good fan system to save the eyes.

Parking: Wheel chair spots are a blessing when No other spots available in some other Places Good Thing I have a Sign 4 my Window especially 4 when I drive People with Canes & Walkers & people like me who limp a bit.

Kid-friendliness: Seems like NO special Things 4 kids Any more ALL most ever Where But we are ALL there 2 Eat Aren't We.

Wheelchair accessibility: As above + Cement Ramps usually in good 2 great shape Automatic Doors Nice Wider then Normal Bathroom Doors some Are Even Automatic nice accessible tables NOT 2 close Not 2 far from each Other & some 2 most are Movable 4 Larger Families & Parties.“

“This 5 star review is for Stephen and the Shania Twain boots, my bestie Kimmy and I came specifically for the boots and our dear friend Stephen said there was 2 left. The boots were forgotten to be put in the bag and we didn’t realize till we got home. I called McDonald’s and asked for Stephen and he apologized and said we can come back to pick them up. “New Design inside. Has more seating than some new McDonald's Inside is clean and bright. Therr are no more soft drink(pop) machine in the dining area anymore. But it does have Ketchup and Napkins which is much better than some McDonald's don't have it outside. They deliver the food to your table so you don't need to stand around to wait. Today service is good, quick and food is hot and fresh.“

“This McDonald's is a small outlet located in the busy food court of West Edmonton Mall. Despite the long queue (which is expected at a place like WEM), the service was impressively fast and efficient. “Got a puppy patty in a platter??, quarter cheese, 20 mcnuggets. I asked for the avocado ranch sauce from the new chicken wrap. ? won't be asking for that again... Thank goodness I got a hot mustard dip. Overall it's a good drive thru. Service was great!

Parking: Very hard to get a king cab thru the very tight lanes, and the parking was cramped to get parked in a spot. Very busy so not many spaces to choose from.“

“For a very busy fast food place, it's nice the food is served hot, and in a pretty timely manner. Been here a few times and its constantly been a decent stop after getting groceries at Walmart. The staff seem to have remembered McDonald's old motto, that smiles are free.

Parking: This McDonald's is inside Walmart, so it's a big walmart parking lot

“We went thru the drivethru at the meadowlark location,Staff was very cheerful and friendly,We had to wait a few minutes for our food so it was nice and fresh,Our only complaint is we ordered the orange juice with our breakfast and it was disgusting, tasted watered down with no flavor,All three of us never finished drinking it.“

“This restaurant is owesome. It is clean , coffee is freshly brewed and the food is good. What impressed me most are the friendly and happy team working there. It is a busy restaurant, and all staff have to work hard to meet the demand. They greet customers with genuine and sincere smile which is not easy to find even in restaurants where customers are expected to pay minimum 15 to 20% tips, not to say in fast food restaurant where staff won't get any tips. “A noticeable improvement has happened over the last handful of months. The few times my daughter and I have come in to share French fries- the dining room has been consistently cleaner than pre-summer visits. The ladies working are always friendly and they make sure this mama has a well stirred and fresh coffee.

But what makes the 5 star difference is my experience with ordering two drinks on Uber yesterday. There was ice in a drink that was specified to have no ice. After a quick phone call to the restaurant (I also gave praise for sending a phenomenal coffee - seriously - thank you for STIRRING!!), the manager quickly and pleasantly informed me I could stop by for a LARGE replacement drink. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it there yesterday, no big deal... I ordered the same order this morning - low and behold - my drink is a large, not the small that I had paid for, and there's no ice! Another phone call was made to thank the team for the outstanding customer service and the same lady simply said "I saw you didn't come yesterday"

Outstanding. A small gesture like that is huge to someone who has 20+ years with customer service, let alone with about 8 of those from McDonalds when I was much younger.

“The man walking around called “uncle” is very nice and friendly. Not the greatest at mopping as he’s literally pushing the mop around in the same spot or dragging it around lol. Unfortunately some customers were rude to him. This place has their bathrooms locked up and good luck with the soda machines. At least Uncle walks around and asks if you’re doing okay. It can feel a bit annoying or claustrophobic if you’re socially awkward like me as someone is literally walking around the restaurant and just doing their job. Never had an issue with this location. Just be nice and respectful to people and staff.

New renovation looks like they just flipped the layout a bit and got rid of the few tables in the middle for better seating. Typical new style getting rid of the refill machines. 😞The play area also got an upgrade. Just make sure to wash your kids hands as I doubt the new play area gets sanitized very often. Staff are super friendly and helpful when I show up at 9am. The watermelon splash is super sugary and so is the teriyaki burger when I ordered delivery later on. Holy moly there was so much sauce on it the mayo was overpowered and disappeared lol. The ratio of sauce really needs some work because it was drenched in sauce. The cotton candy shake was also super sugary and sweet. Nothing wrong with the drinks but just something to consider if your sugar levels cannot handle the amount in these drinks. They’re too sweet for me but I do like trying new things. 👍“

“I went to this location yesterday on July 14 around 12pm I had really great service. The staff was so friendly and helpful. “June 23/24 Come here somewhat frequently & I find these guys to be pretty great & quick when I mobile order my food. They seem to know my order & make it fresh which is what I love & especially I LOVE HOW THEY MAKE THE SPLASH DRINKS, with just the right amount of syrup. The one thing I won’t understand is why Sundays though they never have the splash drinks available in the evening, but other than that, I actually find this place really good, unlike some other places…. Like the one on Tamarack way which has a better rating but recent reviews say otherwise“
