“Panda House is quiet with relaxing music and a dark interior, definitely perfect for a quiet outing for lunch or dinner. As someone who is Gluten free I can only comment on that menu, which is separate and must be asked for (though, many items on the main menu are also gluten free too;) the Fried rice and Rice Noodle combination options are my favorite, and though I haven't tried many items, the friends and family I go with tell me the other options are great too. Staff at Panda House are very quick, though I may be biased because we always show up at hours of low traffic, you will definitely get to know the few people who do work there at the front as very nice to speak with! Lastly, with my experience, I find that wait time for tables are never an issue and food does not take long at all to prepare (again, note possible bias here.) All and all, Panda House is a pleasant place to go to, and I've gone three or four times in the last 60 days!“

“I was in the mood for Chinese food and decided to give Hunan Garden 2 a try. From the outside, the place looks a little rough, and the interior is very basic. There’s one table and the rest of the space is wide open, so it’s clearly more focused on takeout than dine-in. That said, where this place truly shines is in the food.

We called in our order ahead of time, and when I arrived, I was greeted by a young lady who appeared to be the owner’s daughter. I told her who I was and what I was there to pick up, and she was very kind, polite, and welcoming. She even asked if we needed any extra sauces before going straight to work gathering our order.

We ordered beef lo mein, beef fried rice, sesame chicken, and vegetable fried rice. The portions were large, very filling, and well worth the price. The flavors were bold, fresh, and absolutely delicious—everything tasted like it was made with care.

“Staff is super friendly. I’ve been to the downtown and Hoover location and by far this is the best one in terms of food quality and service. Placed an online order and showed up super early because we thought they were closing soon— the manager gave us a free egg roll. One of the staff members even brought out our food to the car while we waited, which was incredibly nice of her since I’m 8 months pregnant!!“

“I have a mixed review. The Crab Rangoon and Hot/Sour soup were excellent; hot and fresh. Bang Bang chicken and egg rolls were cold. I ordered takeout in person at the restaurant at 11:10 am shortly after opening. The restaurant wasn’t busy, yet I was told it would take 15 minutes. That’s standard for all takeout orders so no problem. However, with the wait I expected EVERYTHING to be hot and fresh. To end on a positive note, the flavor of everything was good, even the cold items once heated. 2 egg rolls, bang bang chicken appetizer, hot and sour soup and crab Rangoon (5) totaled $32…a little pricey for a Chinese lunch.“

“My husband and I love Golden City! We started going 3 years ago, and it has consistently been our favorite place in the area. We love their sushi rolls, sweet and sour chicken, and hibachi. “I will never order from this place due to the lack of customer service skills these people have. I have ordered here multiple times with white rice missing from my order. When I call up to inform them that my rice is missing, I am always told to bring my food back up to store and “we will give you white rice”. Well there is a problem with that when I live 30 minutes away, my entire order is going to be cold at that point. They refuse to replace the entire order and do it correctly so all the food will be hot. It seems like this place is ok with screw ups and not doing the right thing. Every order that I place is a minimum of $60. If you are ok with losing a customer, I am ok not ordering from here.“

“Incredible food at great prices! We’ve picked up from Happy China twice. Our order was ready within 20 minutes each time, and the young lady was conversant in English and friendly. The lo mein noodles are thick like they should be. Egg drop soup was yellow and flavorful. Sauces on beef & broccoli and sweet & sour were perfectly savory and tangy. Meat was tender, broccoli was crunchy cooked. Egg roll was delicious. Beats all other Chinese places we’ve had from Valleydale to the Summit.“

Food is not kept under warming lights, so pick up on time or food may get cold. I love their chicken fried rice. The Triple Delight is also good. I do not recommend the Japanese Teriyaki Chicken. It's nothing like the Japanese restaurant. It's very "Chinese-style", in a sauce with green pepper and onion, and tastes only like green pepper.“

The pad thai, garlic eggplant and drunken noodles are also amazing. Prices and portions are very reasonable in my opinion. You will not regret checking this place out.“
