“It was good customers were very friendly. I asked to change my regular fries to funnel cake fries and they said in the nicest way that I couldn’t. They were patient very friendly made my order exactly how I wanted. If you wanna sit down it’s only a few tables outside no seating inside. But there is a drive up window and a walk up window to place orders.“

“Very slow service. You need speed, you stand in line at the drive thru for about 20 minutes to be able to get your hands on breakfast. There are occasions when people leave the line with nothing, people just spend their time smoking outside and the line of cars in the line“

“My wife and I were in Birmingham and looking for someplace for dinner and came upon Whiskey Foxtrot on a google maps search. The restaurant has a cool vibe and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful! My wife had the Cowgirl and I had the Classic, both were delicious! She ordered the loaded fries and I ordered the loaded tots, both were great but we should have just shared one order since neither of us could finish. I REALLY wish we had one of these in Tuscaloosa!“

“We have always enjoyed Baha Burger. Due to medical issues, it’s been some time since we last ate there. The owner was always so courteous to us and eager for us try new things. He introduced me to the delicious remoulade that is a must for all things I order. However, our most recent experience made us feel differently. I know people have off days. We are all entitled to them….BUT…while we were eating, we overheard the owner yelling at the cook (he was standing directly behind us) about how many tater tots he put on my sons plate. He said it was too much for a child portion and went on and on about it. There were nine tater tots on his plate and he ate them all. My son overheard him yelling at the cook and asked me if he should give some of them back. That hurt my heart that my five year old felt guilty eating a meal that was set in front of him. I’m sure we will still give them our business because the food is amazing. I just hope the owner understands that sometimes things should be handled differently. Nine tater tots was not a true reason to have gotten so upset. Now if it had been ten….😜“

“Went to this restaurant on a Saturday the place was pretty busy but we were able to order and then sit at our table. The staff was very friendly and the service was great.we both ordered a k-dog which were excellent 👌🏾 and not normal menu items so we got lucky to catch them serving them today. The joyland burger deluxe was great as well, the patty was seasoned very well and had good flavor! I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone if you like burgers! “They are a small business food truck that demonstrates nothing but exemplary customer service. My husband went by while they were in Helena for their to die for peach crumble. They were out of the dessert but they offered to make half a pan for us and said they will have it ready the next day at their next location at Shelby Baptist. I went by to pick it up and not only did they have it ready but they brought it out to me at my car. They are such nice people and I’m very happy at the customer service they display. “I tried Big Doon’s BBQ for the first time Memorial Day. Best seasoned BBQ ribs I’ve had in a very long time. Will definitely be visiting again. I highly recommend.“

“This past Saturday, I treated myself to a me date a day dedicated entirely to myself. After indulging in a relaxing one-hour massage, I found myself absolutely starving. Wanting to try something new, I continued my exploration of Homewood’s restaurant scene and landed on The Battery. I met my aunt there for lunch, and as soon as we arrived, I knew we were in for a treat. The place was packed inside and out which is usually a great sign. After about a 15 minute wait, we were seated. The interior had a modern, inviting atmosphere, and the service was excellent. Our waiter was incredibly kind, answered all of my questions, and I never once had to ask for a refill. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was impressively quick, and every dish arrived hot. Appetizers Buffalo Wings – The wings were well-sauced and smoked to perfection, with the meat falling off the bone effortlessly. However, the biggest letdown was the lack of seasoning. While the smoky flavor was great, the wings themselves needed more depth. 7.9/10 (With proper seasoning, this would easily be in the high 8s or even a 9). Queso & Chips – The chips were fresh, crunchy, and unseasoned but still did the job. The queso had potential, but it lacked the bold flavors needed to truly stand out. It wasn’t bad, but it could have been much better. 6/10 Entrées & Sides Wedge Salad – The salad itself was solid, but the bacon was a miss. It had an overpowering liquid smoke taste, leaving a strange aftertaste and smell. 7/10 Fries – These were outstanding hot, crispy, and well-seasoned. I also appreciated the variety of cuts and shapes. 8.5/10 Smash Burger – A well-executed smash burger with that signature crispy edge and juicy interior. However, the meat itself wasn’t seasoned, which held it back from being exceptional. 8/10 Final Thoughts Overall, The Battery was a great experience, and I’d happily return. The biggest downside was the lack of seasoning across multiple dishes. If they improved that, their food would easily score even higher. That said, I still highly recommend trying this place. Final Rating: 8/10 Service: 10/10 – Absolutely fantastic staff! Would I go back? Without a doubt.“

“Fantastic Five Guys at Stadium Trace in Hoover. This Five Guys is not a corporate location but a local franchise, so the prices are reasonable. Great burger and the fries are the best in Hoover. Come Fall, their outdoor seating area will be a great option for seating. (Even today it was comfortable).“

“We wanted a unique and local place. A hole in the wall if you will. The store front said this is it. When you walk in it doesn't look like a sit down restaurant, and there aren't many seats. Ms Dawson greets you from behind a wall and comes around to take your order. Plan to be patient as she cooks it fresh and is a solo operator. The burger was well worth the wait. Definitely give it a shot for lunch.. just don't be in a hurry.“

But, do try it. Patty's are handmade. Fresh beef. Nice large burger. Prices a little steep. Cheeseburger was $10,99 and basket of fries $4.50. I did not get the sauce that comes on the burger. I def recommend. And the venue is hard. There is an app to pre-order was not available on Monday night.“

“Not a huge fan of Milos. That being said the employees were nice and polite, cutting up and having a good time at work. They brought that to the atmosphere of the restaurant, definitely a plus.

Having employees that enjoy their work and work together well while taking care of the customer is a huge deal nowadays.

“Leaving gym to go eat our prepped dinner when a delightful aroma caught us by surprise. Went to window shop, and could not resist trying something. Staff was friendly and Sam was awesome, throwing in extra sauces and fries I forgot to add.

Then we got the food: it legitimately looks like something out of a dolled up commercial, with a delightful taste to boot. We will 100% be eating here again and recommending friends, thank you Sam and chefs for giving us a great meal and experience!“

“I really like Milos and we eat at the Pelham store regularly. However yesterday was a disappointment. The tea was terrible, it taste soured, and I buy Milos tea at the grocery so I know how it should taste. When I returned it to the counter the employee stated others had complained about the taste, so why didn’t they make new tea? Also the burger with lettuce & tomato kept falling apart because the lettuce was a huge thick piece too large for the sandwich. The regular cheeseburger was thrown together also. I’m not sure what was going on yesterday but it was not a good experience.“

“WOW, was this great! Just traveling through and in town for a week, saw this place and thought we'd check it out. I had the sampler platter and my mom had the shrimp kabobs. Everything was amazing!! With the exception of gyros and baklava, I haven't had much Mediterranean food... I'm not even sure what was what on that sampler lol. Separately, it was yummy, but then I started putting bites together and dang near polished the whole thing off myself because it was so deliciousI couldn't stop. Plus, that baklava was to die for! I've had a lot of baklava in my 43 years, but that was the best I ever ate by a long shot.

And the staff was so pleasant and helpful too! If I ever find myself back in town, we'll definitely return.“
