“All around experience was phenomenal! The name of the club was perfect, theme song for the night was "Issa Vibe". Reserved one of the birthday sections, which was beautiful. The whole club is nicely decorated, even the outdoor stage and seating area continued the nice laid back ambiance. The staff was friendly and accomadating, security was attentive and welcoming, Bando the DJ kept the vibe going reading the room well. “I walked from the hotel and dare I say that the walk was a little sketchy. If I had to guess, I’d say that I wasn’t in the most favorable area of Birmingham, but nevertheless I blended in because I was in a familiar environment. Initially, I thought that the food truck outside was the bar, but I was able to go inside the bar and watch the game until my food was ready. I ordered a double shot of Jameson and the price was a bit more than I was accustomed to paying, but needless to say I didn’t scoff at the price. I like how both of the business were working together and from what I was able to see from the short amount of time that I was there is that it’s a popular corner of Birmingham. “I was genuinely excited to try this restaurant after passing by it so many times while traveling through Downtown Homewood. Unfortunately, my experience was a bit of a letdown. That said, it wasn’t terrible by any means, which is why I’m giving it 3 stars. A friend and I dined here together as most of my readers know, I often bring someone along for reviews to offer more than just my own perspective. Appetizer: We started with the Tallulah Wings, opting for the Sweet Heat Dry Rub with Alabama White BBQ sauce. The first surprise was that the wings arrived already coated in the sauce. In my opinion, when a sauce is meant as a dip, it’s best served on the side, not as a coating. Unfortunately, the wings themselves were quite underseasoned it reminded me of drinking a LaCroix, with just a faint whisper of the sweet heat flavor. That said, the little flavor I could taste had a nostalgic charm, reminiscent of Golden Flake potato chips and those are undeniably delicious. I just wish the wings had packed more of a punch. Entrée: Next, we tried the Social Stack, essentially their version of a McDonald's Big Mac. I have to say, it was significantly better than a Big Mac. The sauce was flavorful, the patties were fresh and well-seasoned, and everything came together beautifully. It’s a rich burger, but the crispy, seasoned fries helped balance that richness. The freshness and flavor made this burger a standout I’d absolutely order it again. If it weren’t for the disappointing wings, this meal would have earned a solid 4 out of 5 stars. As it stands, I’m giving it 3 out of 5. However, I do plan to return and explore more of their menu. I believe there’s potential here, and I’m hopeful my next visit will be a more satisfying experience.“

“We visited this renovated food hall on our way out of Birmingham. The space itself is really cool and features some great food options. I had the poke and a bubble tea, which were both delicious. “I was staying in Birmingham for an occasion. I ordered a burger and fries to go from The Lab Bar and Grill. Malik Moore was my waiter and he was awesome. I had asked for a few extra items on the burger and Malik came back to double check and make sure that I didn’t want anything else on it. He was polite and professional. The burger and fries were very good!“
