“Was working in Tuscaloosa and a restaurant with a two hour wait recommended the River. We had the steak filet and the seared tuna. Both dishes were absolutely amazing. The service was outstanding and the whole experience was just classy and comfortable. Brussel sprouts were on special for an appetizer, they were the best we’ve ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“The food was modestly priced, which I appreciated, but the skin on the plantation sausage was really hard. Also, the place had a faint smell of mildew.
The waiter was great and super friendly. We were thankful that there was a place open so early! I teach school, so it's hard for me and my fiance to find somewhere to sit down and eat in the morning before work. I will be going back.“

“For a dining hall, it is way above average. Additionally, unlike Fresh Foods, it is open for dinnertime as well as on the weekends. The food is great but I will admit that this place has tough competition. Location can also be a hassle for those who do not live and/or go to classes nearby. Other than that, great.“

“This was my first time at Ttown cafe and I am very blown away!! The food was amazing and very fresh. I love good southern food and being away from home for school, this gets my soul food craving in. Will the owner was so polite and inviting and checked on us several times. Charity our serving was very bubbly and sweet! So say the least this might just be my new favorite spot in town.“

“Had a 10/10 dinner experience! We ordered the mozzarella wedges, the ribeye with the twice baked potato casserole, and the bread pudding for dessert. I also had the Lovetini to drink which was delicious. Everything was cooked absolutely perfectly and came out quickly. Service was awesome.“

“I never write reviews, but the service and server was horrible. To forgetting things we asked for when taking our orders, to getting rude when asking for the things we asked for when we ordered our food. Brought our checks out , and then said she had to add gratuity, even tho one of my friends had already paid her ticket. She voided it out, and gave her the new ticket. Charged me gratuity on the 2 To-Go orders I had on my ticket. Thank goodness the manger split the Check up. The server was literally talking over my friend that was with us that was explaining the problems we were experiencing, and the manager finally told her to leave the conversation. We love the Gardendale location, we always go there with my daughter's whole ball team, and never once were we charged gratuity, and the service and food have always been excellent. The manager said, it was from corporate is the reason for mandatory gratuity for people 6 and over. Totally not true!!! Would NOT recommend the Tuscaloosa Mugshots!!!“

“Probably my favourite place to eat on campus. The food is always great and enjoyable. There Is a huge variety of that and everyone can find something that they love. Sometimes it is hard to find seats during busy hours, but otherwise it is just great!“

“Had decided to try catch a taste west. Didn’t get pictures of my food but got some nice pictures of the restaurant. The food was good though but I think I still prefer catch a taste east because the food tastes a little better. But I think I’m give the 1 on the west a couple more tries before I truly make my mind up because it’s more convenient. I would still totally recommend give catch a taste west a try

“First time in Tuscaloosa for Bama football vs. Georgia. There was a wait but not bad considering how many people were there for the game. Service was great, drink service came quick and often. We had wings and pickle fries. Wings were so good we order another batch! Great sauce! Clean bathrooms!“

“You must try the Black & Blue Flatbread. By far my favorite selection on the menu. Also great place to get a good burger. Service is sometimes slow due to them being busy & not enough waiters or waitresses. Food and atmosphere is great!“

“Stopped off at 2pm. Greeted by a very nice man and seated immediately. After our drink order we received chips and salsa. Salsa very good, would be nice if tort chips had been warm. Ordered shrimp quesadilla and it was very good. The shrimp were nicely grilled. Side of guacamole was fresh and delicious. Young lady who cashed us out friendly and professional. I reside in Texas and will tell you Foster’s Mi Pueblito can hang with any of the Mexican restaurants in the DFW area.“
