“Was working in Tuscaloosa and a restaurant with a two hour wait recommended the River. We had the steak filet and the seared tuna. Both dishes were absolutely amazing. The service was outstanding and the whole experience was just classy and comfortable. Brussel sprouts were on special for an appetizer, they were the best we’ve ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Big Mike’s Steakhouse is THE BEST!!!!! I order the filet (cooked medium) with a salad and baked potato EVERY time and it is to-die-for!!! We also get the fried crab claws as an appetizer and they’re delish! Other items worth mentioning that we’ve had as a family are the red snapper (bienville), the snow crab legs, the teriyaki chicken breast (SO tender and good!), the fried mushrooms, and their bread with cinnamon butter. Note: If going on a Friday or Saturday night, be sure to go early to avoid the wait.“

“The place I eat at the most on campus. Breakfast menu is satisfactory. Lunch is always the best time to go, I recommend Burrito Bowl Tuesdays and Steak Fridays. Just make sure to avoid the noon crowd. Recently started a dinner menu with rotating options from across various cultures.“

“I never write reviews, but the service and server was horrible. To forgetting things we asked for when taking our orders, to getting rude when asking for the things we asked for when we ordered our food. Brought our checks out , and then said she had to add gratuity, even tho one of my friends had already paid her ticket. She voided it out, and gave her the new ticket. Charged me gratuity on the 2 To-Go orders I had on my ticket. Thank goodness the manger split the Check up. The server was literally talking over my friend that was with us that was explaining the problems we were experiencing, and the manager finally told her to leave the conversation. We love the Gardendale location, we always go there with my daughter's whole ball team, and never once were we charged gratuity, and the service and food have always been excellent. The manager said, it was from corporate is the reason for mandatory gratuity for people 6 and over. Totally not true!!! Would NOT recommend the Tuscaloosa Mugshots!!!“

“I come here almost everyday to eat breakfast and chill by myself. The tons of tables and chairs, serving areas, and nice bathrooms are always clean. The staff and servers are always polite and nice. The only complaint I could make is that I wish there was more of a variety for breakfast, like more different kinds of fruit like strawberries or kiwi, and more variety of breakfast food like croissant sandwiches and hashbrowns. Other than that, this place is a 10/10 for me and I think it's better than Fresh Food Company!“

“James and Corey or (Korey) were the working at the time that I went. I went around 5ish today. They made sure we had everything my daughter and I asked for. They both were very friendly. I really liked the fact that the bathrooms were really clean especially with having a child.“

“I ate here a couple years ago and hated it, but decided to go back today and I am in love. We got the smokehouse quesadilla, ribs, bbq baker, and banana pudding and everything was so amazing! The atmosphere is very nice and clean, and service was great. I got to speak to the general manager and she was so kind and lovely, as well as our server, Landon. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Ok I love Mr G’s in Northport but we just had the worst experience there. We ordered 2 ham and cheese sandwich’s, one with fries and the other with side salad. After around 45 minutes with no food I went to check on it. The cashier went in the back and asked about it and they were shaking their heads so she came and printed out another ticket. I heard one of the men ask her something in an irritated voice and she told him she was just checking on her order. I had been very nice up until I heard him get an attitude so obviously I felt I needed to get one to. She came back and said they were just waiting for them to come out of the oven. I said really then why were they acting like they didn’t know there was an order if it was in the oven. I could tell she was getting flustered having to deal with them and I was starting to get more than just annoyed so I just said ok and went back to my seat. After another 20 minutes we got our food. I noticed the man that had ordered after us walking up to the register with his receipt and when he came back by I asked if he was still waiting on his food. He was and said that if they ever got their food they were never coming back. When we finished and were leaving they were still sitting there waiting. Mr G’s you may have just lost a lot of return business tonight.“
