Most of the time the servers are very attentive; occasionally when extremely busy, it might take a few extra minutes for the food to reach the table. Have never left hungry or dissatisfied. This bbq joint is definitely a hole within the hole in the wall. In a questionable area BUT don't let that deter you. You order at the window and hang out til your order is ready. (My only gripe was walking away smelling like bbq smoke) I haaaaaate this so bad! The rib plate comes with about 5 bones and two sides. $18 roughly. This was a serious plate with great portions! Definitely had leftovers. I got coleslaw and baked beans to go along with my ribs. Both sides dishes were exceptional! Sooooo good!!! The bbq sauce was amazing as well. Their menu has a number of entree items and traditional sides. It's cash only so be prepared. There is street parking and private parking available. These were some of the best ribs I've ever had!!!! “In town for an event at the Coliseum. This place was across the street and the food smoke in the air called us. We stopped in. Glad we did me, my wife, and my teen all agreed one of the best BBQ places we've ever eaten. Great service too.“
“I got the Joe's burger, and my friend got the cheeseburger with added bacon. Holy smokes. It's big, it's juicy, it's delicious, and the fries are awesome too. The service was great! I don't know his name, but the guy that took our order was professional and polite, all with phone orders coming in and people in line. It only took about 15 minutes to get our 3 orders ready, and he brought it out to our car, fresh and hot. If I lived here, I would be a regular!“

“Delicious food and great place to spend some time with friends and family. I had a 3 meat platter and the hickory sausage sharing platter. The ribs, pork, and chicken were very dry and needed the BBQ sauce. The ribs were dissapointing since the meat did not fall off the bone like the OG Tuscaloosa location. The hickory sausage was delicious and very much worth a meal in itself. The mac and cheese was good. The house made chips were good when they were crispy, but some were soggy from the meat on them. The BBQ sauce is really good and potent, defiantly worth taking a jar home. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The toilets are clean.“
“I was really excited for this place to open because I've always had to go to a location in Montgomery that is known for great seafood, cleanliness and service. I'll miss the guys in Montgomery but I've moved my business to Legacy which is closer to home and provides the same great service, product and cleanliness that I expect. I've bought meals, ordered large amounts of shrimp for multiple shrimp and have had my son's wedding rehearsal dinner from here. They always take great care of my family and EVERYBIDY raved about how good the rehearsal dinner was. It doesn't matter what you order, fish, BBQ, wings, shrimp, prepared or raw it's always fresh and always provides me with a high quality product. You definitely want to give these guys a chance, they won't let you down.“
