“First time visit last night. Holy cow. Talk about amazing food. Ordered the Palmero (sp) pizza and salad. I felt like I was in Italy. The ingredients are so fresh tasting. Cant say enough about their pizza. Thin crust. Able to enjoy the pizza and not have a mouth full of bread. Fast service. Love the professionalism of the owner / bakers. They had on a chef coats and “Italy” caps. The place was extremely clean and VERY inviting. My friend that I went with used the facilités and she came out and was remarking how awesome the bathrooms even were. Def will be eating there again and again. Welcome to Trussville.“

So some of our people were late and they canceled our reservations it’s my Grandson 16th Birthday Party!! I tried to order my Grandson a pizza, I was told it would be 20 minutes for one large pepperoni and sausage pizza after 25 minutes, I was told it would be 20 more minutes, we were all ready having to go find somewhere else to eat!!! We did a few cake tastings in the area and this one was most affordable and best tasting!!! I got traditional white, and then my husband is a big lord of the rings fan and they were open to making this hobbit hole cake based off a Pinterest inspo pic and they did awesome we loved it!!! “We have dined several times with Seasons 52. Last night they were off their game. We had a reservation for 7:00 and did not get seated until 7:34. Our appetizers came out in a timely manner, but we waited over an half hour for our entrees after they were served. We asked the server what was wrong and she said, “it's just a busy Saturday night.” We out eat there on Saturday night and by the time our entrees were served there were empty tables everywhere. The server then later said she asked why our entree took so long and she was told they ran out of 8oz filets and had to cut some more. What?? I ordered the 6 oz. filet and my husband ordered the 8oz filet and when they came they were the exact same size. We were offered no compensation for getting seated late or our meal taking so long. The food was good. We will come back again, but if we receive that same service with excuses again, then we won't.“

The dishes I got were very nice and whoever wrapped it up showed such care and diligence, the sushi had a rubber band on the takeout container to make sure it didn’t open up or leak, I got two fried dishes being calamari and the fried dumplings, they even cut a vent hole to make sure it didn’t get soggy. I also got the fried tempura cheesecake and it was delightful. Definitely a 10/10“

“Yesterday was my first time at Olexa’s and the experience was great. Our waitress was very helpful with her recommendations for a first-timer. She recommended the Smoked Turkey Sandwich with a side salad. It was delicious and came out quickly given there was a full house at lunchtime. We also had a slice of the quiche of the day which was delicious also. By the end of my meal, I was very full but of course, there’s always room for dessert. She raved about the cake and yes, I had a slice of the warm buttercream cake. It was so good. I’ve been raving about Olexa’s since yesterday and will return with family and friends.“

“Gotta say a big thank you to Jim ‘n Nick’s BBQ in Athens, GA. I drove through there, hoping to get the awesome sounding baked potato that is described on their menu. After ordering my kiddo’s chicken fingers, I asked for the potato only to be told they had run out of them for the night. 😞 when I pulled up to pick up our food,  the chef (Matt) had found out that I had really wanted a potato and so he gave me one for free. That makes potato might’ve been part of his employee meal he was taking home. I don’t know but that gentleman made my night.  by the way, the potato is very good, but the service was even better!“
