“This is absolutely the best bakery in the South. Everything on the menu is absolutely amazing from the cookies, brownies, donuts, cakes to the breakfast biscuits and sausage pastries. Not only do they create these delicious sweet masterpieces, these ladies have amazing customer service and have a great family friendly atmosphere. They get to know their regulars and genuinely care for each and everyone of them. You haven’t tried this bakery you are definitely missing out on the best of the best.“

“The staff is friendly. I had the oatmeal cream pie! When they post it on the "Gram" the night before, you better line up as early as 6:30 a.m. However, in all fairness, they only let you get just one (that is new). I would like for them to declare an Oatmeal Cream Pie Day. I would even come in to assist. I guarantee they would be busy all day. This place is a cute little gem and I'm glad I found it.“

“Me and some colleagues happened upon this great little bakery. We had the apple and cheese danish and a sticky bun. All I can say is that after taking a bite of the apple danish I wanted to go back and get 5 more. The danish was so buttery and the cheese and apple filling complimented the danish perfectly. The owner was very friendly and joked around with us. I will definitely come back.“

Great coffee/tea and delicious pasteries-flaky, fresh, cute and delish ✅. Staff is friendly and helpful. And free drip Fridays; buy a pastry/get a free drip coffee. “Wow!! This is my reaction to Nana Bakes. My family and I attended the Druid City Arts Festival. OMG!! Trust me, wherever I see her, I will patronize her. The truth is not everybody is able to execute the art of baking. I know the hard work it takes due to my mom being a baker and chef. I went to a couple of other places that made doughnuts and they scoffed when I asked for the order. I then went to Magic Muffins- they were SO accommodating. Now- gentlemen-there will be predominantly women when you walk in but to no avail- there are plenty of things on the menu to choose from if you want something a little heavier than a chicken or turkey sandwich. Olexa is a bakery known for their delicious cake, but the lunch menu is predominantly, soup, salad, sandwiches and a couple of crepe options. What I love is the trio- 1/2 sandwich, cup of soup and choice of salad. I have had both the tomato basil and chicken chili and both are delicious. They have several side salads and I particularly like the Caesar. My lunch partners like the garden salad. The turkey crunch sandwich is good, the steak salad very good and I will try the crepes next. Warm chocolate cake with ice cream or the vanilla buttercream cake room temp are my favorites and the perfect finish to the trio lunch. Usually crowded with a 10 minute wait- service efficient, staff polite and food consistently good.“

“Driving through town on a road trip, wanting a tasty breakfast before leaving town. I am so glad I stopped in! Parking was easy in the street out front at 8:30am on this Thursday morning. The rower had several tables inside for dining or work (WiFi was available). Outside seating was available out back as well. The menu online matched the menu on store if you like to plan ahead. The staff were super helpful and knowledgeable about the pastries and flavors! Per their recommendation I got an almond croissant and cheese danish with fresh strawberry jam on top. I also ordered a lavender honey latte and a loaf of sourdough to go. The latte paired with the pastries was exactly the treat I needed! It was savory and sweet and just the right amount of food to fill me up and then some. I will be using the sourdough in the next few days and am looking forward to sandwiches and dippy bread!“
