“My husband and I celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary dinner here and had a wonderful experience. The food was exceptional and each dish was full of flavour. I’ve never made calamari so I don’t know if it’s hard to get it right as I’ve had really tough and rubbery calamari. Sabor’s was exquisite and perfectly done. It was the best meal we’ve had. The staff were friendly, and professional. Our waiter was outstanding, very attentive and certainly competent. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! Treat yourself and go.“

“Went to Hayloft in early August, on a Tuesday night. Ordered the Denver and the strip loin, with a side of Parmesan fries and wedge salads. The whole meal was AMAZING! Most tender steak ever. Loads of shaved Parmesan on the fries. TWO 1/4 head wedges per plate with a light, tangy dressing that had a slightly salty spike from the blue cheese and lots of pieces of real smoked bacon. The Denver is a shoulder cut marinated and fall off your fork tender and flavourful. The mushroom risotto was creamy with a slightly hard core, and lots of mushrooms. The sharp lime tang of the lightly charred, yet firm cauliflower was a perfect counterpoint to the risotto. Even though the server was still training, she was personable and knowledgeable, and willing to find the answers to question on the menu if she did not know them. Cocktails were original. Portions were large, served very warm. I finished with an Earl Grey tea. This was the clincher to detail for me. The tea was loose leaves in a strainer inside a stoneware pot. This keeps the water hot and allows a good steep. The only place in western Canada that I can get a good steep in a restaurant! Prices are in the upper range, but reasonable for the quality and proportions. Truly a 5-star gem!“

“My husband and I were looking to have a nice dinner together whilst trying to kill time waiting on family. We had finished our meal and were just having coffee (a standard with us post dinner) and we were approached by the manager asking us if we could accommodate a table that was reserved up top where we were, and he would relocate us to another spot. We had absolutely no issues with that, especially since we were killing time. They moved everything for us and luckily the same waitress even came by in not even her section, just to check on us; which as a past serve I know can be hard but it was acknowledged and appreciated. And on top it all they discounted our bill, which was absolutely unnecessary but GREATLY appreciated. 10/10 will be back to this location, just due to the service alone. Highly recommended. “this place has the yummiest food ever, you can tell it was made with care, the server is a sweet man who always made me feel welcomed when i would come here as a youth very hungry after practice. 10 years later they still mean so much to me and i see them every time i visit Edmonton. you cant buy atmosphere you just have to have it, and this place has the most relaxing and calm one I've ever experienced. the jasmine tea is always the perfect temp, the food tastes better than anything i can find in BC and i still wish i could walk down the street and grab some of his ice cream chocolate pears but i cant these days. i miss this place a lot im so happy to see they survived covid. 10/10 i have taken all my family here and even my nana ( who hates new food) loved this place. bring your family, sit and eat good food, this place has such a glow from the inside and charm. you cant buy that anywhere else. “My husband and I ordered take out for a busy week so we could have a lazy day and then some leftovers- and this restaurant was a great choice! Great service, lots of options and quick pick up time. The food was hot and delicious. We got the chicken pad Thai, ginger beef, chicken balls, bbq pork, Vietnamese rolls and beef chow mein. I would highly recommend the ginger beef, chow mein, chicken balls and rolls! There is still some things we would like to try on the menu. We will for sure be returning customers!“

“Pretty good overall my steak was amazing I got a New York strip loin medium rare and had the sushi as a appetizer a bit pricy for the sushi 20$ for around 8 Pisces and the steak was around 60$ it’s a good steakhouse and oyster bar but I would say bit overpriced in my opinion. I had the tenderloin and the awesome waiter prepared my peppercorn sauce table side! My wife had the mushroom risotto and we shared the cheesy mashed potatoes. I ordered the meal for 1 that comes with chicken balls, spring rolls, fried rice,I got ginger beef but you can choose one of selected meat.

Can't beat the flavor, quality and best of all it was all for under 20 bucks with a drink.

The vibe could use some music even just instrumental light music to liven up the space but other than that it was great.“

“Consistently good and fair priced chicken. Can't go wrong with basically anything on the menu, the only thing I can't speak for is the seafood. Usually get the spicy tenders meal but the chicken sandwich is probably the best out of all the chains. Only one with a blackened chicken sandwich option too as far as I know. Sauces are quite good too, recommend the buffalo and honey mustard most.

Wings are good but too expensive for the portions I think. Great and unique fries.

Service is always friendly and fast but sometimes has forgotten items/given us the wrong ones and occasionally without receipt.

If you're planning to pick up KFC on the way home, do yourself and your loved ones the favour of coming here instead. Your taste buds will thank you.“
