“I was starving yesterday after work. I walked to JR’S.. Closed. Walked over to the Italian resturant… Closed. Walked over to Carlisle’s… closed. So I kept walking until I got to Taqueria Avita and thankfully they were open. I ordered the shredded chicken quesadilla with rice and beans with a tall glass Coca Cola. I tell you it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I received fast, friendly service and the food was on point, amazing!! That glass coke hit the spot too. Fresh avocado and lettuce. Yum! I definitely recommend this restaurant 100% and I just wanted to thank them for saving my sanity yesterday 😆”

The chef at Catherine’s Market supplies them with the best quiches and blueberry muffins— I usually get one of those with an iced honey latte and it makes for the perfect breakfast while I study or do work. “When we arrived, the drive-thru line was pretty long. The people working there this morning were quick with orders, and ours was accurate. I will be back next time I'm in the area.”

“The atmosphere is amazing and I haven’t had anything on the menu that I didn’t like. The smash burger comes highly recommended by me. I know a lot of the younger staff personally and I appreciate the fact that they are out working and learning the value of a dollar. Today though, I overheard a member of management yelling at the kitchen staff for a little mix up on the order placed by someone a few customers in front of me. I have worked for 3 years at a very busy and very popular Lake Martin restaurant and I have never spoken to anyone or heard a member of management speak to anyone like this lady was speaking to her staff today. Mistakes happen but it wasn’t anything that couldn’t be fixed easily. Yelling at the staff is unacceptable and not the way to keep good staff, which is hard to come by these days. HR: Listen closely to the staff’s complaints because they are legit and need to be addressed.”

“When we pulled in to grab our food one of the staff opened the window while complaining that they never get to leave on time loudly to another staff member. If they were supposed to be closing they should be polite and tell the customer rather than complain about it once they can hear you.”
