“My family loves The Lighthouse! We had the best experience this evening. My sister & I brought our kids after the DI Mardi Gras parade. Two adults with a 6 year old, two 5 year olds, a 1 year old & a 9 month old. We had a 35 minute wait, but it went by fast. We had a great server, she was so sweet. Our girls were a little loud, but the whole restaurant was loud due to it being busy, a drink got spilled but we cleaned it up. We had two older women and a man sit at the table behind us & they were constantly staring, talking about us & our children. I guess we were a bother to them, I was very upset about it. After we paid, a tall man who works in the back came out and told us not to go anywhere yet, that he had something for the girls. He brought out 3 popsicles & opened them for them 🩷 My sister said he had been looking out from behind the counter and thought he had noticed the situation. Even if he didn’t, he was so kind and it made everything better. Just made me love the restaurant even more. Our food was 10/10 as always!”

“The manager on duty was micromanging the heck out of this wonderful team. Food and service was great but how he talked down to them you could clearly see that he was the issue. When he took one of his many bathroom breaks the entire team seemed to have a weight lifted. Keep up the great work guys and let his comments roll off your backs!!”

“I’m from out of state and was introduced to Bayou Seafood Company LLC by my wife and her family—and I have to say, this place is a true gem! We absolutely loved the crab legs—perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and just fell apart like butter. But the real surprise? The shrimp. Where I’m from, we get tiny little shrimp… but here? These suckers are HUGE! And not just big, but juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection. My wife is a gumbo eater she loves their gumbo me on the other hand can deal without but I trust that it’s great!

Everything we tried had amazing flavor, clearly made with love and real Southern soul. You can tell they take pride in their seafood, and it shows. If you’re ever in the area, don’t miss out on this spot. We’ll definitely be back every chance we get!”

“Had a great experience this morning at the bank location. I am not a big coffee drinker, so wasn’t too sure what to order. Matthew was so friendly, helpful, and just really seemed to enjoy his job. He even made sure I liked my drink before I walked away from the counter. I got my toddler a strawberry banana smoothie and a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant… he inhaled both. I got a sugar free coconut/sugar free salted caramel iced coffee that was great; not too sweet, not too bitter. We utilized the outdoor seating area, which was gated, so it was great to let my toddler “be a toddler,” without disturbing others. The only thing that would have made it better would be canopies or shade over the outdoor seating area. We will be back!”

“A great Bayou la Batre type restaurant with good food and service. If you want all of the frills that you'll most likely pay extra, go to a Franchised restaurant in the city and miss all of the shrimp boats and ship builders in the area. Sure they make a mistake every once and awhile, many are far worse since covid. I like it !”

“Went to a wedding reception last night that was catered by MeatBoss and OMG we can not stop talking about how good the food was! Smoked chicken with all their sauces, potato salad, baked beans with pork all in um! It was so good but that banana pudding was SOLID GOLD FINISH!”

“We are staying on Dauphin Island but heard this restaurant is very good. We took a little drive to try it out. Definitely glad we did. Worth the quick drive from the island. We had 3 kids and 4 adults. The kids had cheeseburgers and fries. The adults had fantail shrimp, shrimp po boys and chicken tenders. The shrimp was fantastic! My sister said the chicken tenders were so good. Not frozen ones. 😄 The staff was very friendly and took care of us. The decorations and environment is welcoming and fun to look at. We will definitely be back.”
