“Locally owned restaurant for decades. Has been in current location since 1990. Known for their fried chicken. Daily specials, one meat, and 3 veggies currently priced at 14.99. Fried chicken was flavorful and a good variety of veggies to choose from. Places served with bskwt of cornbread muffins.“

“the food is good not going to lie but they need to do something about customer service over the telephone no one don't want to deal with no one where the rude mouth or hanging up on them when I'm spending my money only thing I wanted was for the cashier to open up my food and allow to dash it to take a picture of my food so I can see my food before I got it as they do in the restaurant they open up your plate for you to look at it and you content with your meal and you go so why is it the same done for doordash the cashier should have on gloves open up the customer plate allowed to Dasher to take a picture to send to the person who ordered their food that's all I'm saying I paid 33 some odd dollars for one plate with a tip to the Dasher that left me paying 40 something bucks for one plate yes the food is good but I do not like dealing with no rude people I almost walked up there because it is the neighborhood where I grew up from“

“I got the beef liver and onion. Real homemade flavors. You’re gonna want to set some time aside during and maybe after because it’s the kind of place to have you laying down on grandmas couch afterwards. Not a lot of parking so ordering ahead might be a good idea if you in a hurry. But don’t worry if you late and ate at Davis cafe you’ll end up where you supposed to be either way.“

“This place has some of the best food I’ve ever eaten best customer service ever I had fried chicken Lima beans and yams hubby had smothered chicken yams and macaroni and cheese with cornbread I’m a gravy fan so I had a side of gravy I love this place can’t wait to come back I’m from Memphis Tennessee ask my husband often to bring me back we will make the trip soon“

“We stopped on the way to the beach. In a quiet shipping complex, this was an easy in and out lunch. We tried the chicken salad salad with ranch dressing and pickles, the club sandwich with turkey and chips, loaded potato soup, and broccoli salad. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. Lots of beverages to choose from, including watermelon ice tea, strawberry lemonade, and soda. You order at the counter, get your drinks, find a seat, and wait as they bring out your food in a very prompt manner.“

“The food wasn't bad. I'm having trouble getting over the hotel charging me $20 for 1 hour of valet parking and telling me just to deal with it. I guess you're supposed to park on the street and take your chances. I won't go back to this restaurant because of the Renaissance hotel policy.“

“This was wonderful…the food, the service, the friendly people…I just can’t say enough about how much we loved this restaurant. Well we ate 3 of our 6 meals here. We would have eaten more but we ate two of our 6 at the Riverwalk Stadium during baseball games and another before we found the place. Love your Cafe! Oh and also the best sweet tea of my 61 years!“

“I had to come on here to let y’all know the best tasting barbecue at the fair was Potz & Panz. They are my #1 pick. Now I’m sending someone every week to pick up my orders. The meat was falling off the bone yall. It was perfectly smoked with just the right amount of barbecue sauce. All the flavors melted in my mouth. The sides were homemade seasoned with perfection. It awakened my taste buds. They can throw down! I had to let the the other vendors taste their competition. They even said Potz and Panz won. The flavor was one in a million. Not to mention the owner Mrs. Pugh showed so much love to my family and I. The food tasted like love because she is love. Now I’m addicted! I’m glad she’s serving Montgomery. Go support! I don’t know what I would do if I had to wait on the fair to get another taste. Every week the food remains the same quality. Thank you for the good food and southern hospitality! Most importantly, thank you for letting God use you 🙇🏾♀️❤️🙏🏾“

“You MUST try the Grilled fish! We did call-in. The to-go person was polite and very detailed-oriented. Our food was ready, correct and absolutely delicious as always! I LOVE this place! Tell them Ms. Teresa sent you for that grilled fish with bell peppers and onions!“

“Really enjoyed a light evening meal & drinks at the bar with Colbey tending bar. The Caesar salad and Sliders were good, Colbey made me her special mezcal margarita- fire. What a great evening. We had a fine time and would recommend if you’re in Montgomery.“
