“Best brunch I’ve had in years (& I brunch often). The restaurant is in a cool area, had a great atmosphere with a fun attentive staff, and most importantly delicious food. We had the bottomless tapas brunch with complementary mimosas. We enjoyed the variety of tapas options and nothing disappointed. My delightfully full stomach forced me to stop, but some standouts were the Lox, Fried Green Tomatoes, Steak & Gouda Biscuits, French Toast, Jalapeño Bacon, and exquisite Beignets. It’s a modest sized place, so make a reservation and thank me later!“

“We had our besties birthday get together there Saturday night and this place DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!! It was literally perfect from the bubble machine to dressing up as Elvis to playing cards against humanity. Literally perfection! The owner is absolutely amazing and came in clutch for our group! “Went to 2 different locations before visiting Prive/Palace. You get entry to the restaurant for free and the club in back for $10. Security will check you before entering and parking spaces were nice.
The bartender was very nice and the people eating were also very nice. We ate wings, fries, catfish nuggets and had some drinks in between visits to the back club“

“Our waitress was great. We have the fried pimento balls. Which were great! They came with two dipping sauces. One was a hot sauce(not a fan), and the Other was a ranch that was tasty.
I had a Salmon wrap I didn't like the texture of the things going on in it. So I switched it for the Honey mustard wrap which was way better. Everything else was great. Favorite drink was the Honeysuckle.“

“We arrived late and had a few drinks but I loved this spot. Not too big of a space, but it was very intimate, and the live music was everything. The singer and band on stage were very talented and did an excellent job on their cover of some classics. Will definitely visit again.“
“All around experience was phenomenal! The name of the club was perfect, theme song for the night was "Issa Vibe". Reserved one of the birthday sections, which was beautiful. The whole club is nicely decorated, even the outdoor stage and seating area continued the nice laid back ambiance. The staff was friendly and accomadating, security was attentive and welcoming, Bando the DJ kept the vibe going reading the room well. Last but not least when the food truck opened up, we started dancing all over again when he brought the plates to wings and fries were on point.The review is a little long, but I wanted to express how much fun I had at such an awesome venue, we will definitely be back. The people, the venue, the entire staff are all a whole vibe!! Thank you, thank you and thank you, my birthday celebration was amazing!“

“A group of us 4 ladies had so much fun at Parkside on 5th. We met Tim, the owner and he was delightful. The food and drinks were yummy and the atmosphere was perfect. I will be back. And oh, did I mention the candles? I bought several candles from Tim and they all smell delicious. I am a candle hoarder and these are the BEST. Thanks Tim for the cocktails and conversation!“

“If you like to get out and grab a drink from time to time this is a great place to visit! The atmosphere is unmatched compared to a few other places I've visited. It's for older crowds though it's rarely crowded; the drinks are always good and they cater to football fans.“
“Always great service and top notch selection. My wife and I consider it our favorite spot for a night cap. We actually ate dinner 5 mins from home, then drove 15 mins downtown just to come here because nowhere else would do on a special occasion.“

“Harry and Billy's is a great place to have drinks or come sing karaoke . Ms. Darlene ( aka mama) is the best bartender in Bessemer in my opinion. Drink prices are good .pool tables with tourneys are held here a few days a week. They have game night on Tuesday I believe. Trading paint was filmed here . Everyone is welcome.( just be nice.) Food is NOT served here you are welcome to order to here or bring your own.“

“bartenders are great. food is great. they have karaoke on Wednesdays and maybe other nights as well I'm not sure. they stay open till 2:00 a.m. which is great if you want to go somewhere after work. it's very laid back environment. they have a couple of pool tables and darts and multiple restrooms which is great for a bar instead of a line.“

“Visiting here from Pittsburgh, Pa. Great little sandwich shop…had the Camilla. I have to say it was the best sandwich I’ve ever had! Friendly atmosphere and wonderful service. I will be back on my next visit!!!“
“A real bar with real people. Not quite "Cheers" but plenty of regulars that create a kind of family atmosphere. Drinks are stiff and affordable, the jukebox holds a lot of classics, the decorations are quirky, and guests as well as staff are welcoming and friendly. Not ADA compliment and no one under the age of 21 is admitted.The bar is a little too simple, too worn, and too divy to deserve a 5 star rating but that doesn't mean that you cannot have a 6 star experience at this place“

“We were visiting Birmingham and stopped by this place. The blackened shrimp has nice flavor, well seasoned. I loved crust on the spinach patties. The peas and rice was tasty. Make sure to ask for the gravy if you like them a little saucy. Make sure you stop by and give this place a try.“

“We visited this renovated food hall on our way out of Birmingham. The space itself is really cool and features some great food options. I had the poke and a bubble tea, which were both delicious. There is seating inside the hall and in the attractive patio space outside. Fun spot for a quick lunch!“
