“I ordered to of the #6 specials which was burgers, my two loved it. The burgers was homemade and nice size. It was worth it. I ordered a sampler for myself which was 2 ribs with bone, chopped BBQ, and 1/4 chicken which was the breast and wing, with Mac n cheese, and Baked beans.
Now my ribs was kinda on the dry side, the chopped BBQ was about the same, so I skipped out on trying the chicken. The Mac n cheese was a disappointment, just broke my little heart!. The bake beans was ok.
I can't say I won't visit anymore, but I will not be going out my way to go there.“

“Gotta say a big thank you to Jim ‘n Nick’s BBQ in Athens, GA. I drove through there, hoping to get the awesome sounding baked potato that is described on their menu. After ordering my kiddo’s chicken fingers, I asked for the potato only to be told they had run out of them for the night. 😞 when I pulled up to pick up our food,  the chef (Matt) had found out that I had really wanted a potato and so he gave me one for free. That makes potato might’ve been part of his employee meal he was taking home. I don’t know but that gentleman made my night.  by the way, the potato is very good, but the service was even better!“

The food was extraordinary and the staff that came to help serve was phenomenal-very kind and so helpful. “The food is good. Everything else is so-so. You order your food at the counter. It's noisy so it's hard to hear what the person taking your order is saying. Then you go to a different counter to pay. They don't give any instructions to do this. For dine in, you get your food like it is take out. At the different counter where you pay. No servers coming by to offer anything. If you don't know, you don't know. For my first time here, I was surprised that they offered no assistance or recommendations whatsoever. Again for dining in, it's noisy.“
