I've eaten the same dish for dinner twice in a row because it was just too good. (Cabeza burrito)It's got mostly the options you'd expect from a Taco truck, but some that stand out as novel, too. I've had most anything on a Mexican restaurant menu before, but I've never had Tlacoyos before. They look like tacos with the tortillas fried, in the picture; trust me, I'm gonna try them soon. I mean, my girlfriend is the type to call black pepper spicy, and googles the ingredients before they'll eat them, and she STILL got the lengua! Twice!Listen, I mean what is there to dislike about this place other than the parking? As of March 2024, it's situated near Maya, the Mexican restaurant on Oxmoor Rd, off Green Springs, in a lot that gets pretty crowded quick. An hour or less till closing and they're packed, so try to come a little earlier if you want to find parking.They're lightning fast in that truck! I had my burrito in less than 10 minutes, and some of that time was us ordering. Incredible food, very friendly staff, and a mostly convenient location. You're making a terrible mistake if you don't come get you some. ¡Buen provecho!Parking: Parking lot, but it's got a building that's being worked on, so it might look sketchy at first. Trust, it's fine. They are super worth the tight right turn.Kid-friendliness: There's no dining in, so kids are fine if they don't run into the road or something.Wheelchair accessibility: Fairly flat ground, no need for a ramp. The exits from the lot are doable, but they are quite a dip.“

“They are a small business food truck that demonstrates nothing but exemplary customer service. My husband went by while they were in Helena for their to die for peach crumble. They were out of the dessert but they offered to make half a pan for us and said they will have it ready the next day at their next location at Shelby Baptist. I went by to pick it up and not only did they have it ready but they brought it out to me at my car. They are such nice people and I’m very happy at the customer service they display. “Always great food and customer service Travis has been doing his thing now his son is doing the exact same thing came all the way from Houston, TX to get his food and still great as usual but I will say this they need to remember the regular customers and keep certain things they way they are because that's what regular customers know them for. Put them bell peppers back on y'all stuff cause when I lived here years ago that's how it was but the son told me recently that a lot of people don't like them i said to him well I had been coming to this truck 20+ years and I know hundreds of people that prefer the old way better even if it's on the side I'm okay with that so upon request you can just cook it with mine and I'm good. I understand you have to change with the times but some things just shouldn't change.“

“This was like the fourth taco place I drove to on a Monday night and it was the only one open. I’ve driven by this place a lot and never gotten food here. I’m so glad I did! Service was amazing and fast. I got three tacos for under $10. The flavor was better than the surrounding taco trucks. I will be coming back! I had just gone to Lowes and I was about to go to Eugene's, but before I could drive out I saw this food truck in front of me and it had like 2 people in line, so I thought, I should try it out and I'm so glad I did. The experience is different, but the level of deliciousness is on par. Since there was SEC football to be watched Saturday night, we were in the mood to hit a taqueria & enjoy the evening at home. I found Taqueria Charros on Yelp. They stood out to me due to their 4.9/5 stars & outstanding reviews. So to Hoover we went.We had to try the tacos, of course. We got an asada & al pastor taco. I'm usually an al pastor kind of gal, but the asada was the star here. Absolutely bursting with flavor & so tender. The reviews I read raved about the asada & I see why. The al pastor was also excellent & very tender...but the asada had a slight edge. I would order both again.We also ordered Huaraches, which I've never had before. It featured cheese, beans, lettuce, avocado, onion, sour cream, cilantro on fried masa dough & I chose cabeza as the meat. Where has this dish been all my life?! Absolutely delightful! The fried masa dough is a bit more thick than a tortilla. It's soft on the inside & nice & crisp on the outside. The cabeza meat was extraordinary. Buttery & savory. This could possibly be my new fav taqueria dish.We also ordered a chicken burrito featuring cheese, beans, rice, bell peppers, tomatoes, onions, mushroom, lettuce & cilantro. The chicken was amazing. It packed a tiny bit of heat which was nice.The dishes are served with red & green salsas. The red is pretty hot & was the one I preferred. It was too hot for my wife, but she enjoyed the mild green one.Taqueria Charros is PHENOMENAL! Though this was our 1st visit they're seriously in my top 3 favorite taquerias. “Tacos El Guero is a food truck that sits in a Shell gas station. The service is a bit slow and a bit impersonal, but the food more than makes up for it.I chose three tacos and the total was just a bit over nine dollars after these and all. I went with a campechano taco, an asada taco and a carnitas taco. The campechano taco was by far my favorite. The carnitas taco would probably get my second choice and then the asada taco. But do not misunderstand, they all were excellent tacos.They also had a few tables under a tent of you want to dine there. Not the biggest ambiance, but it works. Since it was a chilly night in December, I ended up eating my feast in my car.This is a solid choice if you are craving some good Mexican food.I would definitely recommend this Mexican food truck and they definitely earned my recommendation. “This place was amazing! One of the best burgers i have ever had!! The owner/chef and Angel were so so so nice. I can’t thank them enough. We were driving through from STL to FL and stopped in for a quick lunch with some family. I am so glad we did. We have a 1 year old and 3 year old. The 3 year old didn’t like the sauce on the burger (moms fault) so they got us a new bun and then we asked for some hot water to make a bottle and the owner went above and beyond and boiled water for us so it would stay hot for the rest of our car ride!
