“Incredible experience! I would give 6 stars if I could. This restaurant was recommended to us by a family friend and it did not disappoint. 3 course meal- started with the scallops (which were to die for) and a delicious crispy fish/rice, then salads, then panko crusted fish and halibut for our entrees. The donut and popcorn ice cream for dessert were also so unique and delicious! Our server, Mark, was excellent- very attentive and kind, we enjoyed our conversation with him! The atmosphere was great too. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.“
“What an amazing place with so much of Mobiles Irish love! Fun place that has a lot of live music and fun filled events all year around. We had the burgers and Po’boys (blackened) with the artichoke and spinach dip to start (absolutely KILLER). They have indoor and outdoor seating with road side parking. Definitely a place you want to try if you are looking for some good mobile food.“
“My husband and I stopped in on our way to Florida. The service was so fast and courteous. The restaurant and restrooms were so clean. The food was perfectly seasoned, melt in your mouth meats. So much food too. We took half of it with us.“
“We had dinner at Dauphin’s last night and it was absolutely wonderful. Every aspect of the service, food, and atmosphere was wonderful! 4 stars for atmosphere just because it appears that if you have a party larger than 2, you can’t sit next to the window for the view. Not a huge deal. Our server Harley was knowledgeable, friendly, and so personable, we already can’t wait to come back and ask for her!!! Thanks for a lovely evening!“
“Cozy, intimate, great little space. Food can be ordered from The Noble South menu which is next door and owned by the same people. Randy Jennings is the manager and master mixologist for Sidecar. He makes excellent custom cocktails. Highly recommend.“
“Bob's is very casual, welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed above average bloody Mary's and ordered catfish and grits, soooo good! The catfish was cooked perfectly, crisp and not oily at all. The staff was very prompt and helpful. Note: We returned the next morning“
“Hosted a business dinner here and it was wonderful! Not too stuffy, local but quality food and good wine/drink selection. Dinner was a bit slow to come out but there was also another large party that arrived close to the same time...I would imagine that was a factor. But we enjoyed multiple appetizers, bottles of wine, entrees and desserts...Everything was delicious and shared.“
“Incredible experience at Pour Baby. As a French, their choices of wine is very impressive and very good too (my advice : Calling Pinot noir - Russian River)The food is also very good, fresh products and a very good quality ! I came there two times during a week vacations and it was perfect ! (For the food, you should try the Asian Tacos, it’s delicious !)“
“So we were in town for a show at the civic center. We originally were going to eat at Loda across the street. But that place was a **** show. So we walked across to TPs. We were immediately greeted by one of the waitresses, told we would be seated shortly. Very shortly was seated with Courtney. She was very friendly and knowledgable about the menu. We asked for drinks and they were perfect. It was about 5 o’clock and not so busy, but out of no where(assuming from the show) it got super busy. The owner was an elderly gentleman that reminded me of my pops and came to greet us. Super awesome to see him helping the wait staff too which is super uncommon. Food was really good. We ordered a Philly and jambalaya pasta with queso and chips. Soooo goood!!! The drinks were delicious. I am only writing this review because of two things. 1. The wait staff and restaurant handled getting busy like an absolute pro!!! 2. Because we were originally going to Lodas across the street because I read the reviews and was like they seem like that got something going on over there. Boy was I glad we gave this place a shot. 11/10“
“The food is always cooked just right. My wife and I like crispy bacon and extra crispy hash browns, the crunch was delightful and oooh so flavorful! We played some tunes on the juke box and the manager turned the volume up so we could Jam Out while Baby Boy got some good waffle eating practice!!“
“Stopped here for lunch before a meeting. It is a dive, but the food was amazing! Our waitress was very sweet and made great recommendations. The three of us each got a wrap, two were on the menu as sandwiches but able to have as a wrap. The sauces were all delicious, as were the Sweet potato waffle fries- perfectly salty and crispy! The art was interesting, and we sat inside, although there is a nice courtyard patio out back. We left full and happy!“
“Found this gem driving from Atlanta to New Orleans. Shrimp Bisque and the Gumbo was out of this world! Fried Oysters and shrimp were awesome as well. Talli May (the Shrimp Lady) and her staff were so nice and accommodating. She even gave us samples of everything we asked about. Will always stop here from now on!“
“The Royal Knight is a dimly lit dive bar that serves great lunches. It’s never busy so easy to get in and out quickly. During the week they have daily specials but the menu items are also good. They specialize in typical southern cuisine. My son loves the pork chops or chicken bites. The pork chops come with sides and the chicken bites (small fried white meat pieces) are more of an appetizer but you get plenty. Dipped in bbq they are amazing. I’ve tried their spaghetti and their hamburger steak and both are really good. The hamburger steak is a regular menu item but the spaghetti isn’t. Highly recommend for a good lunch.“
“Love it sensational, one thing for sure I’m going eat , and this place is conveniently located by Publix. Which is Great! You will live it , they are friendly and fast . Fresh fresh for anyone dieting get your protein. Oh download the app and scan and earn free food , like Chick-fil-A ,oh they are also like Chick-fil-A they are closed on Sundays“
“This is a great little place all the way to the beach if you’re going through Mobile. It is all the water right off the Bay bridge. They have a nice menu ranging from seafood to sandwiches. The oysters and sides are particularly delicious. I love the Memphis slaw and no that’s made without mayonnaise - it is primarily an oil/vinegar dressing. You can call ahead and have food ready for takeout if you don’t have time to sit and enjoy the view.“
“Fish 'n chips and porter on a cool rainy day in Mobile. Whats not to love!I've spent a decent amount of time in the UK and Ireland. The fish at Iron Hand reminds me of fish I've had from the corner shop in St George's Market in Belfast, and the design/styling of the pub here is an appropriately modern version of pubs I've visited across the Republic of Ireland,“
“I absolutely love this place! This little hidden gem is on Old Shell Rd., adjacent from Dew Deop Inn, and let me tell you, this place is amazinggggg!!!! The food is amazing, especially the spinach dip. The spinach dip was the best spinach dip I've ever had. And the bread they have to go with it is sooooo gooooddddddd. The Mid Town Dip is soooo gooodddd as well. The roast beef and the dipping sauce are just perfect!!! The green beans are to die for!!! They are too good. They used to have collard greens that were to die for, but no, the green beans are just too good and perfect!!!! This place is just a vibe. It used to be a pharmacy, but it has that kind of an old timey feel to it with a modern twist. And Elizabeth was freaking amazing. She was so sweet, kind, attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable. She was so friendly and personable. She talked to us, gave us some amazing suggestions, and she was just so nice. She is honestly one of the best bartenders we've ever had/encountered. She's just one of those people that you would love to be friends with, you know? Nixon's also has a lot of good beers on tap, too. The Blue Steel beer was phenomenal and a great suggestion from Elizabeth!!! 10/10 definitely recommend this place!!“
“Third visit and I decided to do food. I've heard from souls inside and out about the Wings, and in general, their food. I decided to tru the Wings, if a bar messes up wings then, the rest is a sheet show. We had the opportunity to be taken care of by Elise, she pays attention to all her guests all whilst having conversations and the best part is that she remembers her guests names and makes it a point to build some rapport. It's the small things that matter in a BIG way! The Wings were juicy and flavorful, all that talk turned out to be true!, awesome! The whole establishment quite unique, strewn with dollar bills stuck to the walls and...each one has a Note Written on it. If you pay attention, there are so many stories being told in this bar. The feel is divey and at the same time it's not, this is difficult to pull off! I will say this! These are the BEST WINGS MOBILE! They are fresh, not frozen, the sauces are delicious (it has depth and umami) and the size of the wings are value for your money. Next meal here will be a Burger . Stay tuned for the consensus! They have 5 Burgers with limitless combinations.“
“Food and service was great... place was almost full parking is limited but we did find a spot and the spots are the right size .. not to tight ... easy to park and get in and out of the car...we had a great time. I plan on going back ....Kid-friendliness: The waitress was super... she didn't rush us and checked on us often“
“The Dew Drop Inn is a culinary gem nestled in the heart of Mobile, Alabama, boasting a legacy as the oldest restaurant in the area. Renowned for its world-famous hotdogs, this establishment is a haven for food enthusiasts seeking a taste of tradition with a dash of innovation. From the moment you step through the doors, the inviting ambiance and friendly staff make you feel right at home. “Came here after Joe Cain day and for the super bowl.Inside had over an hour wait, which was to be expected but was able to sit outside immediately. My date is from New Orleans and was impressed with the spice of the red beans and rice.I had the Gulf Shrimp and fries basketEven with the amount of people, the food came out super quick. Staff was pleasantThe only drawback was there was only 3 sides: fries, Coleslaw and baked beans. Some kind of greenery would've been nice“
“This pub sets customers up with a friendly atmosphere. We were traveling through and stopped in for a quick dinner. The pub was busy, but a customer had room at their table and invited us to share the space. The food was good and the service was friendly. I have a food allergy and the kitchen was very accommodating. We will stop by again on our next trip!“
“I had only heard tales of this magical place, but wasn't sure what I was getting myself into when I arrived. I didn't see the name posted on any plaque outside the building, however, the vibe felt right even before entering. The lights were as low as the hum of casual conversations floating through the air. I was greeted with a smile as if I was an old friend, and a seat was made for me at the bar in an instant. With plenty of room to mingle, dance, ample seating, a fairly large stage and all the expected accouterment adorning it's perimeter, this was certainly a chill place to party. 10 out of 10. Would recommend.“
“Tried this for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. The interior is nothing special and comes across as just a fast food restaurant. You order at the counter and service your own drinks. This is fine for a quick lunch. The service at the counter was friendly and helpful A++. The food was very reasonable, I ordered grilled fish and shrimp which came with 2 sides for about $10. It included grilled onions and peppers and a small “salad”. Everything was delicious and I will be back.“
“My first time there, took my daughter there with me. I had the Curry Chicken with Mac & cheese, she had the J*** Chicken with cabbage. The food was delicious & the young man serving the food by himself had such a great attitude & we will be back...“
“Every item I've ordered has been delicious. Large portions. They serve every thing from southern cuisine to seafood. They serve a special each day of the week. Serving staff are extremely friendly and efficient. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible.“
“Placed a fairly large order for my team at work on a Saturday. Order was ready within 30 minutes and everything was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!! If you been sleeping on this place, TIME TO WAKE UP! The food was great, the team was super cool, and the atmosphere is awesome. Definitely a good spot for anyone looking to have some great food and support a small business. 10/10“
