“Heard lots of great things about last call and they’re all true! Arrived at around 9:00 on a Thursday and waited in line for a short while (5-10 minutes max) and man, it was worth it! Super cute but quaint interior lobby area, all of the options are laid out in front of you. We ordered: Chocolate croissant and a Morning bun. The croissant was flaky and the chocolate was rich. The morning bun was phenomenal, a plump and flaky pastry with cinnamon sugar coating the top. We’re excited to return!“

“I stopped by Hello Bakery and was blown away by their delicious croissants—but what really stood out was the owner's kindness! I bought four pastries, and to my surprise, they gifted me a free almond croissant! 😍

Croissant Quality:
The croissants here are perfectly flaky, buttery, and freshly baked. The plain croissant had a crisp exterior with soft, airy layers inside, while the almond croissant (my free treat!) was rich, slightly sweet, and packed with crunchy almond goodness. Absolutely delicious!

Customer Service:
The owner was warm and welcoming, and the free croissant was such a lovely gesture. It’s rare to find a bakery that cares so much about making customers happy!

“I love going to this Crumbl when we are in the area. It became part of our routine during the time my son was going through treatment for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at Children’s. We have continued the trips to get Crumbl cookies, cakes and pies when we are in town for checkups. This store is always clean, friendly, and the treats are top notch!! I purchased a mini sweet potato pie, key lime, and a pecan. I also purchased a slice of lemon pound cake. My 12 year old announced she didn’t like pound cake or pie… A couple of hours later I tried the sweet potato pie. The 12 year old asked for a taste and begged to have the rest. Tonight we equally ate the lemon pound cake. Both superb. We haven’t tried the other 2 minis yet, but have no doubt they will be equally delicious. The only issue was pick up. My little cousin picked it up for me and the clerk behind the counter had a poor attitude for not reason. My cousin was only trying to order a cookie before leaving and paying for the cookie. Rude staff at this location.“

“Marta's is an AMAZING bakery mainly because they will work with their customers. Food is subjective, but good service and great people always bring a smile. In this case, in my opinion, the casseroles are wonderful and the crew is even better!“

“Whenever I get a high test score, my grandfather drives me out and lets me get a whole basket full of pastries, and it’s never more than $30 for the whole lot. The best part- they aren’t expired. We call it “The Day-Old Bread Store,” but everything is dated at least a month ahead of when you buy it. I highly recommend this as your go-to pantry stuffer store“

“This is an awesome Latin-owned coffee shop, right here in bham. Everyone who works here is always welcoming. And, perhaps most importantly, the coffee is excellent. The shots are consistent and the beans are great. Oscar who manages the store knows his stuff. I always end up getting the horchata latte because it was too good to pass up after I tried it once, but perhaps one day I will branch out. Glad to see the stickers keep growing on the tables :)“

“My first impressions were this is a very nice environment. Bright, open, airy and organized. I was excited to try the confetti cake bcuz I'd seen it at the Vestavia Hills location, but they were sold out of them. I'm not a regular customer so I wasn't sure if this cake was their first roll-out of large, shareable desserts. Anyway the cake was presented to me before it was boxed up and I was satisfied with its appearance. I finally tried some later on at home and was surprised that it tasted like a fine dusting of cornstarch was present on it. I mean, that's the first thing that came to mind. The cake had a large crumb like a box cake would. Overall, I was somewhat disappointed but I chalked it up to it being cold, as they keep certain desserts refrigerated. The baker did tell me the cake was brushed with condensed milk, which isn't a bad thing. It adds another layer of flavor and moisture. Well, at this point, I put the cake in the cabinet overnight. The next day, it tasted way better! I gave half of it away, and finished my piece. I can't wait until the strawberry shortcake rotates back around.“

“Lovely bakery with a variety of different treats. I got the orange coconut roll and a batch of heat and serve cinnamon rolls. The orange roll had more of a buttery taste than orange and the cinnamon rolls could have used more cinnamon mixture between layers but they were still wonderful! There are no gluten-free options aside from macarons“
