“My business partner and I chose The Hound for dinner during one of our visits to Auburn recently. We ordered several things to try, including various cocktails, appetizers, a couple of entrees and desserts, and the flavors were perfectly balanced and well presented in every bite and sip. Hunter was our bartender when we arrived at the bar, and he continued to serve us after we were seated for dinner. He was a fabulous mixologist with a great sense of humor who made recommendations that were spot on, answered numerous questions about the offerings and made us feel like one of the locals. But - I noticed that the other bartenders and servers were extending that same hospitality to their guests, so there must be something special about The Hound's culture to make everyone so warm and friendly. We'll be back.”

“I think my visit here was absolutely amazing! The customer service was great! I had asked the waitress if they had Kimbap which they do! I am really greatful for as well. I had ordered two kimbaps for to go. The waitress was very nice and kind!

I think the atmosphere was great over there. I had sat over by the bar and minded my own business. The staff there was very nice as well. Seemed like a very cool and calming place to go to during the weekdays but I think during the weekends could be very enjoyable and fun.

The service time for waiting for my food was very quick! The waitress told me it would take about 15-20 minutes for the kimbaps to be made but I wouldn’t even say it had taken that long to be honest which I was not in a rush, I had all day. The Kimbaps itself were phenomenal and cheap as well as super filling. I would’ve probably gotten away with just ordering one order of it but I really enjoy eating kimbaps. I also was given a side of Kimchi. The kimchi was absolutely amazing, I don’t know if it’s home made but it definitely not store bought kimchi.

I have to give this place a solid 9 out of 10! I definitely need to come back during my days off and actually dine in at this place! If you are concerned about what they serve, I had posted a current menu on this post as well.

“Irritable Bao is delicious!!!! I have never eaten anything that was not good! My favorite is bang bang shrimp and Buffalo Bao. It is impeccably run, the owner is always kind and loves people. Part of the draw is seeing him each time you are there. The college kids can’t get enough. The line is often down the street. Our entire family loves it and eats it every visit which is OFTEN!”

“We were down in Auburn for a basketball game, and looking for a way to kill some time the next day before the drive back home. Found this spot on Google, and now I’m wishing they had one back home in Huntsville. First off, those filet mignon sliders were incredible, perfectly cooked, and could fall apart in your mouth. My fiance got the BLT, and it came out so big that I thought it worked there. It was huge. Like, pays taxes kinda big. The staff was extremely friendly, understanding, helpful, you name it, they nailed it. Wish I could remember the servers name, but I’m terrible at names. But young guy working the lunch shift on 12/18. That dude was great. The best part to us was the lawn golf. Golf has always been mine and my fiances date of choice, so it was already a win in our books. But the lawn golf experience is perfect for both experienced golfers looking to play a different kind of challenge, as well as people who have probably never held a golf club in their life and don’t want to shatter a house window at a yuppie neighborhood course. If we lived closer, we would be back once a week. But until y’all catch on to how great this spot is and they expand up to Huntsville/Madison, we will have to settle with visiting this spot every time we come down for an Auburn game. “Ponko alway has the best chicken. The spicy is my favorite and I love the salads. You can also get chicken wings, tacos, tofu and they also have vegan sandwiches and hot dogs.

I ordered, recieved the meal in a decent amount of time BUT noticed that my BILL included a .45 cent charge that states TAKE OUT and this was one meal over $20. I called back because I didnt notice the charge until I came home. When I called I was told that the Mgr would be with me in 5 mins. 5 mins turned to 17 mins and someone hung up. My time is money and I'm invested at that point. I call back and was told because I ordered steak and the fact they include plastic ware (which I never recieved) that is why it's an upgrade. BTW, they were NOT the Manager, just someone to pass me off on.. It wasnt busy and only had 4 cars in the lot. I simply wanted a professio al person to tell me WHY I'm being charged when I used MY GAS and I even tip at checkout..They dont show you the itemized bill until you've paid ofcourse. This should be posted visibly for customers because I surely could've went to the other Mexican restaurant near the walmart.. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DISMISSIVE. Never again....”

“Sushi Hero is my go-to spot for sushi in Auburn. The sushi is always fresh and consistently comes out in a reasonable amount of time. It’s a reliable place when I’m craving a good roll or two. When my fiancé orders hot dishes like the fried rice or chicken, they usually take a bit longer to come out, but that’s understandable since those items take more time to prepare.

The only reason I’m not giving five stars is the service. It can be a hit or miss depending on which server you get. Some visits have been great while others felt a bit rushed or inattentive. Overall though, the quality of the food keeps us coming back.”

“My daughters and I have been coming here for years whenever we’re craving genuinely good Korean food, especially kimchi. Every time we come the servers are always kind and the food is always delicious and delivered in a timely manner. The waiters are very attentive of our needs and have good recommendations for indecisive customers. The owner is very concerned about customer satisfaction and checks on them to make sure they’re being treated appropriately and are pleased with the food. Easily the best service in town, and I will always recommend Jin’s to another person.”

“Best place for original and unique flavored ice cream. We love the Apple Dumpling, Banana Split, Turtle Sundae, and Hot Fudge Brownie. These items are so delicious and we get full from their decent servings. The shakes are super tasty as well. They have cakes and other specialty items. No indoor seating. All seating is outdoors with ample parking. The staff is courteous and helpful.”

“The workers there are so sweet and helped solve my issue I had today! Somehow my order got lost in translation from the check out to the kitchen and when the place was empty and I didn’t see anything cooking, I was worried and I asked one of the ladies (I wish I got her name because she was lovely) about it and she was super apologetic and gave me a credit to apply the next time I go. She even offered to make me a milkshake when I got my order because of the wait, but I declined that as I already got a soda with my meal. I brought my food back home and it was delicious too! Great customer service and will definitely go back again because of it.”

Lvette though, I’ve seen her working multiple times and she’s always great and clearly good at her job and can definitely uplift me on a bad day when i come! she’s super nice, and my order was spot on accurate. only rating it 4 stars instead of 5 because one or two times the fries tasted a little burnt but it’s been great since then so no harm no foul!”
