“20240327 ? 20% tip was already included in my bill. When I was paying with my credit card, it asked for tip. So I tipped $30 for $140 total, not knowing that 20% tip was included!! ? Good thing Ricardo was great, and with Bidenomics... the extra tip might help Ricardo out. I guess I should check my bills in the future.20240326 so happy this restaurant is dogfriendly. In town for a day and wanted a nice meal with my friend and her family. Ricardo was the best waiter. He was attentive, and very polite and nice. The food was delicious. “I gave 4 stars because the food wasn't to my liking, of course we ate all of it we paid for it and we do not throw away food, but it was fresh and hot. Our server Faith was a sweetheart?‍♀️ and very kind when I asked for more butter,she brung it right on out. The atmosphere gives off a vintage smooth free vibe,which was superb and we loved it. I do recommend this restaurant to others, it's just we are huge seasoning lovers and we love to try different places and styles of food so we gave this place a shot. This restaurant is excellent for dining so go check it out.“

“Traveled from Huntsville to Montgomery on a Tuesday night. I saw the reviews and figured I’d try it out! Ordered and paid online. Got a text it was ready fifteen minutes later. Both of the folks working the food truck were super nice with huge smiles.And the food… goodness… I got the rice and beans and some hush puppies. Man… I would put their hush puppies against our cherished Greenbrier, a Madison County legend, any day. If you know, that’s almost blasphemous to some. And the beans and rice were so yummy that I scraped up every bit I could.I’m not a Cajun connoisseur, but I know good food and good people. This place checks both boxes! Thank you for being a highlight of my little trip.“

“A first time visit but notttt my last.. This spot is a must for real seafood and gumbo lovers. The service was excellent the food was outstanding! Sarah- my server was top tier. She made sure I was pleased and the meal was hot and fresh! The Mahi- mahi is some of the best I’ve had in Alabama and the portions were enough for 2 days!“

“This is a MUST GO!!! My first visit at this restaurant and I have completely bought in! First, we were received with a pleasant greeting and immediately seated. Upon being seated our drink order was quickly taken and brought to our table. Our order was taken a few minutes after drinks were served...where does this happen these day?! The menu was filled with delicious southern cuisine. I ordered the vegetarian meal...it was great! This is such a great place for families and also good for a hangout spot. Good bar and tvs for watching sports. I was so pleased with the food, so I ordered our Christmas dinner with them. All the food was a hit! I will definitely go back.“

“We arrived for our 5:30 reservation only to find out it had not registered with the host station from the website. The wait was 1 1/2 hours. We stepped aside - my husband searched for our confirmation email and I called other restaurants to see where we could eat. A few minutes later, the young hostess grabbed some menus, said "follow me" and sat us at a table. We were very thankful. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. It was an enjoyable evening thanks to her.“

“Superb food and great service. We had a dozen baked oysters sampler platter and the oysters were on the smaller side so the sweet waitress brought us one extra of each kind. I got the crab claws sauteed and they were absolutely fantastic! My husband and I love this place for date night!“

“I have gone to Walk-Ons several times and I've never had bad food! It's always so yummy and the portions are good for the prices! This time we went to celebrate my God son's 14th bday. It was a group of 10 and no one was disappointed. One person in our group had steak and she said it was cooked perfectly but lacked flavor. But everything else was awesome and this group is a tough, picky crowd. But they all raved about the wings, the burgers, and the entrees! We also had the devils on horseback and fried pickles for apps... very good! I love their red beans and rice, their shrimp, wings and hushpuppies. But the knockout thing that shocked me this time was the cajun-dilla. It's a cajun take on a quesadilla. So so yummy! The atmosphere is great with plenty of TVs. We sat on the large patio. It was so spacious and and the weather was perfect for it. If you haven't gone, please go! I doubt you leave disappointed!“

“This is our "Go To" place for Comfort food, like Mom's cookin. Pork chops with glazed apples are delish, plus their carrot soufflé is very special. I love their big soft rolls. Cabbage, greens and plenty of delish veggies to choose from. I like a B'ham classic dish , Fried Green Tomatoes. Ask for sauce to go with it. Their fried shrimp looks delish and a generous serving. Red velvet or carrot cake cupcakes are ready to go by the door and look very tempting. If you like country cooking with lots of choices straight out of the 1950's, you should try it! Decor is sort of Diner special. Hard working wait staff! Always too full for dessert but they look really good: red velvet cake, strawberry shortcake, etc. Be sure to take Granny there as the authentic dishes from her best days will bring back some memories!!“
