“My family loves The Lighthouse! We had the best experience this evening. My sister & I brought our kids after the DI Mardi Gras parade. Two adults with a 6 year old, two 5 year olds, a 1 year old & a 9 month old. We had a 35 minute wait, but it went by fast. We had a great server, she was so sweet. Our girls were a little loud, but the whole restaurant was loud due to it being busy, a drink got spilled but we cleaned it up. We had two older women and a man sit at the table behind us & they were constantly staring, talking about us & our children. I guess we were a bother to them, I was very upset about it. After we paid, a tall man who works in the back came out and told us not to go anywhere yet, that he had something for the girls. He brought out 3 popsicles & opened them for them 🩷 My sister said he had been looking out from behind the counter and thought he had noticed the situation. Even if he didn’t, he was so kind and it made everything better. Just made me love the restaurant even more. Our food was 10/10 as always!”

“The manager on duty was micromanging the heck out of this wonderful team. Food and service was great but how he talked down to them you could clearly see that he was the issue. When he took one of his many bathroom breaks the entire team seemed to have a weight lifted. Keep up the great work guys and let his comments roll off your backs!!”

“First time stopping by on Dawes Rd. Great friendly and helpful staff. Food was great with exceptional flavor. Ordered 1/2 rack of ribs, pulled pork sandwich, smoked chicken salad, side of baked beans and potatoe salad. Huge portions and great Smokey flavor. I highly recommend Coach Brown’s BBQ..!!!!”

“I visited the location at airport and snow today. I went inside for the 1st time as I usually go through the drive through. There were 6+ employees. My coffee could have tasted like a dumpster fire and I would not have cared because of how happy and kind the employees were. Every human in that building was happy to be at work today or did a 10/10 job at faking it. What a blessing to be that happy at work. Shout out to the owners or managers. I know how hard it is to cohesively get a group of people that happy to be at work and you guys are doing something right. Full disclosure-my coffee was delicious and not a dumpster fire. Contrary to the majority of humans,I will be back for the customer service-not the coffee.”

“We always try to find a coffee shop in every little town we visit. The Roastery Coffee Co. Grand Bay did not disappoint! Very welcoming little shop with delicious coffee! We enjoyed our conversation with Jonny, one of the owners. It was interesting to learn about the coffee, but more interesting to learn about Jonny’s faith. We look forward to the next time we are passing through Grand Bay to enjoy another amazing cup of coffee.”

“A great Bayou la Batre type restaurant with good food and service. If you want all of the frills that you'll most likely pay extra, go to a Franchised restaurant in the city and miss all of the shrimp boats and ship builders in the area. Sure they make a mistake every once and awhile, many are far worse since covid. I like it !”
