“Hidden inside the Chevron station, along with a Taco Bell \\u0026 a Pizza Hut. No menus, no prices listed, just a glass fronted hot display with lots of good-looking food. Biscuits, sausage, bacon, milk gravy, scrambled eggs, home fries, etc. Everything served up in styrofoam containers Biscuits and gravy for me with a sausage to crumble up (I prefer sausage gravy over milk) and drink from the typical convenience store cooler ran $7.25. Good deal, Lucille. The food need to be warmer though.“

“Always a great Breakfast. I wish they would open for lunch or early dinner. Well known neighborhood eatery with good people who care about the community. I've been a customer since their first restaurant and recently moved back to the area and it's just as good as always. I would love for them start the wings back up and liver with gravy & onions would do it all for me. Or maybe add a fruit cup once a week to lighten up things. But Honestly I love it just the way it is !“

“GamerGirl Everly, I’m not sure you were at Griddle house with your description of it! Yes they allow smoking , evidently you don’t like that but Don’t run a place that is clean, NO roaches EVER that I’ve seen and I’ve been going to that place for over 20 years ! Very nice place if you like to enjoy a cup of coffee and a cigarette.“

“Always have a great experience from the wait staff and the people on the grill.
Only subtracting 1 star because I've been several times where they were to-go only, Or in between shifts with a 30-40 minute wait, or the previous shift didn't prep.“

Wheelchair accessibility: Flat surface, level size tables. Workers there today were so nice, kind, and professional. Gracie, I 🤔, Joshua, Isaiah, I 🤔..I lost the paper with their names on it. Around 12ish...we entered for a meal, never been here, but just took a chance Bishop and I...we love it...I was impressed with the cooks there, they cooked our food perfectly to our liking They deserve a raise ... those who served me there that day because we did not know what to expect before we entered the doors..., but the service was excellent! The food was too. Cashier, Cook, and the other guy, too. Yeah, for a raise ...Christmas bonus!“

“This is the best waffle house around here and maybe just the best I've been to. I have been coming here for years and even though the place has been renovated and most of the staff changed it has consistently had the best food and service of any waffle house in the birmingham area. Even when I'm up in birmingham i'll usually drive down to this one when I want waffle house, it's worth it.“

“I'm not from this area but I am from Alabama and have eaten at a many of these restaurants from West Texas to Niagara Falls! I felt bad this particular visit because I was asking for substitutions, additions, and Exactly how I wanted my hashbrowns! The 2 gentleman never sighed, raised a brow, or got upset..The 2 , Cook and Server, performed as if I were the D.M. or w/Cooperate! I don't know if I have Ever had a "NO COMPLAINT " Experience from this franchise or the other ones similar to, but it was PERFECT! From the greeting to the last bite! It would have been nice to dine in but for whatever reason, I was unable to just like the others who came while I was there. Thanks! I Highly recommend this location.“
