“I walked in and ordered the double bacon burger with fries and took it back to my room and it was sooooo good. The girls who took my order were very nice and welcoming I had asked for some ranch, and mayo/mustard packets and they put my take out box in a bag and gave me plenty ranch and packets and napkins. I was very happy with the service and food.
Then one morning I called down and picked up the Brioche French toast and ordered scrambled eggs and it was equally as good as my dinner. I wish I got to stay longer so I could try other menu items. I can just imagine how good everything is“

“My daughter and I were there with her 10yr old golden. Of course we asked for outside seating, and were told an hour wait. Hostess did not get my phone # correct so when I didn’t get the welcome text I went back in. Another hostess changed it and neither one apologized for their mistake. Never broke a smile. Sooo we wait, and wait. Watched so many be brought in who clearly had not been there longer than us, empty outside tables with no one sitting there. I went back to the hostess stand to see how much longer, “it could be 3min or 15”, really. We finally got a table after an hour and 35min. We were put at the table next to the steps coming out on the patio, while there were two more tables open on the outside corner of the patio. Out of the line of traffic. Our golden was almost stepped on several times (one being the rude hostess) and the constant jarring of the ppl coming up and down the steps was very annoying. Imagine trying to enjoy a meal that you have waited two hours for and your table bouncing around. Our waitress was great and the food was excellent! Hostesses need to learn some manners as to how to be polite.“

“I attended the veterans free meal night and totally enjoyed it, I got the steak, broccoli, and mash potatoes which were simply delicious. I had to wait an hour since it was crowded due to everyone wanting to eat at this restaurant. They had enough staff to accommodate serving everyone. I always come here on Veterans Day!

I come here because I feel lonely especially since it's me just all by myself without my late husband and my son and daughter-in-law with my grandkids stationed over in virginia. I come to this waffle house because I like the company. The service is good and the food is fantastic. We got some really great workers here. I believe that Kristen, Melissa, Jayne, Stephanie, Whitney, Katrina, Kadaisha, Linda and Holly are just about the sweetest waitresses. We also got some really great cooks like Calvin, Patrick, Jeremiah and Quincy. I also think that William is just about the friendliest manager. I really feel right at home here. “We’re from Florida, now living in Alabama. There are no Sonny’s BBQ here and we sure miss them. Last weekend we took an end of summer weekend trip to Pensacola. There was a Sonny’s across from our hotel room. Needless to say that’s where we ate dinner and boy did we enjoy it! The food was hot, fresh and just as delicious as we remembered. Our server was extremely friendly and I wish I could remember her name (this would have been on Sunday night, July 30. We were the party of five, three grandkids, my daughter and me). Well, Sonny’s had a big impact on my granddaughter for sure as you can tell by her picture and what she wrote on her “what I did this summer” page attached hereto. She can’t wait to come back to have the best ribs she ever tasted!“

But instead of fixing the problem we got our money back and left without food. I was very unhappy with the service received by this employee. I'm not using names because I don't want anyone fired. “My girlfriend and I ate there tonight and had one of the best experiences we’ve ever had out together. We had some drinks and started with the crab claws which are out of this world good. She got the blackened white fish and I got a shrimp po-boy, and oh boy were they delicious. They got our sides mixed up and brought out fresh made fries and okra for us pretty quickly. Everything we had was extremely good. The service was slow, but they were packed. Food is definitely worth the wait. My girl and I felt safe and appreciated there and will definitely be returning in the future (with friends)! 10/10“

Bring your dog and your kids they have video games they can play… I don’t like beer however they bring it to you in a pitcher you can keep. Fun place bring the kids and the dogs.
